My feelings on The Demon Rush
BoltR: Try reading the text when you pick up the first one
Also, almost forgot, every character in this game has a variety of special moves. Here are a couple that you usually start off with (and therefore aren't necessarily listed in the buy screen).
forward+attack - Usually a move with long reach of some sort.
down, up+attack - Every character except for Alien Green has this kind of attack, but Pink Ostrich's is really bad until she upgrades it (then it becomes really good).
hold attack, then release - To be honest, this move isn't too useful for most characters.
qcf+attack - Actually, Captain Silver is the only charcter who starts off with this move, but I included just so you're not confused when you sometimes perform a flying attack
Like most Capcom beat 'em ups, you can hold down (maybe up too, haven't tried) while performing your combo to throw at the end. This is good for grouping, which is important in beat 'em ups.
BTW, if Barbara (the stage 3 boss) is proving to be a major hurdle for people (probably will because she's one of the toughest bosses in the game), I'll write up a little strategy guide on Wednesday or Thursday.
P.S. I know this has been mentioned 100 times by now, but I really hate the new animated smileys. I would frowny face, but that wouldn't help.
