I think we still have potential for more OoB routes and improvements. Plus, if I can figure out how to reproduce the grappling hook warping glitch, we might be able to do some awesome things.

I think we still have potential for more OoB routes and improvements. Plus, if I can figure out how to reproduce the grappling hook warping glitch, we might be able to do some awesome things.

Used a few of them in my run and I've always believed that the game can be more broken than what it already is, would not be surprised to see it go sub 2 hours.

Used the new OOB found in Broadcast, so damn broken now.
As for the grappling hook glitch, managed to do it by the tower but that is about it.

Has anyone done that broadcast oob all the way through?

I know I'm missing triggers for the door cut scene at the end to activate because if I go into the outside area I get a game crash.

The room full of spitters doesn't spawn correctly, so it's before that and after the "Is that a kid?" line.

Check at like 2h20 ish minutes, he does the route like 2 times with a way to go in bounds on the stairs that lead to the top door

I found that earlier also but the door won't open if you do it that way. I went back and watched the vod and neither time did he check for the prompt on the door.

Edit: I think there are two we miss by going oob. The one that spawns spitters and the one that spawns all the runner zombies in the hallway before the stairs. I got the spitters to spawn, went back to the oob route and tried but the runners didn't and I couldn't get the prompt. Also, opening the door that leads into the pipe isn't the trigger for the spitters; I checked that also.

I tested the new OOB in Broadcast and even though there is a full route of it with triggers it is still 14 seconds slower.
Also, I ordered a new GPU that should arrive latest Tuesday!

It isn't your GPU's fault. I've tested running the game at 640x480 with every single thing turned down to the lowest, and I still get only between 25-35 FPS in the Slums. I just found this, so I'm going to give it a try. I really need higher FPS to do speedruns properly. It involves a tool that someone made to try to get the game to run faster. I really hope it works.

Well, I know that changing the priority of the CPU might help and I am already using the Dying Light Manager to turn off about 95% of the things in the game, running at 720p and it is good except for some open areas in the game.
My current GPU is a Gigabyte HD 6970 at 2GB so I believe the new one should make a huge difference, it is the only piece in my rig that is lacking at the moment, not only getting a new one for this game but GTA V and other upcoming games.

Not hitting the awesome grappling hooks exactly where you want because of 20 fps is so frustrating...

Omg! That application actually works! I'm able to get 60 frames at certain times!!!!! The game looks really bleached out but it really does disable a ton of stuff. Also, you can change the FOV to be crazy and look like old Quake if you want too. :-P

The dying light Manager aswell as a steam guide Twikax gave me made my game run lagless with ~50 Fps in cost for a lot of quality but thanks for that. Gonna be able to stream some runs soon.

Found a way to go during Pact with Rais, when heading out from the cutscene with the bomber, just go into the second tunnel and grab the blockade on the right side and it will let you through, saving 20 or so seconds.
Second, a new OOB found in Clinic by twikax that should save 40 seconds, I found a good setup for it so should be quick to do.
Also skipping that zombie kid during Public Face to save 20 seconds.

Can't wait to do a new run with these and a new gpu!

I already use blockade jump route for all travel between the 'coast' side of the map to get back to the main city area. I never go up that mountain section. It is in my 2:36 run I did yesterday. I could have sworn I mentioned it to you guys before... I found it on Thursday. Also, a majority of those blockades you can get over via various techniques. There are almost always a spot where you can grab. Then, via hookshot, you can 'float' over them to get to the other side.
Oh, also, coming from the coast, you can simply jump on the one red van and jump through that hole in the blockade (no grabbing required).

I've made my first run that I can say isn't bad! There were a couple of main things I messed up, mostly involving triggers. I know how to do the parkour test now to despawn Rahim properly (thanks to Abahbob!). So, that's something I'll change next run. Also, Area Escape, I missed that one trigger, but won't miss it next time. I hope you guys like it! Even though it isn't WR, there is a lot to learn from some of the strats I use that are different from other runners.
