Okay, Thanks Smiley
I'm new to this so bear with me.

I'm not sure how relevant this is to the information I need in this thread, but I'm contemplating recording this in HD on DVD-RW instead of it's current SP on DVD-R.

Anyways...

Thank you Nate for your reply.

So, can you tell me, or direct me to who could tell me, whether or not this quality is high enough for the speedrun?

I'd love to get started on it, but I want to make sure with my current settings it will be good enough for the site's approval.
looks fine.

Great!
Soulless Killing Machine
Posting here since I am in doubt about the settings, due to the flickering in my encodes.  I think they should be f1, d1, and 3d.  Every frame has movement, it is capturing in 720x480, and it is a US Playstation 1, 3d game.

Operating system: Windows 7
Capture hardware : EzCap
Capture software : VirtualDub 1.9.11-AMD64
Capture video resolution : 720 x 480
Name of the game, console : Silent Bomber (PS1 game), on PS3
US Version
it's probably because you're playing it on a ps3. like most ps1 games this is d4 f2 3d. settings and sample encodes attached.

Thanks a lot ! Hope the HQ will look better, i'm a bit afraid with that sample.
yeah i noticed something weird going on. i think it may be a glitch with the very start of the video.
Hey, the settings for Mega Man X5 are the same for both PC and PSX version?
if you record from a psx the video will probably be interlaced while the pc capture will be progressive scan. but the game is d4 f1 2d either way.
Huge thanks Nate!
Is there an e-mail that I can contact you?? It's about a run that I'm trying to get verified
i don't have anything to do with verification, sorry.
