My feelings on The Demon Rush
Yep, I'm bumping this topic because I might have found Rooster's game.

Is it Robosport?

YESIBUMPEDTHISTHREADBUTDONTWORRYITSFORAGOODREASON!!!

Anyways...there's this one game I remember from when I was pretty young. My older brother was playing it and I'm just curious as to what it was called.

It goes somewhere along the lines of where the main girl is going through this place and she's on a mission to stop her father. I only remember a few things from cutscenes soOo I hope this'll help. ^^; Well, there's one part in the game where she has to face this suit of armor with a sword and everything. You're supposed to make her dodge by pressing a certain directional button and it comes in a series. Each time you don't press the button time, the cutscene will start over and you have to start from the beginning.

There's another part where you actually travel to a room where there's this switch-like turny thingy. Each time you turn it, the hallway you just came from (behind you) becomes a different place. Another part I remember is that...she was opening a door and saw a dead body stabbed onto the door which had spikes all over it. One last thing I remember is that there were two endings based on what weapon you had or what you chose to do.

In the end, the heroine meets her father and he's sitting in this wheelchair or whatever. He tells her to come toward him and this is where you have two choices. You can equip a gun (if you have it) and shoot the father which will end where he dies, she holds him, and cries. The other ending is where you choose to go to him and you die because you get eaten? I don't know if she really got eaten but the cutscene just fades as she walks toward her father; then, the credits roll while you hear slushy sounds (like the sounds the zombies make when they're feasting).

One last detail...I remember her specifically having blonde hair (??) and I believe her name was something along the lines of "sarah".

Hope that helps...and I really would like to figure out what this game is called. Just because it's been bugging since forevers...^^
everybody wanna tell you the meaning of music
I know this one. It's D. The coincidental thing is that I just mentioned this game (for having a really short title) in the March 25 update.

BTW this isn't overly important but I find that small text of yours really hard to read, and I have to bump it up in my browser. I think people would appreciate it if you used a bigger font size, like the default.
You got a deletion wish?
Friend of mine at work has been looking for this game for a long time.

It's a boxing game on the Playstation (either that system or Genesis, really can't remember but I doubt it was on Genesis).  Has a particular opponent that tells you not to hit him in the stomach.  The second time you do, he lets out a big fart.  Hitting him in the stomach a third time results in you winning by TKO because he has to leave the ring (crapped himself).

It has come to his attention that a friend found the game in a yard sale recently but won't tell him what the name of the game is for fear of refusing to call him or some stupid thing.

I'm pretty sure it's not on Genesis cause there are at least 4 boxing games there, and I've played 3 of them (the 4th I know vaguely cause it features Muhammad Ali [not Greatest Heavyweights, which I own]).

Thanks a lot!! Now that I know the name, I have completed my life's goal. XD

And I apologize for the small font!! *bows* I have changed it! ^^;

I used to be athiest until I realized I was God.
Ok if crazy-font up there is done, I got one

This one is for Genesis  - it's kinda a fighting game, except with an isometric view. All the characters to select are monsters. It's kinda like a wrestling game, except the monsters try to kill each other. One guy had a move where he would grab you and fly up, and you'd see him and you sillouhetted on the moon, then he'd suplex you into the floor. I rented this game many times but never got far, and now it's stuck in my head for all eternity.

edit: it's not king of monsters, it had an almost gothic feel to it, and all of the fights were indoors, almost like a wrestling ring.

I will probably remember more later...

Quick search of mobygames results in... Beast Wrestler?
It wouldn't happen to be Fighting Masters now would it?
General Kong - Bullets and Bananas
There was a helicopter game for the NES.  You had to pick up "hostages" from different buildings along the way to the end of the level.  It was 2-D side scrolling and your helicopter would have to wait above the building while a rope lowered and the people climbed up before moving.

DK28: Choplifter?

I don't think that's it as I don't remember there being a ladder in Choplifter.

Sounds like Cobra Command to me. Go into buildings, rescue people, and shoot enemies while doing so. Repeat until the level is complete.

Holy hell! That's it, thank you.  I'm off to the game store

*grabs keys*

Choplifter did look very similar though.  Once I saw footage of Cobra Command though, I knew that was it.
Oh, what a handy thread.. maybe I can find a game I once played..

After reading todays newspage from SDA, I saw the game 'Master Blaster' (or something like this), this reminded me to an old NES game where you controlled a tank from above (bird view) and fought other tanks. .. I barely can remember the game, so no details or anything. Sad But if someone has a clue, it'd be very nice to tell. (also via pm, cause I'm not sure if I check this thread again)

If the screen doesn't scroll, then it's most likely Battle City.  If it does scroll, then I'd guess Iron Tank or Jackal.  If it's none of these, then more detail would be helpful.
oh yes, it is battle city. <3 thank you Smiley
Everything's better with Magitek
Sorry for being a slacker about updating the first post.  It's all up-to-date now, and it looks like MatrixTN's is the only one that hasn't been answered.

Looks like DK28 is the one with the original question, just need confirmation from him about Molotov's guess.

I've got a question myself, been wondering and searching about this game from time to time but I just can't find it so maybe someone here knows.

The game was very similar to Lost Vikings. It also had 3 characters (Which were animals of some sort. I should also need to mention that they were just standing/walking like persons, not crawling around on 4 legs or something) with each their own abilities. One was a kind of General I believe, one an archer and the other was just a big brute. The models and such were more 3D-ish than Lost Vikings and the graphics were also newer/better looking overall, but the camera view was still from the side.
If I remember correctly I played it on the PC.

Some things that might help.  What year was the first time you saw the game?  I'm guessing PC means Windows, but what version of Windows?  That's all I have right now, but looking through mobygames the closest I found is Imogen, which probably isn't it.

That looks like Battle City I mentioned earlier.
