what is the video codec?

what is the audio codec?

are you trimming in anri?

what happens if you make a new master of the input avi using virtualdub that is uncompressed (both audio and video)?

Odd bug with anri-chan when it comes to a % symbol in a statID.

If I create an encoding without turning off anri-chan w/ that in there, the statID works fine. If I go back to the job later, it drops that plus the next 4 characters. I tried changing it in the BAT to chr(37) much like it is for quotes chr(34), but then it just displays it straight out. I'm sure it has to deal with % being a special character, but why does it not like chr(37) (or any other chr command, for that matter)?

(So it goes from "Single Segment any% [0:08:56]" to "Single Segment any08:56]")
Might be magic...
On Windows systems the percentage sign is a special character on the command line (used for variable references). Haven't tested this yet, but you could try putting two percentage signs instead (%%).

Yep, that appears to display right. Forgot about that...it's used for other things in programming too (usually used with the double ampersand).

Though I guess anri-chan still should output it correctly. When it writes the BAT file, it does it with 1 % symbol rather than 2.

Keep in mind Anri is really just preparing avisynth files which get fed into x264/nero. So if you want to tweak the avisynth files directly, go ahead; they get reset if you change settings in your anri project, though.
I had some Fraps files with high sample rates that were causing a problem. Apparently Fraps uses the sample rate that the audio out is set to. Thanks to this thread I was able to figure out that all I needed to do was add "ResampleAudio(48000)" to the end of projectname_source.avs and run job_projectname.bat. But it would be nice if Anri-chan checked this automatically.
Added to the to-do list.

Hello I been trying to use Anri-chan to do 3DS triple screen layout. The script was written by the Great Greenalink over at 3DScapture.
http://3dscapture.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6

For some reason I seem to keep getting this error.
"The procedure entry point wmemcpy_s could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCR100.dll."

I seem to have a problem when trying to create the video.
I keep getting this error
avs2pipe error avs files return value is not a clip
missing operand
missing operand
< was unexpected at this time.

Any idea how to fix this or what the problem could be.
Thank You

Did you try googling that error message?

Maybe this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6375139/visual-studio-2010-doesnt-start-msvcr100-dll-related-problem

Yes I did and already installed the files it asked for still the same problem.
maybe you have a rogue MSVCR100.dll somewhere that it is picking up ... go dll hell.

I will try and see if that is the problem, and if I can fix it. It's just weird that I gotten it to work a few times. It made me think that there is something else problem.

Update: Don't worry about it thanks for the help. I have since moved on to another software that seems to work for me.
When in doubt, use explosives.
Had a separate thread about this but was advised to post here instead. Thread post is as follows:

Quote:
I'm using an Elgato Game Capture HD capture card, recording Okami HD at 720p60, recording with the bundled software named exactly after the card.

This ultimately produces an mp4 file in the end, but keeps the recorded .ts files in a separate folder in case you want to do some light editing like cutting and save another file.
So my segments will be 720p60 mp4 files. I'd like to use Anrichan to make the HQ, MQ and LQ files as well as the other awesome stuff Anrichan does.
And of course cut out quality tests.

Is this possible at all (with current Anrichan) or am I going to have to go a longer way around with AVS and VdubMod and stuff?

Would really appreciate any and all help with this.
Who advised to post here? Tongue It's the opposite, should be a separate thread with whatever problem you have. Everything will be self contained within that thread, and easier for others to find in the future if they have the same problem.

I'll take a look at your existing thread later.

That would be nate.
Thread here.

This might have been asked before. But is there anyway to enhance the audio in anrichan?
not built-in. you will have to edit the avisynth scripts. there are a lot of good audio filters. normalize() for example. but if you use that one then you have to make sure it doesn't kill the audio.

I'm starting with an AVI file, received from Camtasia, that is a screencapture of a flash game
the other file outputed was a .camrec file
dimensions of video are 635/480
snow will probably ask to look at the log or something. for now maybe try 640x480 input instead of 635x. shooting in the dark.
Upload a sample vid please. Will be faster than guessing.
HELLO!
Apologies if this is a FAQ but what lossless formats can anrichan handle in an AVI?
anything your system can open. install codec pack (i use the cccp), open .avi in virtualdub. if it works, you're good.
HELLO!
Thanks.  After doing that I could use ffmpeg to take my lossless quicktime, bring it over to avi lossless, and then try out anrichan.

Mostly successfully too, it appears.  However, it failed making an MQ video.  Anrichan console output and log are attached.

Should I just go ahead without an MQ?  Or is there something I can do?
go "can't open stats file". bizarre. maybe try encoding again? otherwise if you're curious you can open the ultimaexodusnes_MQ.avs file anri made in vdub and see if it plays. it probably will though. maybe snow has more ideas.
HELLO!
OK so I tried that. The resulting video looks like this (all of it, not just this part): (see attached)

I mean, I basically just diddled aorund with the program a bit until I found how to get it to produce a video, so maybe I did something odd, but...

I'll try rerunning the whole process in anrichan again and see what happens.
