[quote author=The_Quiet_Man I've also been trying Challenge 20, but I'm not really sure how many star bits are actually in that loop. Does anyone know off hand?[/quote]
I was trying the challenge where you had to do the Freezeflame Galaxy and reach the summit without any damge, using only 1 power-up, and killing Brrr at the end of it. I actually managed to get it recorded, but it wouldn't play in my DVD drive or on my regular one either. I tried with a different DVD and played for half an hour. You wouldn't believe the shit I went through, after having done it already no less! The camera for the beginning skating part would screw me up and throw off my jumps, those God damn freeze birds dive-bombed me at the worst times, that snowman became impossible to get on top of, the black hole would suck me in even though I was no where near it while I was falling, Brrr would time a shot just perfectly to hit me, I couldn't jump out of the water even though I was pressing/holding the button, and more fun crap like that. And then, to top it all off, on my last run, I jumped off the summit and fell towards Baron Brrr's area. Just before I hit the ground, I entered the "fell off a high area" animation and "Too Bad!" appeared on the screen, meaning the game decided to kill me and I feel through the ground. I almost punched a hole in my basement wall. To make it worse, it didn't work on my two DVD players either.
Beat Tarantox without breaking any rocky platform or making coins fall from the web. There are a total of 16 boils on Tarantox, destroy them all (sides, back and underside). Keep cursor on screen at all time. No deaths/damage.

Once again, you should really remove #20 challenge. I wouldn't even call that a challenge and as I mentioned earlier, you're obligated to get two star bits other than the ones you need to collect as you blast out of the volcano.
That's one crazy challenge you've cooked up Mikauro, and I think I just might be dumb enough to try it. I really think that you might have to allow a maximum of 5 star bits though.
RJWater's Youtube comment on my recent video got me thinking about our limitations, both for gaming skill and patience. I'll flat out admit that there are some that I just can't do, like the flower jumping for Cataquack to the Skies. I tried to do it for the longest time and still only ever made it to the second one. Anyone else finally say "screw it" to another challenge for a similar reason?
Battlerock barrage challenge. If that's supposed to be maximum number of coins possible, I hate it even more.
One that I hate that I didn't ever submit here is doing matter splatter galaxy springless. 2 hours of triple jumps and backflips, and I still fail. I'm convinced it's impossible, meaning you have to use the spring in the game...

It's nowhere near the max, but it's a lot. You want lots of starbits first (suicide x4 at the start). Then go. Try to have ~28 by the time the ride stops. You can easily hit the last 3 cannons from the stopped platform. Each cannon has 3, and the coins are in a fixed pattern which you can learn to predict in order to save starbits. If your aim and timing is good (hint: P2 wiimote helps) you can nail another 4 cannons (maybe it was 3, but 90% sure 4) from the platform by zooming in with Mario-head-cam mode. Their coins will gravitate to the platform. You'd already have grabbed a few coins from those last 7 cannons during the ride, so don't expect to get 21. But 28ish + ~18ish + bullet cage + goombas >= 50, yay.
Dreadnaught 65 is a different beast. I'm scared to even try it. Basically... the platforms regenerate so you have to keep longjumping back to safety and grabbing the platform again to milk the cannons for multiple coins. And that's just craptastic because it's so easy to die.
I tried doing challenge #3 a few times, but I eventually gave up. I originally had in mind that these challenges were going to be "for masters only", but there should also be fun factor, not just frustration.

No, it's not the max. You're actually given a generous amount of leeway.
I've changed it to 30 coins from cannonballs plus the five arranged in a semicircle in between the lasers. This way, you can concentrate solely on the target shooting and not finding the coins (though admittedly, none of them are particularly well-hidden.)
Stage: Rolling Gizmo Galaxy Challenge: Complete the stage Stiplutations: 6 Coin Limit, collect more than 120 starbits, collect one or less 1-ups, destroy only one of these metall-boxes
Points: I don't know how many points this is worth...
