I've played him I think a total of 7 times...I've tied him once and beaten him 6 times frankly he's not as hard as people say he is. Granted how BADLY you beat him depends on what he gets for stones, but it's really just forcing him to do dumb things. The AI isn't really all that smart when looked at as a whole.
penguin and monochro isn easy its luck based sometimes penguin plays so bad sometimes hes a pro and monochro u need luck cous the members that join are rndm and the times hen enterd cant fit the real time u see the 2 videos from me and animalkya? if not watch it and look at the time needet
I know my route needs lots of luck. A segmented run should be possible under 3 hours. For a single segment, I'd add another hour to account for bad luck (kunemon fight, centarumon, monochromon, seadramon, penguimon, etc). However the route is just a general guideline. As Eddalius you said, I need to determine all the exact steps to take, items, etc. to get a Garurumon + MetalSeadramon every time.
Monochromon takes 5 minutes per try for 2 PP. It doesn't take too much time even if you fail it once or twice. Penguimon should be doable in one try, yes you can have terrible luck, but it should be doable in the first try with enough practice. Of course a save before him is needed, because you can't afford to pay a fish
monochromon you don't get. He takes entirely TOO long to be of use. Penguinmon is easy, and he isn't luck based :P. He can play pro but it's more the stones he gets. It's not that hard to sneak stones in behind stones. He will always try to remove a stone from a 2pter and I've literally forced him to waste all his stones trying to move an unmoveable stone he placed with a stone I snuck in behind.
We have two different optimised routes, this is a good thing.
Also, please don't claim WR on runs that are poorly optimised. PLEASE. Drimogemon actually can give you dynamite kick, which breaks the kunemon fight in two, just saying.
Megaton Punch is also possible from Drimogemon. Though it's a slow move it's pretty good. Also again It's easy to manipulate Penguinmon without a stuck stone. Like I said it's lots easier than you think.
Pfft. I had two bad runs of monochromon's shop today. Muchomon are horrid.
I then proceeded to accidentally make two care mistakes when I was passing the time (I didn't rest enough and got tiredness). Anyone got a tip for managing tiredness well during the training days?
Eddalius, To avoid tiredness, rest two times after 6 trainings.
I've been making progress on my route. I still have to complete a couple of playthroughs to get a more exact amount of items, and trainings. So far I've made progress up half day 7. I moved Palmon to day 5, before going to drill tunnel, the rest is almost the same.
I'm still having doubts on Frigimon and Monochromon. - Moldy meat is extremely rare to find in Amida Forest, though I can try a few times if I keep getting recoveries. I have to see if it's worth to get it in Ancient dino region, or getting sick by not sleeping. - Monochromon is all about the amount of Goburimon's and Medicines you get. I'm sure that getting him on the second try is still fast enough, since he also gives extra money.
So thinking of replacements: - Angemon: It still would take a long time and resources for the fights, but we can learn Ice Statue in the way. The best moment would be right before evolving to Megaseadramon (we can only enter to Ice Sanctuary with Garurumon). - Kokatorimon: He can be reached from Freezeland, and should be an easy fight with Megaseadramon. - Vegiemon: Easy get, but we have to wait until day 15, so we risk our digimon dying and killing the run :/ - Garurumon: Shouldn't take too long if the fight times are planned correctly, and megaseadramon coud take him down in the second fight.
Any thoughts? Hopefullt I'll have my pc fixed next week and will start streaming attemps. I'd also love to watch the other routes out there
Also, is there any specific time people are looking at for the race this weekend? (I'm hoping for regular races, but that all depends on who can make it, etc.) I was thinking around 12pm my time (Which is GMT+11) or slightly earlier, maybe 10am my time.
Fox, can you regularly update your route notes if possible? As I'll be attempting to work off and develop/improve those (as both Zast and I have a bit of interest in them, due to the high optimisation).
i have a question i have problems running my game @ right speed can some 1 test how long a day needs to past without doing anithing (no feeding or poop) would be awsom
i tested it out with my route: agumon palmon kunemon normal time 9:05-- centauromon betamon bakemon normal time 16:35 and now with i think tthe right speed : 1segment: 8:30 2. Segment: 14:46 what did you think could it be the right speed now?
