Can you change me to definitely coming to the marathon?  My advisor is pretty chill with time off as long as work gets done.  Taking the week for Mikefest is no problem.  MAGFest is another question, still.  I don't know if I would find enough stuff to do there to merit staying for the extra week, or if I'll even have the time off for it.

Still, a switch to 'definitely' for the marathon.

My feelings on The Demon Rush
I want to say something about MAGFest and housing.

I will try to get housing until the day before MAGFest, however, once MAGFest starts, it's not worth paying for the house because there will be less people. We'll all have to roomshare.

My attendance is going to depend on how much things end up costing. Probably just going to end up being marathon only, but I will attempt to budget for staying through MAGfest. Mark me down as likely for the former.

Glitching EB 1 flying man at a time
I'll probably have a better update in a few months, but hopefully I'll know sooner, since where I work is making the temp workers "Temporary Permanent" on a tenure of 18 months. So we get all the benefits of the normal employees.

With that said, by the time January rolls around, I will most likely have vacation/PTO time to use. There's a chance I'll be able to do both this and MAGfest, but for now let's just hope I can use my time off to come on Thursday, instead of Friday for Mikefest by then.

I was planning one being there a day early anyway so I would be able to find all the stuffs I need to find. I could help out if needed/wanted

I am coming to the Marathon likely for just the day I am running mtpo, etc. I am not actually sleeping at the venue.

I doubt I will attend MAGFest at this point. If I do I will get a one day pass.

I can't say the food situation isn't a bit disappointing, but everything else sounds great.  And if cold beverages are allowed, I have to imagine everything would turn out completely fine  Tongue  Anybody who was cleaning up Mountain Dew cans last year after the marathon would probably come to the same conclusion.
