Hi, I've been speedrunning Bastion atleast a couple times a week for the past month or two and I'm going to start speedrunning Black Mesa after I finish it. I'd like to be a part of your wonderful group, and maybe get some more exposure.
Seeing as I'm no longer running rollergames, my description should probably be changed. Just change it to 'very bad things' and it'll be fine. Link for reference http://www.twitch.tv/murphagator
Was wondering if I could be added to the list as well? I have one run going up on the site soon (hopefully) and I stream regularly. Currently working on a Metal Gear Solid 1 Big Boss Segmented Speedrun with my friend Greg (TheThrillness on SDA) I stream everything from speedrun attempts, glitching, to just casual gameplay and fun runs. I also have been racing MGS1 SS recently with Greg.
I would very much like to be added to the SDA wooty stream page.
Currently I am working on Fatal Frame, and would like to use this as a resource for racing Resident Evil and other survival horror games, as well as Donkey Kong 64
Don't really know if I would qualify atm but I took part in both numbersmw and sandymarathon and am currently working on being first person to do a Japanese Secret of the Stars run (there's only an LP of it on Nico T_T). I would love to submit a Mega Man X3 100% run to the site but I need a dvd recorder and dazzle and money is really tight for me atm. As for speedrun discussions, I'm actually helping Carl and Trihex with IL's to submit here by showing new strats in my IL's. http://www.twitch.tv/zewing . Thank you for your consideration.
Would like to be added if possible, i play lots of games on stream, Street Fighter series, Tekken series.
My main speed run games are Pokémon Blue/Red - Disney's Aladdin (SNES) - And Hercules (PS1), i stream these games a few times per week. Also submitted runs last year under the name Psyduckz (Pokémon)
Not sure this is the place for this, but has there been any discussion about improving the layout of the live streams page? Each stream is squeezed into an uncomfortable ninth of the screen (give or take, depending on resolution or screen dimensions, etc), and there is no room for a chatroom or anything. Basically what I'm getting at is that SRL's setup is crazy sexy compared to ours, and we should borrow some of their ideas. I'm thinking maybe it would be best to increase the size of each stream so that only one or two at a time could be shown on a single screen, and then have all the other streams embedded below (vertically speaking). The streams would be listed vertically from, let's say, most watched to least watched.
Or perhaps there could be a number of filter tabs at the top so the viewer could determine in what order they were listed .. lest we outright steal SRL's display. If you really wanted, you could even leave the current setup as "classic view" or something like that.
Anyway, another alternative would be to have one -featured- run at the top and have the other live streams below ... which would basically be exactly what SRL does.
EDIT: And because I have a tendency to ask stupid questions that already have a solution, let me know if there's a way to do this already.
This is not srl. Srl has a tendency to feature top streams and not the others. SDA's method is better cause it let's you choose what you want the instant you enter instead of having a pre-selected option.
