Fierce - I did that by accident in my visual guide.  That trick is more of ann annoyance to me, heh!
!!!
K, I know most people already know this and it's pretty obvious but I keep hearing of people that haven't sadly. If you double-tap the "-" button you can skip cut scenes. Useful on minor annoyances like having to take the cannon up to the cucco house.

Is anyone else having a seriously hard time with the stupid castle town tent round 2? There are so many orbs and so many spikes, it's terrible. Stupid mean carnie >.<
Bring me the flaming voodoo canonball!
TSA, is there a place where i can dowload avi's of you tp video's?
Because, somtimes google video laggs. (i dont wanna install google video player).

Very good TP glitch video fierce Wink
I hate those invisible walls, like in TWW Angry

I will have higher-quality .wmv files, but no .avi.  I'm tired of DivX and VirtualDub - it encodes to slow for me compared to Windows Movie Maker and it's just easier to edit in Windows Movie Maker.

I have videos at 1000KBPS video rate in .wmv format, will play on both Mac/PC.  But I won't host those for awhile.

ALSO, I did find something cool...

The mini-boss battle of Forest Temple...if you skip the cutscene, the Deku Babas are not there at the start.  If you watch the cutscene, they are there near you...
No the Quail is not riding the Q
This isn't much of a trick...I just thought it was funny since I did it by accident.

possible sequence break in gerudo, maybe... if you sidehop near the whirlpool and then grapple the flame cage thing while you are sinking... idk it would be tough and im currently not there yet so I don't know if it has any benefit other than that chest over there which probably has a small key in it.

Small trick - you can cross long sections of quicksand if you use those crawling bombs againsst a wall. The explosion knocks you up out of the quicksand. This may aid in the previous SB.

If you leave the area and come back from either direction, the cutscene begins anew.  Oh well.  An idea perhaps towards something later on...

K that sequence break in gerudo would save ALOT of time for a SB. It gives easy access to 1 poe room + skips a ton to continue onwards, so if it is possible it is huge as far as TP SB goes so far since it is so hard to SB TP. IDK might save 5+mins?

Also a critical area that we may get to abuse is the boss key in gerudo... I have angled it properly so I can jump and roll through the sinkhole to the outside of it and can walk along the wall to the other side, but Link doesn't want to jump and grab the ledge... noting this as a critical spot because if we find anything that may aid in this we can skip to boss key. Tried the walkerbombs but unfortunately they cannot do it because they push you into the sinkhole and you drown in quicksand.

Dang it, in that room in gerudo w/ 2 stalfos and that rotating spikebar I crossed that large sand gap using walkerbombs and I got to the other side, but I can't get up to the door... Sad plus there is nothing to grapple.
Yes, a cucco riding the ground.
I'm still not done with my first playthrough and I'm not going to look for glitches for a while, but I found two timesavers on accident. One is useless for anything except 100% (100% Twilight Princess :o). For the other, at the very beginning of Arbiter's Grounds, if you dash with wolf Link across the sand, you can avoid going to some extra platforms.

Grin awesome someone made a video of it.
Everybody loves Hypnotoad!
I think I just broke the Lakebed temple, but I'm not sure what I skipped.

In the room two rooms west of the main room of the temple, when you get nearly to the top of the winding path, you can sidehop off the railing and onto the platform with the pull switch.  When you pull the switch, the door will open and water will flow out, even though there's no water filling up the room.

Incidentally, if I have a DVD recording of this, what's the best way to get it into a nice .avi file?

Awesome. Grin It may have taken six years for OoT sequence breaking to get going, but Twilight Princess took only a couple days.

EDIT: If I remember correctly, you fill the water in that room AND let the water out there. So, not a huge skip, but sweet nonetheless.

Awesome job guys Cheesy

you maybe able to use the spinner and un-equip it to be able to jump and grab on to ledges you could not normaly grab. By unequip I mean by either A or by star menu replacement. The latter probably has reduces character lag and is probably the more viable option if one was to work. If I come across something to try this on I will.

Petrie - that is pro man.

SPOILERS BELOW!

okay, so the sidehop jumping spin attack is great for finishing enemies because you can do a spin attack again after you hit the ground, so other that jump attack, spin attack and that I don't really use other sword slashes in combat. But, I do use the vertical strike to break individual jars and the horizontal to break multiple jars. Only thing is this... we will probably skip that attack in a speedrun as it limits the sidehop spamming ability.

I wish we had those nifty spoiler tags like back at thehylia Sad
Speed is the key.
The spinner definately has glitch potential I think, just judging it from what I've seen in videos.

Hey that's a really good idea, I'll keep my eyes open for that.

Grin I found the first Twilight Princess Sequence Break! (or I think I'm the first anyways :P)

In the temple of time you can get the Big Key without the Dominion Staff.

When you get the the room with the big key you hook shot (I will not say claw shot). To the top like normal and set the 2 little statues on the buttons. Then like normal you hook shot one of the little piggys helmets and put it on the 3rd button. Then here's the kicker for the 4th, if you equip the ball and chain and overshoot the little statue up on the ledge you can make it fall down without using the staff of dominion to control it off the edge.

I know, it isn't seriously useful. But it's a sequence break none the less.

Speed is the key.
I've watched TSA's video walkthough for the forest temple and there are some things I'd test if I had the game...

-Boss Key without Gale Boomerang (dunno if it would be useful though)

-Skip bombing the flowers

-And obviously, somehow skip those last monkeys (probably impossible though since that gap is huge)

Sorry, don't know how to record. Even if I did I probably couldn't afford it. On the positive side it's at least pretty self explanatory.

you can download google videos, open them in txt form and look for something saying url:... copy and paste that to your browser and download the .avi file
I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
Rumina, you don't need to use the Dominion staff anyway because all the pots around the room can be put on the switches too. Just put a put in the center of the room, hookshot up, then use the boomerang to bring the pots up to the switches.
