I think i gonna put them together to 7 files. 1 file for each chapter. Easier to upload and to download. And i decided to burn the HQ on CD and mail it. Even if it may take longer i still have no one to upload the HQ stuff....
I'm not sure if i upload the last videos. But probably not cause i have redone a few levels. If i find the time to mail Radix you get every level after i uploaded that stuff.
Click on the D/L link and you get a "status screen" from the file. There click on "DOWNLOAD NOW"
Choose a server, by clicking "download" on the right side and wait a shitload of time in the queue. After that a noise-thingy should play when your D/L's ready. Then simply click on the D/L link..
Yeah, it ONLY works in überlame IE (at least for me). Best is you stay at the pc while because it forces you to click several times on a link to "answer" obvious questions (do you want to enter line... no I don't want to, I was just kidding... click to download file, I could autostart, but I rather give you 5min until you gotta wait again)
the reason is that i saw two perfectly good speedruns for my one of my favourite games and for some reason neither made it to the front page, which is a shame, and should not take too long to fix should it
I was thinking about improving Insane's Hard run as a next project after I'm done with Serious Sam 2, but I have no idea when that could be. His run is very good, but not perfect and it's also not on SDA for some unknown reason. I only tested first level so far and I managed to improve it by 4 seconds or so.
To answer mieTK's question: I haven't seen a message from InsaneB4st4rd for a couple years, so I don't think his run will ever be on SDA.
Well I'm certainly still alive... My live just took a turn to the worse back then, so I didnt really have the time nor motivation to post here. :/
Why my run isnt up? Well my harddrive got blown to bits so the last run isn't around anymore (only 3 or 4 fraps files...). I uploaded the older run on youtube for those of you who want to watch it (it's fucking horible....). I'm pretty sure my runs were not perfect and if someone with a bit more skill and patience comes along they are obsolete anyway.
If anyone is bothering with running this game just toss me a PM if you need some help.
Also I would really be happy if someone finally gets a run of RtCW up here.
Sorry for bumping this old topic, but I've been trying to get the high-res (640x480) videos of FU3L3D's run for a while now, but nowhere seems to host them anymore. I actually tried emailing him a few days ago but didn't get a reply.
So, does anyone have the high-res videos to upload or somehow send me a copy?
