if you dont trigger the alarm in the first level, it's pretty easy cause he doesnt shoot you. and is walking his route, on the right side...

and what health did you have left? I gat a 404 File not found on the filefront link Huh?

im about to redo level 1 and 2.
im not satisfied with the result yet.

everytime you try the level the timer counts.
lets say you do 6 try's, without loading the level. The 7th try you record iwthout quitting the level once. every try is approx 1 minute. total time displayed would be around 7 minutes.
im not sure if it adds to that time if you load the level from the savegames menu. but it doesnt look like. im going to time my 2 runs and check if the time is correct.

and by the way the timer in the upper right corner always starts by 3 seconds.

and the link works now. no idea what was wrong Huh?

Usually when I mess up, I just load from the auto saves.. It's never screwed up timing on mine.

yeah i tested a bit. If you reload the level the timer starts by Zero.
i have now disabled the timer in the upper right corner for fairness sake.

if you watched level2 you might have seen that i have less health (55 instead of 84/5) thats cause i messed up my savegames... so i had to track down some health which came out quite good.

well as i said its sometimes pure luck.
and it doesnt get easier... these stupid elite chicks are a pain in the ass. I dont know how many times they killed me by now. but i must have been A LOT!

maybe i can get the next level done by tomorrow, but to be honest im not sure. i have a job too and loads of work once again. Angry

anyway if you dont have the time i'm going to finish this run by myself. If you or anyone else have Hints, tricks or tipps i would really appreciate (sp?) that.

im going to update the post before time by time and add all the levels to it so they are not flying all over the thread.

level 7 & 8 done.

the next levels will probably have to wait till next week. I dont have much time (i hate working sometimes) and i have other stuff to take care of.

anyway the last 2 levels arent as good as they could be. but i really dont have the motivation to fight through Elite Chicks anymore... i hope you enjoy them anyway.

Comments:

level 9 Forest:
pretty boring level cause you have to wait for the truck. Better bunnyhopping would save some time. but the level end appears exactly after 3:01 minutes so there is no way you can get that time down...

level 10 Rocket base:
This Level is almost "mistake free". I lose a lot of health after i blowed up the rocket. I fill up at the storage room and try not to get hit till the end of the level which turned out pretty good. I need A LOT of health in the next level...

level 11 Radar Installation:
This Level was a pain in the ass. I had to find a way to get through the walls of enemy. Its pretty much luck and to know where to jump. If you are too much to the left, you'll die because of the rockt launcher. Too much to the right and you'll jump right into the crates. The rest of the level is pretty much "run n' gun".

level 12 Air Base Assault:
Another easy level (one of the few). The beginning is straight bunnyhopping to the switch to lower the gate. i sniper some enemys till its down. after that i kill 3 guys. Then the sniper hits me. I didnt know where he was. i tried two times and got shot down to 47 HP. I needed to take cover, 1 more hit and i would have been dead.
after that its again run and gun down everything.
I only have to hit the switches in the right order and im good.
Messed up bunnyhopping in the beginning... maybe i'll do this level again.

level 13 Kugelstadt:
This is pretty easy level. The only problems are the 2 flamethrower guys. A well aimed rocket and they are no problem anymore ^^.
In This level you just have to kill everything fast.

level 14 The Bombed Factory:
Mostly avoiding fire fights and snipe down all enemys. They do way too much damage with theyr Paratrooper rifles.

level 15 The Trainyards:
This level is harder then it might seem. If you mess up the jump between the trains, there is a good chance that you get a rocket in your ass. I got lucky and didnt get a rocket.
Inside The Building its pretty easy cause there is mostly close combat and only 7 enemys which shoot at you.

level 16 Secret Weapons Facility:
OMG this level was extremly annoying. These 2 Stupid mutants do way tooooo much damage. You only have 4 rockets for 3 mutants. The last 2 take two rockets each. So i have to kill 1 mutant with the Venom. Risky undertaking, but the mutant rolled into the corner and made it easy to kill him. the other 1 was busy with the Professor and was simple cannon fodder.
Only real mistakes are the missed crate jump. And in the U-Boat pen the senseless shooting at barrels >.<...

PS: i feel somewhat alone in this thread Roll Eyes

They will take some more time, cause some of them are damn hard (Xlabs for example). More of this damn electro mutants.

If i can find someone with decent upload speed i will submit it... otherwise im not sure.

yeah only problem is a 1 HQ file would upload about 1 1/2 Hours!!!! (for me it takes that long)

When I was uploading Doom3 it took near 8 hours or so.

Ok first of all only 4 levels to go! I wanted to give you guys 1 more level today, but it needs some more tweaking. Espacially the two Super Soldiers need a working taktik.

Comments:

Ice Station Norway:
A lot of bunny hopping, dodging enemys and not to get hit in the beginning.
In the small Control-House where i have to hit the red button i miss it the first time. Not much of a mistake.
The last room is tricky. In may practice runs i rushed in there and was almost "Insta-Fragged" after i get out of the room with the Flak-Jacket. I changed my strategie somewhat and as you see it worked. Grin

X-Labs:
This was the Level i have feared. I really thought that this is the level that would stop my run.
Tons of "Super Soldiers" with miniguns, rocketlaunchers and Teslaguns. Nothing to be happy about.
After 1 simply practice run my fear was thrown out of the window. It was pretty easy in terms of enemy killing. The route was taken from Fu3l3ds run, cause its simply the best.
Anyway, i did this level carefull as you may see.
Not much mistakes except the "hanging on corners". One time i take the wrong way (after the "Super Soldier" with the mingun after the water) and 2 seconds later i start shooting at the corner. I do that because there is 95% of the time a Tesla freak which is looking at the corner. But Exactly this time hes behind the table after the next door.
Rest of the level is pretty easy, cause the other supersoldier dont shoot much at you.

Super Soldier:
First "Super Soldier" is easy to kill. They are to stupid to walk around a corner. You can kill them easily (sp?) when you dont see theyr gun. It's a fact that, when the gun doesnt "see" you, they simply dont shoot.
The second 1 didnt allow this tactic. So i had to find another way. So i jumped down the stair and shoot him.
The boss was a though one. First i used the same tactic as by the first "Super Soldier". Didnt work, because he was too fast around corners and the tesla does a hell lot of damage. I needed to slow him down, thats why i shoot at him with the rockets first. After that i could easily (sp?) kill him with the Venom.

Bramburg dam:
Most important thing to me was to do the Shortcut here. You (basically) only have to jump from rail to rail. Only Problem: My Wolfenstein crashed ALL the time i failed to do the jump and landed in the water. It cut my practice in half.
You might see that i mess up real bad there. To be honest, i just hoped i get over by the second try. Another problem is the "kickback" of the weapons when they hit you. During practice i got hit more than once when i got the jump done and got "kickbacked" into doom.
Rest of the level is (once more) shoot everything that is blocking you.

Paderborn Village:
The second "stealth" level in this game. I only use the silenced weapons, otherwise i would have triggered the alarm.
Only thing to take care of in this level: Kill Everything Fast.

Chateau Schufstaffel:
The Teslagun is damn useful in this level. It can kill multiple enemys at once which is good, because of the "kill everything to open door" trigger.
In the beginning of the level i do stealth. Its more usefull, since not the whole level will be alerted.
No real mistakes here.
