GOOD NEWS! Cheesy Smiley I was testing around with TheThrillness and I got infinite sprint glitch to work! Got it fully recorded and am currently uploading to Youtube. I'll post link here when it's up. Atm it looks like all you need to do is run either into a certain type of slope/object as soon as meter is running out or filling up. Definitely something that obstructs Sebastian's path, also I was climbing and falling off of a lot of things mashing X in general and after Sebastian ran out of breath once, I continued running and it happened just shortly after that. Maybe we can get a better idea after it's uploaded and we inspect it closer. Happened in chapter 4 by the way. HEY HO MARMALADE

There we go! Enjoy! Explanation of the glitch in description!

So far may only be PS4/XBOX One only, so maybe only next gen. TheThrillness tried on PS3 and hasn't gotten it so far, although it's a very tough glitch. Even knowing how to do it, I've only gotten it 4 times so far after much trying!
You freak! Fantastic work! That's the shit we've been waiting to see!

Reminds me of RE4's Ditman glitch. Some stuff cancels but we have to set it up again. Looks like you've got it down almost 100%.
Will test it on PS3 tomorrow but if TheThrillness cant get it to work I don't think I'll have much luck.

It's funny you say that Zero because I was actually comparing it to the RE4 Ditman glitch with Thrillness last night haha. Hopefully it becomes easier to perform and no more shit cancels it, or it may become useless and not worth it. Sad

Got it again on video in a slightly different way so figured might as well upload:

I wasn't getting it for longest time, then I started mashing X and got it in like 5 minutes while running into that pole and stumbled and stopped after my meter ran out. Mashing X might just be a coincidence though. I'll see if I can get it without pressing X.
Maybe you have to be in an area where your character keeps stumbling, run out of stamina, let it refill then stumble once more and maybe that triggers infinite stamina?

Good finds btw Magnum66

Once this gets out, do you think the developers will patch it?
If it's up to Bethesda I doubt it.

Found a new cutscene skip:

You can blow yourself right past the final safe door escaping the Keeper and skip the cutscene of Sebastian closing it. If you turn around, the cutscene will play and Sebastian will close an invisible door lmao.
Hahaha nice one.

You think that's cool, I found another glitch in chapter 4 where you get completely stuck. Uploading now and will post here when it's up. Wink

Edit: Found ANOTHER glitch in same part of chapter. Will upload both videos and post here.
http://twitch.tv/Exisidis2
First glitch:

Description: If you melee just into the entrance of the elevator and aim and immediately walk back, you can make it outside the doors of the elevator JUST as they're closing and the elevator goes down without Sebastian! Sadly the room doesn't unload and you can't get out of bounds with this, you're just trapped in limbo lol. Still cool though.

Second glitch:

Description: Same concept as the elevator glitch. Move sideways right to left while aiming and you can get back under the shutter just before it closes on the completely opposite side. You'll be trapped again though and unable to progress. Still a funny glitch though, sadly no OoB. Sad

Enjoy!

Just found a new Out of Bounds glitch in chapter 5, uploading as we speak and will post here. Of course to go with the theme of most glitches I find, it's useless, but still VERY cool.
Excellent stuff hahaha.
Can't believe how much crap we've found and the game hasn't even been out that long.

One thing I've been trying in Chapter 4 is the part where Ruvik appears on the staircase. You can't get past him because he blocks the way so I was trying to blast myself using the rocket launcher to try and pass through him and go all the way down the stairs.

It doesn't work because Ruvik's body acts like a wall and Seb just falls at his feet then gets up into Ruvik's attack.

And just saw your update about Chapter 5 OOB as I type this. Really enjoying your finds and looking forward to it

http://twitch.tv/Exisidis2
Funny you say that Zero, I've tried and you actually CAN get past Ruvik! Smiley I've done it many many times. Maybe it's PS4 or next gen only, but if you run at the right angle you can runp ast him. I ran past as far as game would let me and you eventually get to a duct or vent protruding out in front of the stairs. You can crouch under it and keep on going and running down the stairs though. Sadly it's REALLY long and pretty much endless and you definitely can't get far enough in time before chapter end cutscene of you falling happens.
What the hell???

I wasted to much time there trying that. Hmm, maybe it is version specific. That chapter 3 OOB from that guy doesn't work for me no matter what.

New out of bounds glitch I found:

Description: Again using the same method as the shutter glitch, if you aim and walk sideways really fast going right and quickly back left JUST as doors are closing for the Ruvik and Leslie cutscene, you can get out before they close. The doors closing triggers the cutscene and you can walk all the way back to the Laura boss fight room where you shouldn't be. Most things are loaded so I kept going back and the doorway that disappears earlier is now unloaded and it's just a black room. If you go into it you will fall completely out of bounds! Smiley You will keep sinking and swimming down under the entire level during the Ruvik and Leslie cutscene. Sadly though as soon as the next cutscene starts you are teleported back to the STEM room. Still cool though and still out of bounds baby! Smiley
Wow, that's crazy. Awesome finds.
A few thoughts on my mind, next gen consoles can hold more stuff in their game, ie extra walls, more objects and other such details. This may be why some glitches don't work

Second thing is how Ruben changed his name to Ruvik. Ruben Victorianos= Ru+Vic=Ruvik. I just realised this lol
Oh, and another thing, how are the speed run times going to be put together? NG Casual NG+ Casual NG Survival NG+ Survival, So on, so on.Thats going to be a lot of times recorded. 8 Different times lol
Yeah each difficulty NG and again for NG+.

The low% would be no upgrades/no keys right?
Can't wait for the DLC. That will be another batch of categories for us.

http://twitch.tv/Exisidis2
I think there should be 3 categories personally:

NG Casual, NG+ Casual, and NG+ Akumu

Maybe a 4th category for NG+ Casual segmented.
Don't touch me you filthy casual.
How low do you think it's possible to bring this game in a casual NG?
http://twitch.tv/Exisidis2
At the moment Ponkie, I would say some estimated limits for Casual NG:

In game time: 3:53ish

RTA: 4:03ish

Found a new timesaver earlier today while streaming! I found out how to run in water/blood/liquid where Sebastian normally moves very slow and sluggishly through. It wastes a bit of ammo, but in NG+ 100% worth it and NG as long as you use it wisely. The quickshot/alternative melee button (R2 on PS4 and R1 on PS3) that does a quickshot of your handgun if you press it or hold it. If you hold that while moving forward in water or blood or any type of liquid, Sebastian will run right through the liquid! It fires off one handgun bullet but that's it. He'll keep the gun aimed out forward in quickshot mode and keep running through liquid. If the liquid is long enough Sebastian will eventually unaim the gun and you will have to press and hold the button in one more time. MUCH faster than the old method of just aiming normally through water and liquids.

Sadly this doesn't work though in areas of the game where Sebastian is just forced to walk slow, only in water and what not.

Edit: I found out you don't even have to hold the button for this trick now! Just have your gun out and tap it once quickly and you don't have to waste any ammo! Smiley

I got infinite sprint glitch recorded for a 3rd time:

Description: I got it again. This time I didn't have to completely deplete my sprint meter and recharge it at all, Sebastian never ran out of breath. I just started chapter 4, ran to there and kept mashing X and it eventually happened.

So yeah good news, you don't have to fully deplete Sebastian's sprint meter it looks like. Again I was pressing X though and dipping to the right just when the sprint meter was getting low to stumble and have Sebastian be stopped. Then when it starts recharging, you run away and it keeps recharging. What exactly CAUSES it? I don't know to be honest, but I'm working on it. Also you can see at the end that the little slide Sebastian does, shifting around, cancels the glitch. So I don't think lantern does. So things that cancel infinite sprint so far:

Switching weapons, melee, inventory, or sliding cancels the glitch. If opening doors also cancels it, sad to say but this glitch might turn out fucking useless. Especially being THIS hard to get on a consistent basis. Who knows though.
