Quote from Aftermath:
Your recent segments are really flawlessly done.
Well, except the menu navigation sometimes, but we won't hold that against you. Tongue

Time spent in the menu doesn't count.

Segment 25

This is the best I could do considering both video and play quality, and Medusa Heads were nice, too. I lost most of my attempts to either moving the DS off-screen or losing my grip.

Edit: Looks like the audio was lost during the YouTube maintenance. I'm reuploading now.

Edit2: Link replaced.

Edit3: Audio is missing again, no idea why. The original file is fine.

Edit4: Final reupload. Still no audio. Oh well.
Segment 26
Segment 27

You can hit Eligor's hind legs even when the orbs haven't spawned yet, but you have to wait until both orbs fully appear for the damage to count. Even then, they can be pretty glitchy and randomly decide not to register a hit.

I knew that, I was just teasing you. Once again, great progress. Cheesy
Segment 28

I managed to cut out another save, but I'm out of copy slots, so I need feedback before I can finish this. This is another segment that's really prone to DS movement, but it was okay this time. Also, there seems to be an invisible wall around the Cerberus seal, so you can't jump on it immediately.
I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
use nds adaptor, extremely cheap and works perfectly with ecclesia

As far as movement on the last segment goes, it's not the worst of the segments, but I do think it's a shame that you didn't spend more time trying to fix the problem altogether.

The segment gameplay looked good, nice to see that you've improved with Magnes.

Which saves do you have? If nothing else, you could always keep a save of before segment 25, before this one, and then just play off one file until the end. If you're worried about saving a bad segment, just time-check before saving.

In tech support, I'd post a 15 second raw video clip of the worst camera movement in either this segment or segment 25, they seem to get back to people faster if it's non-youtube.
Castlevania?
Wow, awesome Death fight.

And the end is near! *awaits final time*  Grin
Segment 29

Final time: 0:57:25

Didn't think I'd beat my last run by over three minutes while recording, but all that boss manipulation had to pay off somehow. Tongue

Castlevania?
Grats! Cheesy
Thanks and done. Smiley

Also, recording for 30 minutes straight isn't going to happen, so I'll do NG+ segmented.

It kinda is easy. Good job, nonetheless.
Thanks again. I haven't played NG+ in a while, so I've been casually doing some SS runs to get used to it again, usually getting times around 31 minutes. Going off my own pre-Eligor leg glitch 30:56 SS and Satoryu's 30:50 (was that SS?) and not really knowing how much time the Eligor leg glitch saves, I've been thinking sub-30 would be a good goal for the segmented run, but now I just randomly got a time of 30:08 SS without really trying, so I don't know what to expect. Also, how do you deal with the tutorial? I just dash through Barlowe towards the door, turn around, do two Confodere unions, do another one while dash jumping to the door, then dash through the first skeleton, do another union, and dash through the final skeleton towards the door. Haven't really found a better way to do it.
Visually Appealing
Yeah, my runs were SS.
Joke of all trades
um, why do you not use weopon switch for things like dominus agony and magnet thing, it would save alot of time of you just had so normal was mode A and mages Mode B and so on and so forth, this whole game apears almost an invenory mangement thing otherwise.  though i still recognise you will have to continually switch rings

I'm going for least in-game time, and the timer stops when you enter the menu, so it's pointless and actually costs time to use the sleeve.

Edit: Now I got a 29:50, even though I missed a ton of jumps and it generally felt like a pretty bad run. Judging from some quick tests in Boss Rush, the leg clip saves about 25 seconds, so I have no clue where all that improvement comes from.

So, I wanted to start on your segment 4 Serris, but I had a couple questions.

Well, first, I'm thinking I can do a no-heart Brachyura, in which case I'll pick up the Sage, but not return to the shop until later. My question is that if I do this, will I be losing much time from only having one MT (you finished this segment with 3)? The other option is to grab the Sage, go back to Wygol Village, turn it in, buy some potions and/or MTs, probably get some hearts, and then go to the Lighthouse to fight (basically what the TAS did).
You'll just have to test it.
You can Redire through both Eligor's torso and his forelegs (probably just a matter of speed/force, so maybe it's possible with Rapidus), but there's also a little ledge at the base of his torso's front you can stand on, and hitting his eye from this position registers as a hit. Possibly useful for Boss Rush I guess, but maybe a perfectly executed jump kick off his foreleg orbs / the crossbow could get you onto that ledge, too.

Castlevania?
I'm confused with your strat but there's a way to go over his head (is it the same?) without destroying his legs but I'm not sure if it's possible because it was in a TAS. From what I understand, you redire yourself and swing yourself up then use the shield union so his body and sword won't hurt you then use another redire right above his head to go over him.

There's also a way to kill Dracula before he teleports. From what I saw, Shanoa does the explosion union then does some unknown attack that kills Dracula instantly. Nothing special for Blackmore and Death. For Blackmore, instead of dashing in, Shanoa redires herself in then does the rest. AFAIK, swinging yourself on the ground is much faster than Rapidus Fio. As for Death, backwards union then backdash into warp.
Quits halfway
You can swing over his head unassisted, and it's not too difficult to learn, but he's saying there's another ledge that is quicker to get to, from which you would attack the eye and save some time over the over-the-head method.
Castlevania?
Just being sure, over head without breaking front orbs right? Serris's method also interests me although I can't really imagine how it's done.
Quits halfway
Oh, the video I had watched did destroy the front legs, my bad. (

For Serris' method, I wonder how you'd get to the warp. I haven't played it in forever, but I didn't think you could walk through his legs after he died, meaning you'd still have to go around.
