Practised and did some no-reset runs, got 16:00~ runs fairly consistently, and almost got a PB in one run (which is 15:07 atm)

Finally got around to uploading some runs of some tracks. All 4 songs are played blind, meaning I don't know the chart (except the first song, which was semi-blind). I tried to pick songs that I thought were going to be intense (admittedly electronic music works well), and I was planning on playing a Dragonforce track too but didn't have any on my HD at the time. I currently play on Ninja Mono (+Ironmode), but expect to be also be proficient at Pusher before the marathon too. I can also add mods to make charts even more intense, with the possibility of new challenges/possible donation incentives. I'll need to look into those though.

Devil May Cry 1

Decided to do some actual runs finally to remove some rust of the missions I havent practiced, ended up with new time with over 2minutes faster than my best run

Pretty consistent. Races against Cereth were mostly close. But fail can happen. It wouldn't be funny otherwise.

Final Fantasy VII
I got a 2:41:57 on an average (RNG-wise) run with the marathon route. (http://www.twitch.tv/xerokynos/c/4142041)
I did not get Vincent/Yuffie on that run.

Even though I originally offered getting Vincent/Yuffie as donation incentives, which I can do if it is desired and which will add about 10 minutes to the time, I now feel that doing so is not a very good idea. If I do get them, I would have to do so at the end of the run and would not be able to use them (I could use Vincent but I cannot use Yuffie because her level is too low).

I have recently started integrating killing Ruby and Emerald Weapon into a YW+ run. Therefore, if the schedule allows it, I could, instead of getting the optional characters, kill the optional superbosses in the run. The route I use for this is identical to the ordinary YW+ run up until the 2:30h mark but then diverges to collect extra stuff to be able to beat the weapons.

My current PB for that run is 3:29:15 (3rd attempt). I have a video for my first run, which I finished in 3:34:25 (http://www.twitch.tv/xerokynos/c/4066451). This route is by far more entertaining (more glitches and unusual strategies) than the one that gets Yuffie and Vincent. I actually get Vincent in the Weapons run because I need him to perform a certain glitch. Additionally, the route does not add any extra risks to the run (the strategies and glitches I use to kill the weapons are perfectly safe). I assume that I could get my time down to about 3:20:00.

Sonic 1 - I've been relearning about half the game. I'm learning a lot of new things I didn't know about before, I should be ready to do full game runs sometime next week hopefully.

Sonic 2 - I've done a few runs here and there without warmup or whatever. All landed around 16-17 minutes ingame time. With some refreshers it should not be a problem at all, this game is my baby after all.

Sonic Colours - I do a few practise sessions every now and then but I haven't done full game runs for the last 2 weeks so I couldn't tell if I've improved or not.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles - This game I haven't gotten a single run through yet. Given the time left and the other games, the fact that I have a full time job and also started attending more SSBM tournaments etc, I feel like I need to drop this game. I'll give it another week or two, but I'll notify the appropriate people by the middle of may if I feel like I won't be able to keep up to my own standards.

Nazo no Murasame Jou

First, I'm so happy to be in the marathon! I know the run isn't the longest and all but I'm still a no-name here so not adding me would've been easy, so I'm so hyped to get a chance to show this game of. Smiley

But on to status update. I've started practising a lot now and am getting more consistent. I will start routing the game for no pick-ups as well. The reason for this is that you lose all pick-ups when you die so this it to ensure I can continue a run even if I die (because now I have no idea what to do, haha).

Lastly, it has just come to my attention that I get input lag from my GBA SP on the GB Player. I dunno if it is because of my connection cable or what, but I don't get the lag when using a normal GameCube controller. That obviously doesn't work for GBA games though, so I have ordered a cheap-ish Hori Pad that I found. I should have it in a week or two hopefully, so up until then I will be practising on the GBA.

Deus Ex Invisible War

Since I have to show it for ESA I started learning the game today and time is 47:41.

When I suggested the game I didn't know that they cutted out the loading times, cutscenes and conversations in the segmented video which made it look so fast. I needed to do some routing for it(first runner who is doing single segmented for it) because parts in the segmented are just impossible in a normal single segmented any% run.

So in total it will take like approximately 50min to finish a run.
