Ok I just beat Kashyyyk with a time of 2:56. Using my previous speed run, I predict I will finish with a time of 3:45. I should finish the run by tommorow.

I have the first file still downloading at the moment to start watching it. Slow going so it may take a while before anyone can get the whole thing downloaded.

Other run will likely be ready before we fully grab this run. We'll get it though. Looking forward to watching Taris this afternoon.

I am at the tile floor puzzle in the Unknown World Temple. I PM Radix to ask if thjere would be seperate records, but he hasn't PM me back yet. I am just going to do the darkside run even though I think it is harder. It has a cooler ending in my opinion. Plus my character hasn't done a single lightside act, I think, so maybe a pure darkside run could be accepted.

I agree Dark Side is harder... you only have bastila to assist you, instead of Jolee and Juhani... and on Deck 2 it makes a HUGE difference. *shudder* yeeks...

It is funny, Deck 2 is by far the easiest of the Decks. All you have to do is run by all of them, deactivate the turrets, and leave.

Ugh, Tell me about it. No destroy Droid? No Kill? Not even second level lightning? Horrible stats. All I will need her for is to kill the three Jedi though, so it wont be to bad.

heck, she doesn't even have FLURRY, or a good Critical strike... X_X and all the good force powers you could have put on, not even Light powers, but Force Wave, others... ;_;

Well so much for taris today. It booted me at 100megs. Trying to reconnect but the server isn't responding to requests at the moment. Might be down. If it goes back up let me know. I don't have MSN here at the moment. Just yahoo messenger. Add lop to the back of my username to get my yahoo name.

Malak dies quickly after you first lower him, Death field spam, and then go insane.

I saved a ton of my stims so I just used them all at the end, turned on my Verpine Shield and wacked away. Then I finished him off with Thermal Detonators. Much easier than my last run.

Juncti - the server is up now, as I said before I had to leave for a LAN, but now it will be up for months Wink

What time you got on this run Revan? I only played with main characters except where you HAD to use more characters, such as taris, SF part of Dantooine, Leviathan and Temple. I had alot problems with Malak, took me several hours just to get it as good as it turned out, though it wasn't that great, overall with talking included that battle is almost 5 minutes. However you have to consider my low level of 14 in this battle, makes it ALOT harder to both hit, and not get hit, and also to survive with under 100 HP.

My last save is listed at 3:46. It takes my 1:24 seconds from there to kill Malak, so the time is probably around 3:47 or 3:48. Playing the darkside wasted a lot of time in the star forge. If I played light I could get it below 3:45 I bet. My run as it is now is a pure darkside run. I may be mistaken, but I dont believe I did a single lightside act and finished with a complete darkside rating. What was your time?

I am waiting for Radix to get back to me. Once he does I imagine I can start the process of getting the run up.

I mix both good and bad, more of a pure speedrun, so mine is at 3.27 after Malak is beaten (I quickly hit escape and save the game right after he's defeated and before he starts talking). Try on the IRC channel, though you'd still need to verify your run, I can do it if you like to.

Man that is impressive. I don't know how you beat it that quickly. YOu played it on Normal right? It will be interesting to see how you beat it that quick.

I skipped all not neccecary things in the game basicly. Though I am playing at easy, which is hard enough when making a lowlevelrun without using the levelup bug.

I played it on normal, which probably explains the 20 minute time difference. I haven't played it on easy, so I don't know what differences there are. Good time though.

I dont know the exact differences, but when I played it the first time, I played easy, then at the end (the starforge), I switched to hard, I didn't notice any difference.

Was just able to resume the download. So hopefully some of the files will finish up tonight. I'll let them download overnight and hopefully they might finish up. Depends on if this speed holds up.

Edit: Just finished watching Taris, very nice. Flew through that very fast. Only odd point was the reload when a battle was falling apart in the vulkar base. Other thing I saw was running to the sith guard at the elevator before getting the armor. Is that necessary? I can't remember but I thought if you went to the apartments you would run into the Sith anyway. Also, some battles might be easier if you pick up a few grenades along the way. Most notibly the swoop engine fight, the big sentry robot guard, and the dark jedi.

Was downloading the rest overnight but the hurricane knocked out power, think I managed to get up to part 5, won't know till power comes back.

I'm not sure if it's neccecary, might not be actually, this is the way I usually do it though, but if you're correct it can save a minute or so atleast, and about the grenades, yeah, that's true in the beginning, just that I didn't memorize so much where they were, only on certain occasions, like when taking the swoop thingie.

When I ran through Taris I went straight to the Apartments, ran into the Sith guards, killed them, took the armor, put it on, and then went to the Lower City. You don't need to go to the guard first.

Finished watching Dantooine and Manaan. Dantooine is about as clean as it gets. I can't see anything that could be cut out. Manaan was awesome too, didn't realize you could just skip so many battles and fly from checkpoint to checkpoint. Thought for sure a few times it was going to be over but somehow managed to sneek through.

Only question on Dantooine is why did you level up just before becoming a Jedi? Can't you save it, choose the jedi path and then go up 2 jedi levels? Seems like the extra force powers might have been helpful. Doubt it'd make a difference on that planet but might effect times on future planets.

I'll keep watching, I'm trying to download the rest, still need Kashyyyk to the end but the server keeps kicking me off.

Can't wait to compare this to Revan's run.
