Okay, so I'm thinking about a race on the weekend, anyone up for it? So far Zast and I will be giving it a go, but a few more streamers and a little more word of mouth would be cool.

There was a couple of guys streaming in the other thread, is it you any of them? My PS2 has been broken for a while, but I'm up for a race if I can get the game working in an emulator.

I have passed the 5 hours, so you record I've made mistakes that I have made about leaving Drillmon without taking ... hopefully reduce the time to 3 hours or so, the video sampling as pasarmelo them in 5 hours and a few minutes. Until Ogremon is perfectly captured the route, and then not so bad worth watching, however, if you follow this route I have, probably tardeis between 4 and 5 hours to pass the game, but time have fun real can be reduced to three hours as I said earlier

TBH Foxtreme, your run is definitely possible but needs a lot of luck. Also, I think that 6 hours isn't what I'd classify as a world record as it isn't close to optimal.

Emulator is fine Foxtreme, you just need to stream it. Fling me a message on twitch.tv (http://www.twitch.tv/eddalius) and I can get around to organising it.

ok gz to the WR i figured out that my emulator runs slower than urs so perhaps i can go to a lower time to i watchd some videos on youtube and hear the sound an watched the steps so mine emulator runs about 33% slower i try to beat the WR at 14.11 19:30 ^^

ok animalkya beat it wit 5h and some minutes but i figured out my game runs slower than his and the normal version of the game its about 33% or something so i would go under 5h with normal speed and better luck

Currently that predicted run is under 3 hours and it seems feasible, but nobody has gone through and determined all the items, I've done most of day one and it is definitely possible, but the timing is REALLY tight. All the other days are really easy compared to day one though. The RNG is mostly when your digimon needs to poo, you only have one care mistake if you take the gabumon route too. Remember that the only skill you use is sonic jab while gabumon, which is more superior to spitfire. Also megaseadramon has lower requirements to metal/skull greymon.

You could beat the game just getting garurumon...Ice Statue is so broken...also I'm not sure if you guys are doing normal training or if you're doing "bonus" training. If you're doing bonus then you're saving more time once you get the timing of the wheels down. They're actually pretty easy once you see the patterns.

i dont think you can beat the game in under 3h
i dont use metall/skull greymon i only use a champion untill the end and how i sayd my game runs 33% slower so i get under 5h perhaps something about 4

Trust me...you can, I've seen the route that makes it possible, it's hella hard to do but it's doable. Granted it's more Segmented possible, but it's very dooable. Ice Statue allows you to practically BREAK the game.

It isn't just ice statue, sonic jab makes the first three fights in the game stupidly easy (Agumon, Drimogemon and kunemon). Betamon is already a joke and Centarumon is easy provided you don't make mistakes. Also, if you go for mamemon, you pretty much surrender the route, he is certainly not worth getting. As you meet the sped req. on day one for Garurumon, you only need the mp requirement, which is easy due to an mp chip dropping off kunemon, so two days training will definitely get you the mp requirement.

Actually getting mamemon LAST is your best bet. Though re-routing is possible. Since he'd be your 50th point since you're already hoping for Vademon and Mamemon is like a screen or two away (afair). Also you only need like two HOURS of MP training if you x4 it (Which is EASY)
