That sounds a bit strange to me. I mean, a 9 minutes difference between an Easy and Normal run is a bit too much Smiley

The 29:55 I mentioned was single-segment and contained some bigger mistakes, so a segmented run is obviously quite a bit faster. But still, 25 minutes? I guess you know of some trick(s) that I'm not aware of. So yes please, make a new run and upload it Wink

Anyway, here's Part 2. Again Fraps did NOT cut off for some reason when I got in the outside snowy part...
And yes I also included the Gas Mask room, just to show how to get through it Wink

My personal record is 25:32:) on Easy, without picking up the gas mask, and some shortcuts:)

btw Your's Philips jumps are longer than normal:P You edited character stats file?:P but for fun i did it and my Philips jumps like Yours:P

I'm using MPC(Media Player Classic) form K-Lite Codec Pack:)

I know how to save something about two minutes... but it's hard:/ In this room when You have to place dog on monument, this wall behind it have a bug, You can jump through it (i did it two times but now i can't:( i don't know where is that empty "space")

This trick with flying on objects is very good(probably it can be used in kennels to pass corridor when You turn off the light - but you need small object and you can't hit the ceiling and floor i tried but i touched the floor and "something" killed me:P) i will use it in the outdoor and cave level:)

Thnx for showing me this trick:)and really philip can fly:D My notebook will feel a lot of pain:D i think i'll give him an aspirine or 100ml of vodka:D

You mean in the mental levels (Where you automatically get to from the Sewers)? Those levels are entirely skipped by flying with an item over the water part in the Sewers Smiley

Hmm, you weren't aware of flying over the water part to skip the Mental Realm levels? Then how did you ever get 25:32? Grin

Did you get the 25:32 from the in-game time shown at the end of the game?

I've checked the wall in the "put dog on monument" part, I wasn't able to get through the wall. Maybe an item is needed to push you through it, or something?

I also checked the item flying through those dark corridors, doesn't seem possible, you'll always die no matter what.

You know, I actually thought about something which I haven't been checking much yet... It's the trick from ZeRo to put a plank in a 45 degree angle against a wall and then go through the ceiling. Though there aren't that many planks around, but maybe you can also put a moveable shelf (Or however that thing is called) in a 45 degree against the wall in the laboratory after the Hivemind Challanges to get immediately to the last room with the computer Smiley

I did find something else though, to speed up the third Hivemind Challange. You can position the little pushable block next to (But not entirely against) a lower wall part, and then you need to jump on the block and then run and mash jump and you can get on the wall. Saves a bit of time Smiley

You know, I was just watching back those videos I made and I suddenly wondered about something. Why the hell am I grabbing the Soda can? We don't even use it Grin

Watch the video Part 1 Wink

Grab the brick next to the soda machine, take it into the ventilation shaft, and press the brick horizontally against the wall and put it underneath the steamhole. Move past the steam while still holding the brick against the steamhole.

I wanted to mention 2 things.

First, in the "Cells" level in the beginning of the game I found something unusual. You can grab the box next to the Alcohol on the shelf and throw that against the fuse box, if done correctly the powercord inside will break, which is pretty funky.

Second, I finally tried ZD Soft Game Recorder, and it was utter crap. In fact, it didn't even start recording for me no matter how much I abused the recording key, heh. I couldn't find any kind of option that could possibly disable the recording function somehow. Everything was set up fine (Or so it seemed) so I've got no idea why it didn't work (Taking screenshots worked by the way).

EDIT: Also, ZD Soft Game Recorder made the game very dark (While I've got my in-game settings very bright).

EDIT: Finally I'm finished writing about Residential Corridors... Was a bit "tougher" to write about since it's a bigger place and you'll visit it several times and I wanted to pack it all into one section on the page. But I think I managed Smiley

Cool clipping stuff.

After the sewers you normally need to get the gas mask (Right-top of the map) and then to the bottom of the map to retrieve the hand, then left-top, then left-bottom, then middle-top Smiley

Getting the gas mask can be skipped on the lowest difficulty. So if you can clip through the middle-top that would be pretty darn neat.

You mean the door with the eye/hand scanner? I can definitely get through that but it wont help since there's no load zone behind it. I can save time in the infirmary using clipping though. Clip through door using a black box, get head, clip out using a chair, save 30 seconds easily. It's also possible to clip through the locked infirmary door but unfortunately there's no way to get out after doing so. If there was anything on the other side of the door the computer room could be skipped completely Sad

As for the clips in the video, I doubt they'll ever be used in a run. The first one might be used but it doesn't save a whole lot of time. The other two would both have to be used in one segment and the latter is incredibly difficult to do.

Also, I found my good segment 1 of Overture.
