This thread honestly confuses me. The 2012 marathon hasn't even been discussed even in an hypothetical fashion and people are already clamouring over what games should be played for it? I understand your enthusiasm but this thread is incredibly premature and most likely won't even be looked at by the time the bigbigs start looking to organize next years thing, because frankly if they have this enormous list to sift through and make a schedule out of right at the start of everything and then it turns out people can't make it or we have no runners for it then it'll just cause even more headaches. I do appreciate the threads intention but the timing of it is all wrong. Give it a couple months, imo.

DXC vs DXC was discussed at and even before the marathon. It was something that was debated on, but ultimately we went with old vs new (Rondo vs DXC). Epic Yarn was originally going to be part of the marathon, but was cut. Hence the reasoning behind those included.

My feelings on The Demon Rush

I have played enough games, this topic is useless and I'm locking it.

Half of the suggestions are for games "that one fan" cares about.

The other half are for games that are good suggestions, but they were also repeated about 5 times in the topic. :-/

However, there is a bigger problem no one has realized. SOMEONE ACTUALLY HAS TO RUN THESE GAMES! We will have no idea what can and will be run until planning for the next marathon actually begins.

Sorry, but mentioning these games while they're still fresh doesn't mean anything if no one runs them. We have the chat logs and commentary videos lying around, so keeping the info, "fresh in our minds" won't be a problem.

I will admit there are a couple of good posts with people saying they will actually practice a game, and it's a game people actually care about.

P.S. I can't believe people actually thought awesome was actually a theme. AGDQ didn't have a theme, unless if you consider, "games people want to watch" a theme. And if that's a theme to people, well I'm gonna try my damn hardest to continue the theme. Angry
