I didn't notice this thread before, immediately downloaded your videos and must say... lol. But I must say, you're playing a little unfair, at least give the cpu a chance to spawn the enemies
The rate you're pumping out these videos both encourage and frighten me to a limited extent. How much practice do you allow yourself before you start tackling the stages? The three videos I downloaded looked incredibly promising, mind you, but are you just so experienced with the game that you already know the monster spawns by heart, have you been practicing for weeks before starting the thread, or are the videos you providing us merely your practice ones, and your real run isn't going to come about for just a bit longer?
I love the Asylum stage for just how brilliant it is (Along with the rest of the game) and I'm very excited to see just how you intend to tackle chapter five which had just absolutely maddening stages at times.
I've been playing this game as long as it has been available and finished it on every skilllevel so I have somekind of touch to this game I practise about 10 times each level so I start to remeber the monter spawns and then start recording. And I might do multiple recorded runs if the first doesn't look good. But still the final videos aren't flawless
I'm not saying that I'm the best, I might not even be good but I do this because no one else hasn't and I just love this game. Maybe this is just finding my own limits.

My god. You made it look absolutely morbid. My jaw was literally slacking, I was so disturbed. Congratulations on slaughtering those lepers with such prejudice.
....... And that folks, is why it's my favorite level in the game.

Someone has to set the bar in the first place, so it's good! IMO speedrunning is a sport! A challenge!
Anyway, amazing run. Just, amazing! It's in nightmare difficulty, to boot! Great job, this still surely be a great addition to SDA.
A little status report... C2L4 snowy bridge finished in 9.51/8.20
Once again I'm not uploading these because the sizes are 275/248mb. A bit too much for my ISDN (Anyway, I still decided to upload <100mb videos with my crappy connection ;D)
Nice work. I find the ice floor section of the snowy bridge just about the hardest section of the game. Really impressive times. I'm looking forward to seeing the run above any other now Keep it coming.
Filefactory seems nice because they accept files up to 500megs. All these fileserversites are new to me because I haven't needed to use them before this speedrun project :-[. So thanks for the info
It's good that there are other people who are interested in doing a PK+BooH speedrun, because I ain't no pro, and there are much better runs than mine. I hope I get to see kalme's run
Your link to C2L6 is borked, apparently. Also, I can't seem to use your filefactory uploads. Whenever I sit through the loading time and click on the 'download movie' link, I keep getting 'Forbidden' error messages. Any chance you could put them all on rapidshare, or maybe have someone else host them?
There are 24 levels (23 available on this skill level). I'm currently doing the 14th level. No cards video finished in 11:04. Maybe I can get 10:00-10:30 when using tarot, but this level is tough, the toughest yet, but if I got through without the aid of tarot cards, I can surely get through when using them
