Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters

I've been improving my time by a lot since I started doing this game. My first time was 2:14 now it's down to 1:26. I'm getting better and better and hopefully I'll do more runs and practice of this game

Crash Twinsanity(100%)

I've been recently practicing first levels of the game. I've managed to find some new stuff and even made skip consistent. Hopefully I'll manage to practice rest of the game
Quote from KanBan85:
Braid - J My goal is to break WR by March 2014 and I know I can do it with current strategies. I am also working on a new start for one of the levels which is currently better (but a tad risky) than current WR strats.
[...]
I will also start to brush up "Another Perspective" after March I think.

Haha please do it so I can train harder :p I'd love to see you being WR holder Smiley
Electronic Super Joy

The run has moved forward, my PB atm is 36:34. I'm able to shave of minutes if I just stop screwing around in easy parts. The run is really short, so long sessions with lots of runs can be done.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time

I literally just got a PB of 6:18:20 (WR is 6:16:20 by SerSanju) and I'm so hyped about this run (This was my second run). The game is kinda longish, but it's a good game to run because it has so much variety so it doesn't get stale (atleast for me). I will continue running this game whenever I have a chance to do a full run

I spend most of my time on Smash Bros. Melee practice Tongue But I do play Battle Kid now and then, and I will definitely make sure to be in shape when ESA comes. I recently did a 1-death run of the game, which is great. I just have to make sure I don´t get rusty but that is not likely to happen.
Saints Row 3
I played a bit today and scouted one trick that saves 4 minutes during one mission and potentially another 3 in another mission. Pretty good stuff. I will be using a new route in my next practice run that should save a few minutes over my previous route as well. Sub 4 hours RTA should definitely be possible with all this.

Beer - The last Eichhof
Currently testing different weapon set-ups for faster boss killing and move pattern to avoid possible deaths.
UPDATE - 11.02.14
www.twitch.tv/winkl0r/b/502599355
First upload, after that I've had better move patterns Cheesy
Videostream is a little fucked up. I have to check my streaming settings.

Hard Reset
UPDATE - 11.02.14
Without a "quick save" option, it's pain in the ass to check all possible shortcuts once you  made it around some invisible walls and some climbing sessions.
BIG FUCKING THANKS TO "inffi" for giving me the console quicksave hint <3
Made everything much easier.
Bahamut is in envy
Crash Bandicoot: I'll update this later when I'm on console. Assuming things go well, I will lower the estimate to 1:30:00.

MediEvil: New PB a few days ago. Estimate remains the same. Might show off some glitches as a bonus after the run if it gets accepted.

A Bug's Life: Nothing done yet. Will update when I get around to it.

Fallout: New Vegas: Nothing new, if game gets accetped I will update this because the runs are really consistend with reliabel RNG.
"French Hitler" - Cyberdemon531
Super Smash Bros Brawl: Trying to cut the 2h45min soon with new route for the Great Maze, better optimization for fights and choice characters. Still testing some stuff if there's any glitch/skip that I can find out.
Metroid Zero Mission (100%) - I got a new pb today, 1:13:55 (53:03 on the ingame timer). The record time is 1:12:54 by spidey-widey, although I'm not actually as close to him as it sounds, since his PB uses a gametime-focused route while mine uses an RTA-focused one. Anyway, I'm nearly happy with this run - once I improve by another few seconds I'll start practising with a slightly safer "marathon route" (which dragonfangs and I have been hashing out) instead.

I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
Ikaruga: After relearning most of my old strategies (haven't played the game for 8 years), I'm rapidly regaining shape. My best up to now is 28mill with thousands of mistakes. I can't believe how much room for improvement I have. I'll probably beat my old PB in no time and go beyond.

Clearing the game on one credit happens each time automatically. I cannot not clear it. Time to implement some crazy stuff.
Wind Waker HD: Im getting through this at a very nice pace. Ive learnt the entire route and can do up to the half point relatively quick. Now is just time for the runs :>

VVVVVV: This is the main one atm, Ive gone my terrible 54 minute PB to nearly sub 20. If i keep up the pace im going at i can most likely have a sub 15 before the end of the month.

Gunstar Heroes: This is the other main contender as i can get through all the main levels without dying which is good. Still need to practice the stupid starship level.

Wind Waker SD: Although i may have removed it from my suggestions list, i can still practice in hopes of maybe getting a master sword run in on the second stream.
The results are in
SSX 3 all freestyle golds: Practicing pretty much every day, although I've been having some trouble getting runs going because both my gamecube and game are old and worn and as a result of that the game freezes quite often. Right now I just want a good pb in under 1:15:00 showcasing monster tricks and wormholes. http://www.twitch.tv/jangbang__/c/3649899 This one saves around 2 minutes if I can get it in a run, but all wormholes are very finnicky and situational. There are 2 others right now, and one of them I can do twice.
You can never run enough games
Super Mario Galaxy: I've been learning some new strats in quite a few levels, and even though I had taken a break for a week or so, my run earlier today was still a 2:59, so I would say that I can be consistently under 3 hours soon. I will start learning Any% with luigi soon so that a donation war for character can be offered. (Original Submission time: 3:02:45, Current PB: 2:58:05, Estimate: 3:10:00)

Super Mario Galaxy 2: I am currently in the process of learning the more advanced level strategies and techniques such as the Infinite Flutter. I hope to start doing runs of this soon, probably within the next week or so. (Original submission time: 4:44:43, Current PB: 4:25:05, Estimate: 4:10:00)

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger: I learnt the current WR route, and my times are improving considerably. (Original Submission Time: 2:06:10, Current PB: 1:33:30, Estimate: 1:45:00)

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption: I was having some trouble finishing runs due to a slight crash problem, but cleaning the disc has fixed this, and I managed to get a PB run of 3:51:43. I can still improve this time and I just need to do more runs of it. (Original Submission Time: 4:03:44, Current PB: 3:51:43, Estimate: 4:00:00)

I'm aiming to do at least 1 run of each of my submitted categories per week, although 2 of each a week is possible.

Megaman X2: Drilling this game every day at the moment, managed to get PB at 44:40 and aiming to get sub 40 very soon. Beginning to practice the more advanced tricks and speeding up stage movements and slamming them hard in practice Smiley Also ordered a real SNES so will be moving my practices to that soon rather than Emu.

Light Crusader: Not got any practice into the game so far, I have no TV or the right cables to plug in my Megadrive and the Steam version has really bad controls. I am putting this on hold for a moment till I can get proper equipment and get proper pratice.. also curious about the time difference between Steam, Pal and NA versions..
First I'd like to say that I've finally got all equipment I need set so I can start streaming my runs (and thus recording them).

Nazo no Murasame Jou - I'm currently adapting to the GBA version, which had a few parts that felt different to the 3DS "upgraded" version. It's getting better though and I'm sure I'll have a WR to post soon.

Metroid Fusion - Still doing routing and practising all parts of the game. Will start doing runs when I feel more confident, like in 1-2 weeks I guess.
E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy
Got a decent run so I thought to post it here and in the submissions thread so people can see what kind of run it is. http://www.twitch.tv/saetaeaejae/c/3686173

Truljin @ Twitch
Bully: Scholarship Edition - My current WR is close to what is possible with the currently known skips and used routes, did have one attempt earlier this week which proves that one might be able to save about 1.5 more minutes in the run.

Singularity - My current WR is just so optimized and the run relies a bit on luck to save time, getting sub 1:27 will be close to impossible at this point.

Teslagrad - Tried the new route and it works quite well, have yet to do a complete run though.

Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse - No new run so far, can be improved a bit but there are no real skips or glitches in the game as of now so sub 1 hour is not possible at this time.

Beyond Good & Evil - Started practicing this, going pretty well so far, doing this in sections with subgoals and extend the goal whenever I am happy with the current one.

Stacking - A recent route change saves about 1 minute of this run, have yet to try it.

GTA V - This game was not on my list, couple of days ago there was a discussion in the GTA channel on IRC about this game where there was a genuine interest to get this game done at ESA if sub 8 can be done, Dekap can not make it to ESA and since I wanted to go back to this game at some point I decided to start again yesterday. Current progress is de-rust, did find two new timesavers for two missions and am currently looking into more missions so we should see some new strats coming up to ESA.

Quote from j4sp3rr:
* Autosaves increase loading times

I never use autosaves just for this reason.

Quote from j4sp3rr:
* PS3 loading times are slower

Not that I've noticed.

Quote from j4sp3rr:
* A LOT of softlocks(which makes the autosaves a necessity)

Never had a single softlock happen in my GTA V.

Me and DeKaP are working hard to find new timesavers, sub 8 will be possible.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch - Been running this quite a bit, only doing 100% as I find it more enjoyable then Any%, current best time is 52 minutes but can go sub 50 for sure.
Got it memorized?
Super Mario 64 Just got a 1:53:19 in 120 star down from 1:55:08
The run was kinda bad so I'm expecting 1:49 before ESA
GTA V (3-man Co-Op run by KVD, MeridianPrime & J4sp3rr) :
practised the run, improved by about an hour, current pb is 9:12 and we know we can still do alot better, getting to sub 8 as stated by lillbrorsan will be hard due
these factors:
* Autosaves increase loading times
* PS3 loading times are slower
* A LOT of softlocks(which makes the autosaves a necessity)

we are expecting atleast a 8:30 or somewhere in that neighbourhood soon enough with some more practise

Super Monkey Ball 2
I am currently playing this game 4 nights each week. I got a new PB last week (17:21) and i'm trying to sub 17 for WR, which will happen ... somehow.
And if i am going to grind another game, that would be monkey ball 1, kind of same game, so that i won't be rusty for a moment.

However i'm still not sure if i can make it to ESA yet.

Dark Forces
Because Naeglaria suggested it as a good way of measuring marathon estimates, I'm going to try this out.

The time I'm quoting is my median of genuine no reset runs + 1 standard deviation

W/E Saturday 8 Feb - 26m 41s (20 runs)
Grinded a lot of no reset this week to get a baseline.

W/E Saturday 15 Feb - 26m 35s (7 runs)
I got a new PB of 22m59s early this week. I've improved my play a lot since AGDQ so most of my time this week has been PB attempts - i'm very close to shaving ~30-40s off my new PB (wr pace) so haven't done much proper no reset.

W/E Saturday 22 Feb - no no reset runs
Due to personal life workload I've not practiced or streamed this week. Back on the horse next week :]

W/E Saturday 29 Feb/5 Mar - no no reset runs
Cut my PB down to 22m48

W/E Saturday 14th March - 25m15s (10 no reset runs)
Lots of progress this week, did a good number of no reset runs and brought my par time down. Also beat my PB and got a WR in the category - 22m13s (Live Video)
Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix (Critical Mode)
Started the de-rust process yesterday with a race to see how it would go. Up until maybe the last 1/3 of the game, I only had 1 death. Constantly working on this on emulator a few days a week and making save states to get hardcore practice in. I'll make sure my 4:18 gets destroyed soon.
Infinite Combo
Mega Man X (100%)

Keep getting consistent sub 38:10, will cut my PB of 37:42 (RTA) soon

Mega Man X3 (Low% Buster Only
Got a 1:03 something and wr is something like sub 55 which is easy at this point, gonna keep grinding this amazing category!

Kingdom Hearts II Japanese (Any%)
Learning new strats, testing on emulator , will stream practice soon.

Ninja Gaiden II
deRusting! Getting back under sub 15 again consistently, I mean I'm no Dxtr as good as he is in Ninja Gaiden 1
but Motivation is strong now.
Speedrunner from Germany
i only have to get used to the controls on VC for OoT again so i'll be working on that. main focus for now is improving no rba/ww PB on VC.

The cake is a lie
Leaf Me Alone

New PB/WR on the Best Ending category (which isn't the one I'll run at ESA) in 10:42
I should really get back to Nightsky and eventually Electronic Super Joy soon.
