Moby Dick -- ~10 mins east of the hotel -- decent kabob Charcoal Kabob -- ~15 mins north/east in Herndon -- my favorite kabob place in the area Honey Pig -- ~20 mins south in Centreville -- 24 hr Korean BBQ Texas de Brazil -- ~35 mins in Fair Oaks mall -- pricey but excellent churrascaria (all you can eat BBQ)
One of these is definitely happening. Speedrunning all I can eat? I'm in.
But good to know ~7/10 days will probably consist of nothing but Taco Bell and Chipotle.

There are a lot of restaurants in the Village Center, about 1/2 km south of the hotel -- ~20 minute walk
I don't know about you, but it shouldn't take 20 minutes to walk 1/2 km. Unless it's a really roundabout path we have to take.
Red Hot & Blue isn't THAT bad... I've always like it, although I'm no BBQ connoisseur.
I have to agree with you there.

If you are talking about the churrascaria BBQ all you can eat, then I just have to let you know the churrascaria BBQ is Brazilian BBQ. Had to get that out there so people don't think its like shredded pork or shredded chicken or pull pork or any of that kind of stuff. It's like Brazilian BBQ sausage, Bacon wrapped stuff, and other Brazilian BBQ stuff. It also has a little salad/finger food and soup buffet that is included in the price.
haha honey pig, that's a bit far but yeah it's good 24 hour korean bbq so you can't complain. Do you know about any of the restaurants that are in World Gate Centre? Aside from Supper Club of India, which is excellent (but pricy), I don't know how any of those restaurants are.
BTW, there is a subway in world gate centre, I wouldn't walk down 20 minutes for one.
EDIT: DrCoolGuy World Gate Centre is right across the street from the hotel so your options are not limited to Taco Bell and Chipotle.
I've never had Chipotle so this will be a good experience. Taco bell could also be good for grabbing mass amounts of food with the boxes and stuff. We should probably be nice and not do that during peak business hours for them though
But honestly, I kind of just want to race to eating 12 tacos.
I like the 12 taco idea, mainly because I don't like much else at taco bell. And are you essentially suggesting a taco speedrun money match because that sounds like officially the best thing ever.

As someone who works in fast food I appreciate this thought.
Also, I don't remember who brought up the on-site billboard idea, but I like that thought.
Maybe I can get someone to do the gallon of milk challenge.
As long as I don't have to pay for it, I'll do just about anything stupid involving food for glory (except milk cause it's gross). I'll be sure to find you when we do them

As a foodie fan and love of mad amounts of yummies, I wish to watch the TB money matches.

That was me that suggested having an on-site bulletin board. Even though I wont be there
Sorry, I completely forgot the World Gate center is right across the street, and there's a Subway and Starbucks in there. Matsutake has a sushi lunch buffet. I don't know about anything else in there, since I never eat there.
re: 20 minute walk to Village Center. I guess I did overestimate this, but it *is* a sort of roundabout path (it's on the other side of the toll road and there's no sidewalk for half of it).
re: Red Hot & Blue -- maybe their other locations are fine, but the one over here is lousy imo. It tastes like cafeteria food to me.
