I'm gonna try a run today. Was thinking pretty much the same route as proposed by demonstrate. I believe there should be the katana to buy for ~$2000, its 50x better than weapons at the time.

Could you test how many relief packages are required for Survivor Level 25? The point of getting to 25 is to get the last Survivor ability which allows you to use the grappling hook like 5-6 times in a row, which is extremely useful.
Also, I believe that the EXP for a relief package is fixed per Survivor level. That is why you might not be able to get to Level 25 with 999 relief packages. It may require 2 duping sessions.

The katanas you are able to purchase at level 25 or above should do around 1200 damage and kill pretty much everything in 1 hit. So, in many cases, it is actually faster to kill things instead of trying to go around them (I'm specifically thinking of the special enemies). Plus, it super levels your Power because of the damage output.

I believe it took me 300-400 in my testing yesterday. 100 got me to 10, another to 17, another to 23, and one last time for 25.

I will focus my efforts on finding better routes for any% no glitch run then.
You guys seem to be doing great on the duping and getting hook shot early!

You might not need two duping seassions if you manage to get them to 999 in the beginning.

Just withdraw half and then half. The amount of XP you get should increase after 450 and the second 450 batch should get you to 25.

Had my first run today, a really bad one but still sub 3 hours so hopefully the next will be around 2:45 ish or so.
On the last mission the game derped, could not progress up the tower so I guess a trigger or something didn't fire.
Would post a video but 2 hours in Twitch started dropping frames like mad so will try and record the next one instead.

Would like to speak of timing and such, do you guys think we should go by the IGT?
Looks like IGT removes all the loading and other stuff, perhaps it would be more fair for people not on SSD or something?
I can go either way, RTA or IGT doesn't matter.

Well I expected a lot more from this OoB as you could just go straight to Sector 0, unfortunatelly some triggers can't be taken OoB.

Nice, been waiting to see this one since you mentioned it in chat!
There is one more area that should have a good OOB as well, I think it's the part for The Musem with the big sewer system where you have to open at least one gate to enter a tunnel.

I would go with IGT aswell, especially because I don't have a SSD.
Btw is there any glitch to get Agility to 25 fast? That would be awesome and save time over the whole run.

I level my agility by vaulting over zombies and trying to land on other ones. This gives you 20+20 points. Jumping over small fences and barricades gives you 10 points.

It only really matters to get agility level 5 in no glitch run. After that you mostly use the roads anyway.

Patch 1.30 released today and now the game is crashing constantly for me and making it unplayable.

Does anyone else have performance problems now?

I have routed the first 25 minutes of the game for Any%. Beyond what I do, there may be minor tweaks we could make in terms of pathing, but everything else is the sequence you should need to do stuff so that you are set for the rest of the game in terms of items. You have to dupe more than 1500 Relief Packages. 1500 or so only got me to level 24. So, I just double the 1500 to 3000 and I'm level 25 when I turn them in. The entire route is 100% guaranteed, so there is no luck involved in finding certain items and such. Please, look over this video and let me know if you have any suggestions.

Generally speaking, I don't really see the point of a no glitch run. If you did a run with no duping, you can get guns using gate clip the first time you go to Rais's place. After that, the run becomes similar to Any% sans grappling hook. You'd still want speed potions, and may need to make a couple detours to get supplies, but they spawn so close to the tower, it shouldn't be a big time loss.

I've always had problems. The game crashed on me 3 times during my first playthrough. I'm running 2 video cards in crossfire, and it is known to have problems with that setup. It is quite annoying. I've researched quite a number of ways of trying to get a higher framerate out of the game, but it seems that may not happen for my current system. I may be building a new one later this year so I'm not worrying about it too much right now.

I'm not sure if you are responding to me, but I wasn't responding to you. If Level 25 Agility was possible, you get the ability to climb up flat walls, so everything else is less important. After that, the game becomes either Titanfall or Shinobi, depending on if you would have a katana by then or not. :-P

Speaking of which, has anyone tested the wall climbing ability? It is called Tic Tac. I'm sure the game doesn't intend on you having it early on, so it would be interesting to see a New Game+ category use it in combination with the grappling hook. The difference between it and the grappling hook is that it should be possible to use in a safe zone since it is a passive movement ability.

I haven't had any issues pre or post patch with crashing.

This mod allow you to restart at each checkpoint of each mission, which is REALLY useful for training/routing.

I also like to use this trainer, mostly for saving location/teleport, other things can be useful too.

No I was responding to Hattu, he said it wouldn't matter in a no glitch run but I think getting to 25 Agi early in the game would save a few Minutes/seconds.
