Looks excellent. More space than AGDQ, free 24/7 shuttle, shuttle to surrounding restaurants, and the conference rooms are covered (thanks to DWB). THE HYPE IS REAL.

What would the transportation to the hotel from Union Station be like? Or should I just expect to take a taxi or some sort of public transit?

Sounds great, shuttle service is always a plus because rental cars are absurdly expensive for anyone under 25 (I just spent like $700 for one when I was on vacation back home, $250 for fees just being under 25).

It's about 13 miles, I wouldn't count on a ride but you might be able to convince somebody to do so. There is a bus route (AF) that would get you reasonably close, but since it's meant to be an airport Route it's more expensive than a normal bus ride.

everything looks/sounds great

want to throw in a reminder to check if the main bathrooms have hot water. it was the only thing that wasn't good about the hotel at AGDQ, though it wasn't (and still isn't) a big issue
