I found a ton of tech tonight. I found an OoB skip for (most of) the prison gauntlet, an OoB for the ENTIRE research lab gauntlet (a huge skip), and a BOSS SKIP (gasp!). I found a ton of other small things but these were the highlights of today.

A huge level skip which includes skipping a boss! This is the area right after finishing the research lab (after mecha pon). I'm sorry for the length, but I only got to do it once tonight so I was figuring it out as I went along!

Tomorrow I plan to put it all together along with some skips I've seen here into a run and commentate throughout.

So, I give up. Where is the last (bottom-most) Beacon Run in the game world? I finished a playthrough with 97.5% Item Completion and I want to be able to play that last Beacon Run damnit! All the upgrades, all the items, all the costumes, most of the art/story, all the survival, but UGH that Beacon Run.

Hm, I have 100%, but I don't know where you don't have 100% so can't really help you. Nice skips Sainiku even if we don't care about these areas anymore. You can also have a larger oob for the prison (but we have to be sure to open the "door" first) ... I will upload a video later.

I'm gonna end up starting a playthrough on Easy since I haven't even tried it yet, and find everything again, because it's gone from "minor annoyance" to "pissing me off".

There's nothing, Game FAQs has shit. Not even user reviews and stuff, let alone FAQs or Maps. I was missing stuff in the Underground I think, and like two other areas that I had combed through from top to bottom with every ability unlocked and still sat at like 94% in those areas. I just gave up in frustration and finished the game since there was no place to check I hadn't already checked and nothing I wasn't going to suddenly notice that I didn't the first 5 times.

Hey hey people, I'll put a run with a lot of Oobs and skips people gave to us (some of thems were already used by myself, like the balrog or market one), but I couldn't stream it yesterday, so I'll stream (now) the actual run we can have with that !

Oh? Did we figure out how to make the early balrog viable? Last I heard we needed the purple cypher because of the purple shield enemy at the last elevator.

Its possible to get inside the Balrog early , but not like I showed on my last video because of that reason.
Buuut , I found the way to get the Purple Cypher early by getting the dash with the OoB method ( I did a video of it ) then the normal route and go back to that save room , oob again and go over the Gravitron ( you have to wait until he load before.)
Go to the right and fall , go back on the map by clipping the "dash door" and go the left , you will be able to fight Jurong just after getting the Dash!
That's the method I , Pewable and Campy are currently using Tongue

Miles, getting the Plasma Cypher early would make me really happy. Not for any logical reason, but because it's the Wave Beam of this game and it gives me boners. Depending on how early we are talking it could be useful on the first visit to Military Headquarters, since going through the Plasma Kunai room would save time compared to the lower route and that upgrade is also sweet.

About missing items... still 96% in the Underground AND I did find the bastard one hidden beneath the lava triggered by two barely visible "switches" that are Downstrike breakables. There isn't an item hidden in the first Gravitron fight room right? I didn't explore the whole circle and can't get back in.

there's so many skips now and its confusing me Sad

although, getting oob itself isn't actually too bad. just takes a little time.

also, can someone please find a meio's tower skip? this is the most infuriating part of the game by far.

The most infuriating part of the game is the fact that the Prison Gauntlet exists. And that it resets instantly after you beat it. And that there's no fast way back down to the other areas without doing it again. And that there are booby trap asshole plasma rings that if you accidentally touch one will end up back up to the Prison to be forced to run the Gauntlet again. No confirmation, no second chance, just a single tiny mistake costing at least 3 minutes depending on where you were. Compared to that shit, Meio's tower is like a back rub and a foot massage.

Thanks for watching and followings. Lots of credits to people who found the OoB, and skips ! I'll put some highlights with the known founder too.

Sub 1h isn't a dream anymore. But RTA will be the only thing useful from now I think, cause deaths aren't in the IGT so ...

Actually for this practice, IGT 1:09:13 ; RTA 1:35:17, with every mistake I did (lord these traps, i'm tired)

Thanks for posting videos of these. I'm currently playing this on PS4 trying to get some top times. I think 31.46 is the top time for smoke stack on PS4 too.

Got 31 seconds on Golden Bridge Beacon Run, 1.5 seconds faster than the next best time. Anyone have better on a console? I'm fairly certain I can get it below 31, but not much.

Yeah I'd like to see a run that fast. Best time for Golden Bridge on PS4 is 32.13.

Anyone have a suggestion for a free recording program? fraps is limited to 30 seconds unless I pay 37$ (no thanks) just recorded a 31.57 run with it, but not very useful with only 30 seconds of footage.
