nice this 31min isn't that far away as you can see ;p I've got myself sub 43 run (ugly as &*%) with default robe since i don't own any dlcs and this should go around 35mins as well Wink

maybe this weekend i'll be able to stream some who knows Smiley

I've been working on some new Magicka strats and got a 36:49 with a lot of room for improvement. Pretty much all the old tricks still work, but the fights strats needed alot of change with the newer abilities and various nerfs.

Hopefully what I am doing (or trying to do as is often the case) is clear from the video (and my previous trick videos), but ask if you don't understand anything.

dahell this game is broken, nice run. I just wonder how did you do the quick kill on chapter 12 i cant get this corporealize to work is it just precise timing or it's something more into it?

You need to go to about where I stand, freeze yourself, then cast 4 teleports upwards. Then quickly cast corporealize (nothing will happen immediately), then use the teleport staff. This queues up corporealize to be cast as soon as the cutscene starts. You have to cast all of these quite quickly since the game is constantly trying to push you back inbounds.

ah I thought it may have something to do with the staff, this is defo nice find no idea how you figured it but sounds quite crazy Wink

Just coming back from vacation, look at all of these things I have to learn! Should be fun, thanks for the stuff, sock.

EDIT: Okay, here are a few questions.

Aristocrats: How do you manage to beat him with the ice-rock shield? Whenever I touch him with it, he just gets knocked down and takes no damage.
Vlad 2/Grimnir 2 Skip: I can't figure out why, but on occasion, when I cast cold on myself, it removes the wet status and just makes me slow. I'm pretty sure it's not the Aristo Staff, because it happened when I wasn't using it as well.
Assatur quickkill: So I've practiced this many times and Death has appeared in 5 different places (left, right, down-left, down-right, down). I've managed to get the quickkill in four of those five places, but does anyone know if it's possible to get the quickkill when Death appears below you?

You need the CS dagger to do damage with the ice rock shield, as well as haste on. For the skip, you are probably in Vlad's immunity aura and the water doesn't apply. I guess I'm not really sure about the Assatur thing, but afaik it always works as long as you summon him close enough to the edge (and run off).

hm.. i'm still trying to get this vlad2 skip and i'm getting to Grimnir cutscene but the corporealize doesn't cast at all, Sad

i do 4 teleports then corporealize and another teleport with the staff with enough luck i find myself inside cutscene trigger, but the corporealize doesn't happen... :| am i doing something wrong there?

Hello, found the thread after looking into Magicka runners on twitch. Glad I was able to help sockfolder with the ice armor ramming which seems pretty broken IMO. Originally I found it on steam community hub guide.,

Love the game and always looking for ways to break it. Keep and eye out for me in twitch chat and, I am looking forward to Wizard Wars.

ok so i've found a way to skip river fight in chapter 2 with one boost, video incoming Wink

with better positioning it may be possible to get into the end map trigger i believe.
