Those are some great runs AKheon! I added them but was unsure about the timing of two runs, I would be glad if you added the times to those marked with "tbd" in the runs list!

Is timing counted from the moment actual gameplay begins, or from when you choose to start a new game?

In Silent Hill 3 I think it would make sense to start timing after choosing to begin a new game, since the moment where you gain control of Heather is not clear. In that case, the timing is 02:43.

Chains of Olympus... if you time the run from gameplay starting (after intro cutscene), the run is less than 1 seconds long.
Usually timing starts when the user gains control over his character and ends when he fulfills the final objective and/or loses control. However, the exact timing method is agreed upon by the respective community, since games vary greatly in what times are actually reasonable to count. I will add the times you said and keep on the look out for the exact timing (also, this is nothing official, so its not allto important Wink )

Though I'd give a SSim update, with the discovery of using the pizza cutter slammed into multiple hit boxes the bad ending time has dropped significantly

Any% Bad Ending: 4:52.38

bumping this thread because Arkham Origins died on me again.  This is the quickest it's ever happened so I'm submitting a softlock% time of 1:40.

Vod is here: http://www.twitch.tv/robo_sparkle/c/3447937

Timing starts when I get control of Betaman and finishes when my silent takedown on the thug is done as this is what trapped me in this room.  I need to interrogate him by pressing Y, but as you can see from the video, that ain't happening!

Both of these can be done faster.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light - ded% 00:04.383

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - ded% in 00:48.967

Boat escape was near perfect, fish RNG was average/slow.
It's weather time!
There's a quicker way to die in Anodyne. If you keep mashing down in the menu you reach a password screen of sorts, and every time you fail to input a code you lose health. I'm pretty sure you know where this is going. This takes about 9 seconds from gain of control to loss of control

The video is jokingly named after a fellow runner.
Borderlands 2 Glitch Hunter/ router.

Added 3 runs. Thanks guys <3 Those are really cool!
I don't think there's enough charact

Just made a rough video in a minute.
Timed the crash at 16:84. (Again, rough. May be inaccurate).
Controller kept blue screening the computer, so had to use Keyboard. If someone wants to improve it by a second, go for it.

Gotta Go Fast!
Dishonored, failed in 4.10secs

Borderlands 2 Glitch Hunter/ router.
Two new ones:

Serious Sam 3 BFE : Around 4 seconds

In-game Timer : 4 seconds
(60 FPS) # of Frames : 259
Actual Time: 00:04.316

Thief (2014) : 1:21~

In-game Timer : 1:23 (on Main Menu)
This is the First place in the game where you can Fail / Die could be faster with better luck on the lock positions.
Gamesradar did a semi regular series called HFCYDI, How Fast Can You Die In...
Worth a look https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjmfSJFT9VMRvoLvYIc-pvpsaUU3TmMh8
Okay, I was curious what would be faster, so we have softlock% and gameover%. Both can be improved. Time starts on 'One Player' and finishes at Game Over or at Softlock.

Softlock% in 52 seconds. Can easily be improved because it has actual movement in it, with some extended rolls and a roll before the final hit it could easily be in the 40-50 second region (i suck at extendos).

Gameover% was a bit of a mystery because you don't normally time yourself in dying so it was a race between killing yourself and reloading the level multiple times and having to beat the level and perform a glitch. Game Over in 1 minute and 13 seconds.

Was fun for what it is Tongue
It's weather time!
I'm curious about one thing. What about situations where you can't progress, but it isn't technically a softlock, and you aren't dead? I'm thinking of SotN as Richter. I know if you slide under the door at the beginning you can't get back into the castle. Or does that count as a softlock?
Well if you are stuck in something and can't get out the 'run' is dead so I guess that would count. Sort of like a soft lock.
Added the DKC ones, those were really cool!
Cool (: Got times round the wrong way though Tongue
I have a NetHack fastest death TAS with a time of minus infinity by SDA timing (because it never gains control of the character). It should be easy to replicate on console by changing your computer's date and time, but DOS computers can be hard to find nowadays. Not sure if you're accepting fastest death TASes in this thread, though.

Link's Awakening - ded% 0:38

Could have been a few seconds faster, but I'm fine with this time.

Link's Awakening DX - ded% 0:38

Kid Icarus of Myths and Monsters - ded% 0:11

I'm having way too much fun with these! Grin
It's weather time!
I found another quick softlock in Anodyne. It's a second faster than Judgy's run (though, his was also the English version so his method might be around 3 seconds faster overall) but I figured y'all would get a kick out of it all the same.

Still. Not. Bitten.
The Walking Dead is a horrible game for any kind of speedrun. So of course I had to try it.

I played through the sequence four times with every possible answer to find the fastest combination. Surprisingly is the silent option only used once.

The end where you actually take control can be executed slightly faster.
