Big apologies (again) for taking so long to update. Should be up to date now.
Also we kinda reached a limit to how many channels the Justin API (which is used for Twitch also in this system) supports in a single request - it's somewhere around 200 if my thoughts are right. I've modded the Justin module to split up requests before that limit is reached.
http://www.twitch.tv/axlester I stream RPGs generally will be games like Pokemon during the week days and Final Fantasy games during the weekends. May pick up LoZ games at a later stage but for now thats what it will be.
Currently only DuckTales Remastered and MK9 sight, might, and strike blind run. I plan to study Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers and DuckTales once I can get the older console setup going.
You know what, I might as well see if I can get added since I've been around for a bit even though I'm not super active on the forum. I occasionally stream TASing and casual stuff but the bulk of my streams are straight speedruns.
I currently hold world records in games that start with "Mario" and "Pokémon".
Sure, the games are "Mario Golf: Advance Tour" and "Pokémon Puzzle Challenge," but I'm not sure anyone else can make such a claim. (I am contemplating submitting my Pokémon Puzzle Challenge Intense run if I cannot get a better one.) I'm currently running Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards and intend to run other Yu-Gi-Oh! games as well as other RPGs in the future. And yes, I am a Disgaea fan, if that gives you any indication.
I did offer to play my two world record games at AGDQ, but whether that constitutes "discussion" is not up to me. I will not be offended if you ignore this post.
I speedrun Fire Emblem games, mainly Radiant Dawn. I also have a run published on the site. Right now I'm streaming practice for a Radiant Dawn easy mode single segment run on a fairly consistent basis.
Was a bit of an issue where, if Justin's API response was too big (due to requesting too many channels in a single request) it wouldn't send the response at all. It seems to be that if the response is too big, not the number of channels, it doesn't get sent, so at the setting I'd chosen it would sometimes work and sometimes wouldn't. It's now split into three requests with a smaller number of channels, so should hopefully work full time.
The other issue is that, when the site was developed, Twitch didn't exist, and when Twitch did exist it didn't have an API and exclusively used Justin's for quite a while. So, the site's still using an outdated API because lazy.
