I managed to lower the time to 0:46.61 on Honda 2 using some new tech/strats. Maybe one day I will go for the 43/44.xx which is technically possible, but also insanely difficult.

@Zallard1: I think I might try and match the TAS time for Great Tiger, but I need another game genie or the NES powerpak for that so I can dirty practice it on console. I still have to improve the SS as well *sigh*

I guess this is probably ok to post here; I randomly decided to play this a little before I went to bed. I decided to record (because ALWAYS record), and I got this nice little PB here on some guy in the game who goes by the name of Mike Tyson. To my total surprise, Tyson goes down in 2:23.xx

Getting dangerously close to sub 2:20, which I wasn't expecting to happen anytime soon. Guess I should probably keep up that "ALWAYS record" habit just in case Tongue

Thanks! Dunno if it'll be soon, but I'm in the ballpark at the very least. I guess the next time I get a phase 2 that fast, I won't hesitate as much as I did in this fight though since I'll have nothing to lose now. Hope to see some Tyson in the future, but Turtles is getting close......to getting splinterface back in TSSB

So I was planning on running Ninja Gaiden 2, but after seeing Sinister1 run this last night I've decided to pick this up instead........... I guess I would just like to know where to start or possible some good resources ? I will be watching runs etc. of course

So i was wondering, is that Mike Tyson's Punch Out Encyclopedia available anywhere? I checked out Daniel Lanciana's site and it appears he discontinued his production of it? Is there another site to get it? Either way, I'd love to get one, it looks really cool.

Glad to hear you're interested in picking up the game Deuceler! It might be hard to learn at first, but it's really rewarding once you get the hang of it. Like sinister said, if you have questions on anything at all, feel free to ask!

Unfortunately, the MTPO book got cancelled since Nintendo wasn't on board with the copyright stuff needed to publish it. I'd love to get one too, but it seems like it isn't gonna happen unless Nintendo has a change of heart (incredibly unlikely).

I didn't know this run existed because yesterday I was packing to go to DK28's place along with K and Hurblat. I found out this run happened on the car ride over to DK's when Hurblat was casually mentioning it, haha. Just watched the run today and holy crap at that luck Shocked

Is this being submitted, or is Honda/Don 2 holding the submission back for you? That SDA run needs updating... especially considering the new run is practically 30 seconds ahead of it now. Regardless, incredible run!

I could see submitting this one. I really only had an execution error on Honda 2, the rest was clean. I do still dream of beating my old segmented 16:31.xx. Pretty darn close now.
