Shout outs to Eydas for them Research Base OoBs I think I found a way to make the 2nd one pay off or am I missing out on something here?

EDIT: Can finish reserach base without softlocks... should be fine then

Please, somemone have to explain me how the prison clip works! I understand how you can clip upward in the room upstair. But it's so hard to go directly outside.

@SamuraiBlue I don't get what happens at 0:57 in your Prison Break video. Do you just press backward ? Do you mash aim ? Or press it at a "slow" pace ?

I just keep pressing backward and I do some double aim (keep pressing the 2nd time) until she gets through the window. The spot does matter. It's quite inconsistent but still faster than following Joseph...
When you clip the gate, you can actually clip the wall against instead so that you can reach stairs faster.

Btw, knowing Lara doesn't get her stuff back not getting out the normal way, I'd guess this is the one skip that makes the pistol to disappear.

I just played around with that exact skip and it DOES make the Pistol disappear BUT the game still doesn't softlock later on.
As soon as you reach the Cathedral and trigger that scene with Anna, the Pistol magically reappears.
I was just doing the Corela Skip for the first time and accidentaly walked into a loading zone.
It turned out to be way less bad, than I feared, though. After some experimentation I figured out an improved route for the Corela Skip:

In case someone wants to help with replacing path of the deathless with path of the jedi...

Ok guys, for those of you doing the Corela skip by clipping the mural, please do so by clipping the side behind the statue. You can literally jump through the wall there.

Always nice to see some new stuff pop up, might do an attempt tomorrow and hopefully finally get sub 1:50.

I also noticed that my game is queued for a new update on Steam that have no patch notes posted of it yet.

I just tried the Research Base Skip, that Ballistic posted, but the OoB spot wasn't working for me. So I started to look for other spots and I would say it payed off:

It is a bit weird, but it seems to become more consistent, the more I try it. That spot has some weird properties, though. Multiple times I have ended up teleporting to some neaby spot, without appearent reason.
Here is an update on the Path of the Deathless OoB which could lead to a working skip...

Found an alternative to Artistics way to break into the prison. Dont think its faster, but might be easier for some people.

For console runners, I found a way to clip doors that weren't clippable with the aim+backscramble method so far. I use the aim+double aim method (still back to the door) with a precise timing. When I release aim, I wait for the moment Lara seems the "deeper" inside the door and then I re-aim, it results she gets stuck inside the door (like she was with the old method). You can just finish the move normally, backward+cam rotation.
I've just tried it on the door after you find the pistol and it works fine. Maybe it will help XBOners.

And thank you for the Eydas skip skip AND the new research base route (found by Artistic), it is fully functional on X360 as far as I know, glad to see the 2nd OoB is not useless.
Speaking of Reasearch Base I just found an OoB following ArtisticBallistic's skip:

I recorded now how to do the next step... it seems that you can clip into the rock with scrambles... still not consitent though

Skipping flame-thrower and cutscenes using double aim method. Once I'm stuck in the table I just keep pressing aim+back.

Btw just for the record, you can skip this gate instead of the current fire arrow skip. I always thought you guys would do that already but in the current run I saw something different.
(Its a bit tricky and maybe a good setup is needed. Atm what I am doing is double aim into the barrier and then tap left in a certain frequence, that gives me a pretty good chance to get it... obviously using a similar angle and the same spot.)

Btw I somehow managed to fuckup my savefile it seems. I do not get the shotgun cutscene... anyone knows what could have happened?
I continued, but the game softlocks where you would get the grapple axe... I always did this firearrow skip so it cant be that.

@Aphox Sounds like the softlock i had.  Did you missed the pistol after the bear skip?

I did not pick up the pistol indeed, is that necessary? Might have missed that post... god I guess those few seconds to not pick it up were totally worth.
Truljin @ Twitch
Yes, you need to pick up the shotgun and the pistol or the game will soft-lock on you.

@leemyy there are several ways to go out of bounds here posted it somewhere early on sadly all you can do is get to the horrible fight and that slower than the normal way you can get into the empty room but the trigger is not there to get to the end of the level #softlocked aka #cockblocked but trie around the first to skip that fight in a way that is worth it gets 10$ from me Tongue

Found a different start for the intro OOB, for me this one is more consistant and I think it is also slightly faster.

coinfirmed to work on pc but slightly different due to high fps no softlock

Looks good Aphox, will try that one out.

So I tested some of these.

1. The other method of skipping the fire arrows does indeed work, I stuck to the left side of the gate and managed to clip through by just double tapping and walking backwards, this clipped me OOB but there is water underneath.
2. I also managed to do the PC method for skipping the flamethrower fight, seems consistent.
3. The new method for intro OOB works really well, will use in future runs for sure.

Currently trying to find a consistent way of doing the prison OOB.
Welp... as spectacular as the area is with mid air lakes and lighting effects etc etc... the OoB takes way too long and still doesn't quite make it to the second camp fire.

Truljin @ Twitch
Think I have found a pretty good setup for the prison OBB but want to test it a bit more before I call it a complete success.
