I have a game in mind that I want to run, but there doesn't seem to be any routes online so having to feel it out. Hopefully I can find one before the submission date.
Oh my, that one is pretty awful. I submitted the SNES version of Shaq Fu. All I got to say is I wish you luck though, as its shovelware that somehow manages to be worse than Shaq Fu.
Oddly enough, I submitted for Ninjabread Man on the Wii earlier. All we need now is someone to cover Rock n' Roll Adventures and the unholy trinity will be complete.

If that happens, I wanna see a race between these three games
Also, Even though I'm not running anything, what about someone run Greendog on the Genesis? Though it is a childhood game for me, it can be stupid to some

I dunno... playing all 3 games at the same time could summon a horror the likes of which has never been seen before.

Well, I'll say, most games, especially ones this obscure, are definitely not going to have routes. If there's no speedrun up on Twitch, just run through the game as fast as you can, doesn't matter if there's no speed tech, and then try to make it faster, and then it's a speedrun. Grats.

I've never seen a race of multiple games at the same time, they probably won't be the same length, so that's not gonna work for that.

That's exactly what I'm doing. SCXCR helped me with the tutorial level skip, but from there I've just been refining the route. So far, so good, but still not sure on the time estimate. Going to give it a few more runs before I submit it.

Unfortunately you are correct. After talking with SCXCR, who is running Ninjabread Man, Anubis 2 not only has an extra level but also bonus levels inbetween. Furthermore, Ninjabread Man also has a level skip that doesn't work in Anubis.
That's not to say we couldn't have a triathlon with the Data Design games someday...
Can't wait for this marathon. Espescially with Anubis II and Ninjabread Man being on the block. (For those wondering, I submitted Pocketbike Racer and New Super Chick Sisters)
At the moment, we are tipping around 30 hours, which is more than respectable for the moment, further considering how long we have to go with submissions.
There are also no games that I can see that absolutely need to get cut at the moment - silly things like 10 hour games, all the submissions have been really good. So that's...good!
I still haven't submitted Anubis II yet, mostly due to me not knowing the time estimate as I'm still nailing down a few things on the route. I'll try to get that together soon and submit.
Alright just a heads up on my Guise of the Wolf Submission
Basically the game was released completely broken, and the devs just released an update to fix resolution and memory crashes......but now you cant choose dialogue options for the second NPC for some reason so it is impossible to get past the first 3 minutes of the run.
I emailed the "devs" about this so hopefully they adress it, but until then the game is unplayable and I'm unable to practice.
We have dates in mind for this? I gotta put in for a day off just in case my job decides work is more important than Rambo and commentating
First post homie...

This will be an online marathon, the tentative date is in the week of April 15-23, the dates in that range will depend on everyone's availability and the amount of games we receive.
