Fucking Weeaboo
Mixing is always consistant if you let the wheel run the full course. However this is REALLY time consuming and wheel is a pain in the ass to control, and a lot of times isn't really worth it, especially on spots that don't have a lot of flat surfaces.
In practices at work the other days, I was down to about 2 deaths, though there was absolutely no consistancy to where I was dying. Though I was on occassion making it through 7-2 w/o death. Take Sword in, switch to Throw, then take Burning on the way out. While Hammer may do more damage than sword, sword will be easier to use on the Elephant mini-boss (after that I get throw, so it doesn't matter after that).
I'm not sure of all the differences between the NES and GBA versions. The bosses are jumpable, but 7-2 you really need to be on top of things, especially for Throw and Backdrop minibosses because when you take the secret door they REALLY move fast.
At least with the fix in lag reduction, it's helped my ability to play this game. It's amazing how well I was doing in Amazing Mirror despite this problem...
