neat will see if i can find something the start is really easy couldn't find anything further yet, can confirm that the half prophets door skip works at 180 fps really easily so if there is something it would need to be quick and consistand

@MrTau @lillbrorsan I play with about 120fps.  Just fiddled a bit with the screen resolution. At 230+fps it's damn easy; close to first try every time
Sad that those skips are so framerate dependent
Truljin @ Twitch
I can do it with it locked at 60 fps so it is possible without wasting too much time, just have the right setup and it should work every time.
In case someone is bored today:

It is also a lot easier to skywalk in that area than at the intro, so if you have trouble with the intro skip this might be a good spot to get some practise.
If anybody else finds that the Corela start doesn't work anymore I have a backup strat that works. You can clip the wall by the mural

How do you do this consistently?
I managed to do half of this once, just keep sliding off.

As for camera angles and keyinputs it works pretty much the same as in tr2013.
But to trigger the skywalk I spam back 3 times instead of 2. The rest is just practise.

Never ran TR2013 so would love to know as much as possible to be able to practice this skip successfully.

EDIT1
Anyone able to do the XBOX360 clip after the shotgun to skip the miniboss?

EDIT2
Not sure if anyone tried it but the Tower OOB posted on XBOX360 still works on PC.

EDIT3
Not sure if anyone tried to go OOB on the Greek Fire part but I found this so far.

it's slower than doing it normally so not worth doing it you can just get through the area in under 40 seconds

i found that out of bounds i mentioned it before but i cant seem to get anywhere with it
@Truljin It's not that easy to explain. And it is something you will have to grind out as the keyinputs don't make any sense.

maybe this helps you since it shows the keyinputs. But again it is harder to trigger in rottr and her turning speed is a bit slower which makes it even harder imo.
Truljin @ Twitch
I think you might be able to swim to the end of the level, not sure if you get high enough or if it will trigger anything.

Bit of a long one for what it shows, but i found several ways to go out of bounds in this area, sadly so far it always ends in a softlock cause of missing loading trigger but maybe someone else will find something i will definitely keep looking.

also @ liLlbrorsan i tried swimming around but you are under the map the entire time it seems and as far as we know we need the statue puzzle for the trigger at the end of the level, but never give up Smiley
So I found the path, but there is still a loading trigger missing for the entire thing to work out

EDIT: It is possible to go back inboud during the climb... but you still have to do the rope swing etc... so I'm not sure if that would actaully pay off
ok i found a trigger for the huge fight but no way around it so far so it might just skip a bit :/

Is there any alternate strat for the Corela skip on PC?

EDIT
Nvm managed to clip through the wall right next to the mural.

MrTau: 2016-02-01 04:00:22 pm
so its possible to skip a small bit of the fight and the first cutscene here but not the huge fight cause as far as i can see, you need to kill everyone in this room to get the trigger for the end of the level :/

dont even know if that is worth it need to time the normal way :D^

edit1: ok it doesn't seem to be worth it atm maybe saves a view seconds done perfecly while being not 100% consistand

That skip is not in this thread but it was done on the WR run, can be somewhat annoying to do but nice nonetheless.

Hi Guys,

I've finished this game now too and started playing around in it. Sadly I dont have that much time (working fulltime sux).
Just a headsup in case this hasnt been found yet. You can not skip the Abandoned Mine Puzzle besides the first half (Cutscene not playing after you get through... next area not loaded).

I found a different way to skip the first half then is shown in this forum. Not sure if you like this one more tho...

From what I have found out so far, you can get a lot of glitchy stuff happen in corners you wouldnt normally be able to.
If two things corner you, you dodge backwards while holding bow aim. Then start holding backwards + direction into the object. Then once the dodge ends (maybe slightly before), start slowly turning into the object and you start glitching into it.
Not sure with how many things this works, I only tested around a bit in the abandoned mines today and figgured this out while playing with corners and it seemed to work quiet frequently.

Something else, you can climb the slides again... this time you have to hold zoom before doing it tho... for some reason if you just do it normally you can't.
This time you can climb much higher tho, specially if you delay your second swing.

Thats it from me for now. My goal for this game is to find a monastery skip, Kappa.
So i found this nice battle skip Smiley 2 easy door clips the first you go over the gate (frameratedependant)

Here is a video with what I previously mentioned, looks like taking the safer path does not work on PC since the floor is not solid.

I am never going to learn this, looking at the inputs and everything I just keep falling to my death.

It is hard, but it is something that becomes consistent with practise and virtually 0 rng compared to all the back scramble with aim...

So I don't know if it is bad or good news then because it's possible to skip almost all of the climbing with this. I haven't timed it and there might be a more optimal route but the climb sure feels extremely slow...

I just realized that the quoted video was a newer one than the one I watched the first time around, makes more sense now.

As for the full intro skip, how much time does it save if you do it perfectly?
I did some basic timing... so don't take those number for granted.

The very basic version (which there is no video for it but instead of triggering the checkpoint after the cave from below that map you just go back inbound there)... Saves around 30 seconds more or less.
The 2nd biggest version saves around 40 seconds. And the largest version could save like 45 seconds depending on how long it takes to avoid the crash but I have no clue what causes it and how to avoid it.

Keep in mind that the skip has a pretty high skill cap in terms of movement so the time save could increase... plus there might be a more direct route which could save another 10 seconds.

I am trying to do this now using the same inputs, camera and stuff and there is no difference whatsoever, never been so frustrated with any speed-method for any game ever.

yes a couple of people gave up on running tr2013 because of that... just take your time maybe we will find better skywalking areas so you can practise there.

I will just skip this until I feel lucky or something else is found.
