We require more minerals

Yeah it seems like we can at least make our seed a little bit less crazy what we're looking for:

Snow nearby, ravine, and stronghold close to spawn. The ravine might take a few tries but theres a good chance we can find all the resources we need down there, so we grab some wood head down into the nearest ravine for resources. Make a nether portal and get our blaze rods. Depending on how long that takes we do different things when we return.

If it's Night we go endermen hunting while farming snow and staying in the same area, if it's Day we farm snow. Night time would be ideal since monsters always spawn within a certain block radius of the player if we stay in the same general area there's more likelihood of finding the endermen we need. A stronghold with endermen eyes in it just helps with the likelihood of not having to spend another night on endermen which would definitely save time if that's the case.

Then we delve to the End Portal either through the stronghold if theres eyes in convenient chests, or diggy diggy hole there and snowball cheese the #$@! out of the dragon.

This could actually be a really fast run...

Um there is enough lava in the portal room. There is 13 lava blocks Tongue

We also don't need a ravine. We can just cartograph the world and find where iron is and dig straight down to get it since it's everywhere. What we need is a stronghold with tons of enderpearls in it. It can be far away since he where they spawn is running distance for half a day. But a Stronghold far away with 8 or so Ender pearls will yield a faster run than a stronghold with 1 ender pearl. Basically stronghold locating doesn't matter unless the strong hold has 12 pearls then it will matter otherwise we got hunting to do.

Infinite diamonds, and an easy way to get obsidian without spending 15 seconds to mine it? awesome!
I tried getting the glitch to work with a non-stackable item and it didn't work though, not that there's really any non-stackable item we need to duplicate.

If we're sprinting everywhere, couldn't we just use peaceful difficulty except when we need to kill mobs? It would make everything a ton easier as the Endermen in The End don't spawn.

Heh, good point about the mode. Will there be multiple types of Minecraft runs? For example: Peaceful and NOT Peaceful? It definitely changes the gameplay and I think would work well.

Wait wait wait wait wait. I could have sworn that glitch got patched...

There is another that doesn't rely on save quitting thought that probably will get patched but I'm not sure.

Anyway the way I see this is, We just need 1 ender pearl and one blaze rod right? That makes running this game 10 times easier. That also reminds me in the seed: IWBTG, I found on the way to the strong hold there is a lone Enderman that naturally spawnes in broad daylight. Maybe we could use him?

Edit: Oh yeah I forgot to mention this glitch. You basically put water down, let it flow all the way to the end then one block away from the end of it you put a nether portal, then put a block parallel to the source block and then jump into the water, go into the work bench put your pearl and blaze rod in sudden you drop 2 of each except one is an infinite supply item, use that to make 12 ender eye. Boom 12 ender eye. Btw you have to craft these cause the infinite supply items aren't real until crafted.

Edit2: Well I stand corrected, they are really once you take them out of the crafting bench. So basically we can use this to get infinite ender eye and infinite snow. It will make a 250 stack of snow.

I was thinking, maybe it would be possible to make a SMP run as well. I think the dragon works on SMP (but it wouldn't spawn on my test server).

Snowballs can stunlock. The dragon does work in smp but the nether portal duplication glitch does not.

Edit: Well after testing with the dragon. Snow balls are extremely bad at killing that thing. So yeah arrows it is. We can use the item duplication glitch to get infinite arrows. We should also do it with the snow balls though just because I think snow would be great for the towers. Also just forget the IWBTG seed, I went to the end and there is some terrible tower placement. Also blazes spawn naturally in the Nether iirc so we shouldn't need to go to the nether.

So how about this.

That is the seed requirements now for me. However this will be a item duplication run as a different category. I don't think this will be counted as a regular run just because how significantly different it would be.

7:31 (Minutes, seconds) MAY be achievable with ridiculous luck on chest finds and very fast duplication of items, but I don't think someone who made an account and posted a bunch of stuff (6 posts, one thread, 3 hours, 4 of which are in a row? One of which is a hype post less than a minute after another?, two threads for the same thing, and 3 posts elsewhere on it? Asking questions answered in the FAQ?) would be the one to find it.

I'd believe you if, as Anonymous said, you explained your route and shared your seed choice.

It's kind of far away. But still I found away to quickly destroy the ender dragon and the health pearls.
I used cobblestone to get to the pillars and arrows when needed to kill the ender dragon, even though I only needed to destroy half the health pearls.

The time IS 7 minutes 31 seconds.
You can find crazy luck sometimes.
I dug up some cobble near the stronghold (not in it) to use for pillars, and recycled them, also managing to kill some enders, even though the run started at night. (For waiting, and better gaming, and more legitimate, the time would actually be 17:31. (10 minutes added because I wait for night to get ender eyes.)) The day also gives me time to collect other resources.

So yes, the time IS, actually, 0:17:31 (17 minutes 31 seconds)

And, yes, I ventured a little deep into the stronghold (Run is medium mode) to find chests and grab a little items from there too.

It doesn't work that way.. Everything from when you first spawn is part of the run..

If you'd just said you waited 10 minutes and cited a 17:31 then that would have been fine (and more believable). So, 7:31 is enough time to do all the combat related things, as long as the day is spent preparing. Interesting.
