I decided to work on the "100% route" a bit and something that should be done first is getting the ctos towers. I would advice waiting on the closest tower to the motel because u can use the motel as a quick travel. Also for criminal convoys a relatively easy and quick way to do the mission is to drove close to the target, shoot the driver or wheel of the car the target is in, takedown the target when he gets out and then drove a way
Wake up and be awesome
The problem with 100% is is that 20% or so is online stuff like races and hacking. Not to mention the 40 fixer contracts and the damn drinking games. All collectibles sounds reasonable like all QR codes, and privacy invasions
Oh ya no online is fine. Also is 100 percent doing everything on the progression wheel or doing completely everything because for something like cash run u only need to get gold once to get it checked of on the progression wheel
Wake up and be awesome
When going for 100%, usually runners go by in game 100% definition which Watch Dogs has. Since not everything is required for 100%, only doing the stuff that's required is all you need. So offline 100% or All Collectibles would make valid categories for Watch Dogs runs
Ok thanks. Criminal convoys should  done before the fixer contracts and gang hideouts because you can get the destroyer which makes parts of both of these easier. Also for the drinking game I find it best to just nudge the pointer a bit at a time
For the collectibles where you have to hack into a camera just leave right after hacking into it. For the hotspots just get the hotspot then leave and you can quit out right away. Also I don't understand how to clear out the poker table for poker
So there's a way to teleport to places in this game with the Cash Run editor. Here's how to do it:

Creating Teleportation Points
1.    Open your smartphone, go to the Cash Run Challenges app > Create.
2.    Place the start point in the exact place you want to be able to teleport to later.
3.    Place two normal coins around the start point so that you can play the level later.
4.    Go to Publish and Options > Save. Name the challenge and then save it.
5.    Exit the editor by going to Publish and Options > Exit Editor.

Teleporting to Points
1.    Open your smartphone, go to the Cash Run Challenges app > My challenges.
2.    Select the point you would like to teleport to and press Test.
3.    Open the Cash Run menu (smartphone button), then exit the challenge. You will be at your teleportation point.

A major downside is that you have to actually go to the location that you want to teleport to. It is required for you to be at the location to set up the custom Cash Run challenge. You also can't create Cash Run challenges during missions, phone conversations, or news reports. But you can create them while driving. Unfortunately, the vehicle doesn't teleport along with you if you do the warp. Obviously, you can't use the Cash Run Challenges app during missions either.

Major testing is needed for this new strat to see where we can save the most time. I don't know if there's a limit to the amount of teleportation points, but I managed to create at least 15 (you can delete some if you want).

For those fixer missions where you have to hack the guys' data, you can just snipe them from far away. Then drive up to to them to initiate the hack.

Also, You can teleport to the vehicle in any fixer mission where they give you one if you restart the mission (only do it at the start of the mission and not in the middle).

Bad Blood DLC is coming out very soon so I don't know if anyone wants to route that. I'm undecided on that.
I've thought about a few places where you can set up and use the teleports.
-Right before entering Brandon Docks ctOS Control Center: Setup for later teleports
-Before A2M4 at the mission starter: Setup for teleport after A2M4
-Immediately after A2M4 completion: Setup for teleport after A2M15 if you can kill the fixers in the firetruck very quickly

A big problem is that phone calls will not allow you to use the Cash Run Challenges app. I found 2 ways to prevent them:
1. Make someone call the cops on you. Make sure to use a Jam Com before the scan starts.
2. Open up the Cash Run Challenge before the phone call starts. Then drive to the next location with the app still up. You can't fast travel while using the app, so keep that in mind.

It seems like they fixed the A2M8 (Not a Job For Tyrone) skip in the latest patch. The glitch didn't work when I did the same things as before. But I tried it again with the previous patch files, and it worked. I recommend the people on PC to keep the old patch files in case some things get patched out. Also keep the new ones as a backup. Don't know if you people on console can revert to a previous patch, so you might be screwed there. However, the other glitch that Slayer found still works.

And here's an overview of the places where you could use the teleport trick:

Way to A1 Cemetery(Create Warp Point) > A4M8 (Make it further away from the cemetery so the mission doesn't spawn in the wrong place)
Way to A1 Cemetery(Create Warp Point) > After A2M15 to Move Closer to Act 3 (Kill People in Firetruck Early) - Not sure if time save here
After A2M1 (Create Warp Point Near Bike Under Bridge) > A4M6
Way to BD ctOS CC (Create Warp Point) > A2M12
Near A2M4 Start (Create Warp Point) > A2M5 (Damien Phone Call Problem Here)
Near A2M6 Start (Create Warp Point) > A3M6
Near A2M6, Wards ctOS, A2M8 (Create Warp Point) > A2M14 (Not sure if time save)
Way to A2M8, A2M14 (Create Warp Point) > A2M15 (Phone Call might nullify it)
After MM ctOS (Create Warp Point) > A4M2
After MM ctOS (Create Warp Point) > A4M7 (Saves over 1 Minute!)
It turns out that the custom Cash Run Challenges can actually carry over through different save files. That means they won't delete themselves if you start a new game. So make sure you delete them if you are just starting from NG. A NG+ category will allow you to keep the old custom Cash Run Challenges, so you won't have to create them during the run.
How much time would doing these teleports save if done well?
Also for the NG+ should people be allowed to make a teleportation point at every mission
I don't know how much time is saved because I haven't timed it. But I guess it would be at least 3 minutes. Some of the teleports like the A4M6 to A4M7 one can save over a minute because you teleport from Pawnee to the Merlaut.

You can make the teleportation points anywhere you want for NG+. Just make the teleport points in one run and then start a new game. Those teleport points should still be there.
In A1M8, a short time save is to, right after you start and restart the mission, steal a car and drive around to the side of the place where you leave after hacking Helena tuccis phone. Make sure you don't go on the sidewalk while driving or else there would be a mission restart. Another time save in this mission is to throw a grenade at the cars.
I did a play through of the watch dogs dlc and there are a couple of things that can make it an "easier" game to speedrun. Since it's the dlc it's a lot shorter than the actual game. My first play through was around 3-4 hours and it was pretty casual with a couple of deaths. Also you already have a lot of skills in the beginning of the game like stealth sprint and black out, meaning that not as many skill points have to be used on skills. You also have all or most of the quick travel points through out the map so getting to missions is faster.
I've also played the Bad Blood DLC. The good thing is that you don't have to wait a few minutes at the start for every new game. The intro is much shorter than the main game. It might be possible to beat the DLC under one hour due to how short it is.

A1M3 of the DLC is where I managed to go OOB by loading the autosave in the elevator. The elevator wasn't there after the reload. Instead of the elevator, there was a void there. But this is something I only managed to get once.
Here's a possible strat for A2M2 of the DLC that Slayer found some time ago. Not sure if it saves any time:

But I don't know if you can get on the ship from the lower level. You could just reload the autosave again after killing the enemies.

We also have a leaderboard for this game now at http://www.speedrun.com/Watch_Dogs/  if you want to submit some runs.
Strat for the first half of A1M1 of the dlc (before t-bone goes to sleep). In the beginning hop onto the lift and then hack it, then get to the ladder. After getting off the ladder hack into the room and kill the two guards right away. Then go up the stairs, hack the door to lock down the room, then go on down the hallway to the two guards. Kill them and turn right to the gaurs at the end of the next hallway. After killing him, steal his gun which should be an assault rifle then go to the elevator and kill the person in the elevator. (You could pick up his gun but it could just be an inconvenience because you have to switch back to the silenced pistol.)  Look up at the place where you leave the elevator and hit the climb button. Hack into the door and kill the guard that's right in front of you with the silenced pistol and run up the stairs behind the guard on the stairs. (If this goes right, you shouldn't be noticed at all and you can get into the door without the three guards blocking the path.)
When you get into the room with the cutscene you have to do the hacker puzzle. After doing the puzzle hop out the window and kill the two guards on the platform lower then you a second or two after they spawn. You have to kill them because they will make the train going towards the base spawn also killing them right when they spawn will not have the train spawn. You do want to kill them quickly however or else the train going away from the base will block your shot at them. After you see the train going towards the base coming, wait for the second train car to go past you to get on. This should cause the fixers to loose track of you. You can just walk to the front of the train and the fixers should loose track of you. When the train stops at the stop get off the train and find a car near the station. When you get a car, follow the train the tracks to a bit after it turns. Turn right to the highway and just go to your base. Take your car to the stairs up to your base. This car is used for the next part of the mission.
In the beginning of the final mission of the dlc. Instead of going down and fighting the bad guys you can just take a car al the way to where the train car is and there should be a flower pot take the car to get up to that pot and then fall down on a container that should be right below you. Then go into the train car.
I tested the restart mission thing for the Bad Blood DLC. It is faster to do it for these missions:
A1M3(Needs of the Few)
A2M1(Bait)
A2M3(Bad Medicine)
A2M4(Connections)
A3M1(Ghosts)
A3M2(Hold the Line)
A3M3(The Verdict)

The new strats need to be incorporated into a full run. And it would be nice to have another run that challenges the current WR. With that being said, I might do some speedruns of this game soon. But I will need to practice the strats first. The DLC still needs to be fully routed so that will have to wait.
Wake up and be awesome
I'd love to get back into this game, the only problem is not having the ability to replay missions. It's so FUCKING annoying. plus the WR is just under 4 hours, and I usually don't have enough free time to put in enough serious attempts. Might try my hand at the DLC though. Haven't gotten it yet, but from I've heard, it's relatively short.

I've been trying to find strats for this game, but haven't come up with even one single driving route Sad

I'll have to look into that Lighthouse glitch Pewable posted a while ago. If I can get it to work, you might be able to go straight to the lighthouse in Act 5, making an already short Act even shorter
If you do that, try bringing a bike with you or something, I really doubt there is a way to clip the door with the character himself. I think I didn't upload everything I had on this game but oh well. I am sure we can find way more stuff by mixing the solo and the multiplayer sometimes during the game to skip things etc. But I know nobody with a PS4 and the game so it's a pain and I can try nothing.
While trying to improve strats, always remember that explosives can be used to kill groups of enemies faster.

In the dlc on a1m3, I would say getting a motorcycle before starting the mission and using it to get onto the train tracks would be the fastest way to get to the main part of the mission. That being said the restart strat suggested be random may despawn the motorcycle so one may have to find a new motorcycle which  may cost a lot of extra time
I don't think that the train tracks would be faster in A1M3 DLC. The road should be faster because you won't have to go out your way to get to the train tracks. But I should probably time the routes.

You can prevent the door of the elevator in T-bone's main hideout from closing. I only managed to do it a few times, but it involves activating the switch and moving back towards the door. However, the door will still close and push you back most of the time. Don't know if it's worth the trouble of losing time, but it can save a few seconds. Also be careful of falling down because you can kill yourself from that height.
I looked at the map again and taking the road is a shorter distance so the restart will be faster than not restarting especially since it spawns you next to the door. In the same mission, just running past the lasers and the guards after the blackout should be good. Before you enter the building you should go around to the train station and there should be a stack of crates climb on that, kill the guards in the way of the door and enter the building.
