Yeah, I said it.
I did a brief single-segment test run in SNES9X using a modified version of Mickey_Mage's route. The play was sloppy as it was only a test run, and a bit of time could have been shaved off, but I still managed to enter Peaceful Rest Valley at around the 32 minute mark, according to SNES9X's "Play Movie" screen. Any opinions on how good or bad this time is, and how much room for improvement there is?

Also, I can now say without question that of the first few towns, speeding through Onett is the hardest. You're counting so much on battles to go right and are hoping to not run into the wrong enemy at the wrong time... once you get to Twoson, the run becomes a breeze by comparison.
I hate just posting information links, but check out this page: http://starmen.net/mother2/gameinfo/technical/equations.php

Here's something else that's not on that page:

Resistances to Hypnosis and Brainshock use the same variable statistic, and are therefore inversely corrolated.  So if a PC or enemy has 99% resistance to Brainshock, they must also have 0% resistance to Hypnosis.  The others are 50/10, 10/50, 0/99.

Equip the Pixie Bracelet to get 10% Hypnosis/50% Brainshock resistance.  Equipping the Cherub's Band, Goddess Band, or Bracer of Kings provides 50% Hypnosis/10% Brainshock.  If none of the previous 4 things are equipped, then the character will have 99% Brainshock resistance, but no Hypnosis resistance.

Also, the travel & great charms do not provide 100% paralysis protection.

A few random thoughts/tips:

- With paralysis protection & no hypnosis protection, Evil Eyes in Onett are mostly harmless.

- The very first time Jeff tries to fix an item, it will always work.  Perhaps he could grab the broken iron in Brick Road -- it only need 10 IQ to fix to the Slime Generator.  Or, he could maybe grab the HP-sucker in Belch's factory.  Both can work as long as the enemy's Luck is less than 80.  In particular, I've noticed that the Petrified Royal Guard's luck is only 7, giving the items a (80-7)/80 = 91.25% success rate.  Of course, I guess that Jeff will be reserving most of his inventory space for Multi-bottle rockets.  Perhaps Paula could snag the Monkey's Love (identical to Slime Generator).

@Lucid: Did I post my new route up to Peaceful Rest? I can't remember, but if I did, did you happen to bring eggs with you when you left Twoson to go to PRV?

This whole game is too random as it is. The beginning is the hardest, but there are a lot of other parts in the game that would take a lot of luck to get through. Ampharos and I tried to decide on the best "your sanctuary" route, and the one we decided on required a lot of luck since we skipped Rabbit Cave and came back later I believe.

Also, yes, 32 minutes at PRV is very good. The problem is, we can't restart like emulators can (unless you restarted like a normal system would in your test run). Getting to Twoson is a pain in the ass. After you get Jeff, things get much easier (Paula has more PSI attacks by then).

@Floogal:

Those are great stats, and thanks for the link, that is what we've been trying to figure out for awhile  Tongue

Monkey love might not be worth it, as that takes time to get (watching the cutscene). Fixing a broken item would work best when we sleep (possibly get it fixed in Saturn Valley before we leave to return to Threed).

The stats you provided about resistance is intriqueing, but I'm not sure how much that will help. Still good to know, though.

Has anybody tested to see if walking through walls works on a system or not? Does it work on an emulator, though? If so, it should work on a systme. If noone can, then I will try to soon. I hope it works as that will open up a lot of things to explore that we can skip all over this game. Getting to Paula early going through that wall in PRV is probably the best one so far, not sure how many other walls are skinny like that, that we can glitch through. Oh well.
I'm sure I've made it to peaceful rest sub 30 minutes before...

Has anyone mentioned how to go about leveling up in Giant Step cave? I always leveled till the attack slugs were afraid of me and tried to get green screens on each of them. It's great for leveling up since they give 50xp each if I recall right.

If you get strong enough it might make it easier to speed through later portions.

Other places to train would be blue blue village on the crazy fanatics and on foppy's anywhere you can find them...

I've done some checking on PK Hack...

Attack Slugs give 27 exp. each.

If I'm reading PK Hack right, then Attack Slugs run from Ness when he's at level 6 or higher, Rowdy Mice run if Ness is level 7, and Black Antoids run if Ness is level 8 or higher.

Unfortunately, attack slugs aren't very common -- they only appear 25% of the time over other enemy types.  Looking at the enemy placements, it seems that the best way to level is constantly exit/enter the side-cave at the very far left of the lowest level -- if slugs appear, engage them.

Also, that plus at level 8, we are attacking Titanic ant, unless leveling up would be beneficial for the Police fight, maybe? Should we level before Frank to make up for some of the grunt work in the cave for both Titanic and the Police?

I think I used to exit and enter that same part of the cave when I would level up on my files. That would be good, as long as you could get a lot of lucky battles with 3 or 4 slugs at a time. 5 might be hard to get, and 6 is really hard to get, depending on where you are in the cave.

@Tiger: Those two places to train in you suggested have been mentioned before on this thread, but still good to bring back up, nonetheless.
it may definitely save time to level before Frank...

The best way to find out would be to try a run using luck manipulation vs. bosses and then to try a run using advanced leveling and see which is faster. I don't have a copy of Earthbound right now so I can't help you with that...
Glitching EB 1 flying man at a time
I know, it's ok. I'll check it while I'm out of town this weekend and all next week. Luck manipulation with Frank is a pain in the ass, but I'll just have to see, seeing as how usually when I fight him, I practically already have my Special with Ness. It's not really Frank I'm as worried about, though, as much as the Police. Even at level 8 and hardly any hamburgers, those guys are insane. But I'll still test whatever routes I can and time them.

What would be a reasonable level to get to if I was to test it with leveling before Frank?

I'll also check on the "walking through walls" theory for the SNES, since it might be harder to do than on an emulator.
I haven't played in so long but 5 or 6 would probably kill him really fast.
I can't remember... are the police right after Frank or is Giant Step?
The police are after Giant Step, and on that note, you should really watch the rejected run. Anything it does fast you also need to do, and anywhere it's slow you need to go faster. Onett is really quite unfairly hard, especially Frank, but you'll have to just get lucky against him if you want a competitive run. You really have to just about kill yourself to get to Threed, but then the game gets a good deal easier in some ways, though the rejected run got worse as it went so you really can't let your effort drop off (avoiding random encounters becomes simultaneously harder and more important).

Right after Giant Step, and we will only be at level 8 (level you get your PK special). I know it took evil_ninja a lot of restarts to get a good fight with the police, but I feel we wouldn't have to level up a whole lot after that if we get at least one more higher (depending on how lucky you get with slugs in the cave).

Leveling up after the Titanic Ant, maybe, or is that pushing it a little?

Lelel 5 would probably be good, 6 would take too long I think, off of just sharks (and if you fight more than one at once, it's a pain).

Yeah, I go either way with that. I know it would make a competitive  run if we kept up with the levels he had along the way, but think of how much time we can save later on in the game (especially using the wall glitch).

I have a file where I have been speedrunning kind of, and I got past Frank and Titanic Ant, but the damn police are just pissing me off. No matter how many times I restart it, I never get a good fight. Should I buy more hamburgers or just stick with what I have? I am on level 8, I don't believe I went any higher, not sure.

Once I get past the police, I'm pretty much set to go with the rest of the game (it is so much easier with Paula even in the beginning).

So, should I just stick with what evil_ninja did up to the point where we changed a few things in the route to help much later on, like buying eggs and such?
Yeah, I said it.
What exactly is the point of raising and selling chickens? Money is tight, sure, but what are you planning to do with that money?
Remember that level multiples of 4 provide larger-than-normal level-up bonuses.  As a result, level multiples of 4 + 1 (5, 9, 13, 17, etc.) provide less-then-normal level-up bonuses.  Keep in mind that you also need to keep track of the levels certain PSI attacks are learned.

So I don't think going above level 8 for the police would be worth it.  But, maybe earning a little experience so that you level up mid-way through some fights...

You know, I just came up with an idea for chicken money: Lucky Sandwiches.  Apparently, there are six different items all named "Lucky Sandwich," and you're randomly given one of them when you buy them from a store.  So once you've got it, its effect won't change.  Here are the varieties (note that they won't work for Poo):
- recovers 60 HP
- recovers 240 HP
- recovers full HP
- recovers 5 PP
- recovers 20 PP
- recovers all HP + PP

Now, at the end of an easy segment, you could buy a Lucky Sandwich and then save.  Then try using the sandwich to see what effect it gives -- if it's not what you want, simply redo the previous (easy) segment.

The earliest place you could feasibly do this is at the Happy Happy Village drugstore.  Now, where could a complete HP/PP recovery item come in handy?
I figured most extra money would go to Jeff ammunition, but that Lucky Sandwich proposition sounds pretty solid as well. Yeah, since you save in the HHV Drug Store and have infinite money in the village (you can sell standard eggs or bananas as well if you want), you could stock up on Lucky Sandwiches there by making a Lucky Sandwich buying segment its own segment.

Hopefully that won't lose too much time dedicating one segment to buying lucky sandwiches. Given the amounts of HP you listed that each effect recovers, I'd say that recovering with HP and/or PP that high (or low depending on luck) would be better used in Threed or on the way to Belch.

I know we talked about extra money for buying more Big Bottle rockets and such for Jeff or something early on, or for when fighting the "Sanctuary" boss later that was skipped, to make the later boss fights go much smoother than some of evil_ninjas.

I can't remember what exactly we talked about, and I don't feel like going back and reading that many pages so.... I just think we decided to have it help only in the beginning (Twoson-Saturn Valley), not beyond that since we will have plenty of money by then.
One other possible use for money -- buying weapons for Paula.  The only use for this would be to abuse green-swirl wins for easy exp. after beating a sanctuary boss.  The offense-gain for Paula could mean the difference between instant-winning the fight or not.
I think the biggest thing with money is the fact that we decided that the rejected run fought WAY too many random battles. We'd have way less money than him for the whole game start to finish so yeah, that was the big factor. In any test run, I'd suggest scrounging extra money like that and just holding onto it while marking down how much you have when. There's not a lot of randomness in what you fight in this game so you could very feasibly plan exactly which enemies you were going to fight and have a very exact plan for both experience and levels. It's not "fight in Giant Step until level X"; it's "fight exactly X number of these very specific types of enemies in the exact place they always spawn". Really, a route for this game could reasonable be done like that, and everything we did prior was trying to help set up a skeleton for that sort of thing (well, that's what I was trying to do). The exact specifics could only really be hammered out by test running.

You're right, and it's a good thing that slugs tend to appear a lot right before the cave exit to that strip of land that has the butterfly about 75% of the time or so.

I didn't do a whole lot of testing like I thought, but I did look at the walk through walls glitch that was found a few weeks back, and I have to say, that is one hard glitch to pull off. I mean, I think someone would go insane before being able to do that everytime in a run (especially the segment going from Twoson to Happy Happy Village). Though the wall you walk through that goes straight to the house that Paula is kept in is very convenient, and skips a lot, I don't know the exact positioning, so I think I lose more time trying to figure out how to get through it than going around (plus it really aggrivates me trying to do it).

The wall you walk through in the Mondo Mole cave, though, is much easier to do, and will save about 5 minutes maybe, mostly because before that you have to go around enemies, and try to make sure none appear, etc.

I'm glad Floogal emailed all of us that asked for it, the spreadsheet. That, if any, will really help when planning the run through Onett since after that we will know what to dodge, and what not really (ninja fought more than he should have in PRV before Happy Happy Village).

I like your idea of writing down money as I go to see what more I need, though, and I will probably include approximate amounts in the route to give people an idea of the range I'll have to buy stuff at certain points in the game.
I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
I've just recently gotten into this game, and I think it's a perfect candidate for a single segment run (seeing Essentia's FF6 run has inspired me :))

I've just completed a test run through on an emulator, using save states, to get a basic idea of the best route, and the best item usage, as well as what is and is not possible. I typed up a little over half of the full route just now, and I'm going to type the rest of it tomorrow, please feel free to give suggestions, ask questions, etc.

- Grab and equip Cracked Bat
- Talk to Pokey outside, come home
- Answer door, speak to mother, phone, leave with Pokey
- Fight any enemies on route to Meteor, try to avoid snakes (want to get at least one Cookie from a crow)
- Grab Bread Roll
- Get Buzz Buzz
- Fight Starman Junior (auto battle)
- Bring Pokey and Pickey home
- Get Baseball Cap
- Buy Tee-ball Bat, sell Cracked Bat
- Fight all sharks outside the arcade (it's quite important to make sure you only fight one at a time)
- Fight the two sharks in the arcade (should have a couple hamburgers right now)
- Heal with bread roll, fight Frank/Frankystein II (shouldn't be too hard to win, most important thing is to heal every other turn against Frankystein II)
- Go back inside arcade, then out back to heal with Frank
- Get key from mayor
- Buy Cheap Bracelet
- Go up to Giant Step
- Run through Giant Step, collecting the Skip Sandwich and the Hamburger
- Fight Attack Slugs and Black Antoids until level 9 (go back and forth between the butterfly area outside and the hamburger room)
- Heal HP and PP fully before going onto the boss, make sure to only fight single enemies between healing and the boss, for instant wins
- Kill Titanic Ant (PSI Rockin, heal with hamburgers)
- Realize Giant Step
- Fight until level 11 (I think it was level 11 that was enough to squeak by the cops)
- Heal at Frank, fight cops (save PSI Rockin for Captain Strong)
- Leave Onett, get Exit Mouse and Hamburger along the way (avoid the enemies using the Skip Sandwich)

- Withdraw all money from the Hotel
- Rent the Bike, avoiding the photo man
- Ride the Bike to Apple Kid's house, give him a Cookie and 200$, get receiver phone.
- Get Mach Pizza's Phone number
- Ride Bike to Peaceful Rest Valley, avoiding enemies
- Go to the Pencil Statue, avoiding enemies
- Back to town, get the Pencil Eraser from Apple Kid, Fight Everdred (good exp, easy fight), buy 3 eggs
- Go through Peaceful Rest Valley, avoid enemies as well as possible, ESPECIALLY TREES, get hard hat
- Enter Happy Happy Village (I think the wall glitch here would take too long in a single-segment, and the extra experience from the second trip through the cave will be

beneficial.
- Sell the 3 chickens, buy Sand-lot bat and Copper Bracelet
- Fill inventory with eggs, save two spots
- Go get Franklin Badge, fighting all enemies on the way, and way back, avoid photo man
- Enter Carpainter's headquarters, go through maze, grab Skip Sandwich (for monkey cave)
- Defeat Carpainter, rescue Paula
- Withdraw all money at the store, buy Copper Bracelet and Ribbon for Paula
- Go through Lilliput steps, fight moles and bats to get Paula exp, but avoid the bears (not going to use the wall glitch, because it's too hard, and I need the exp anyhow)
- Grab PSI Caramel
- Fight Mondo Mole (Paralyze it, PSI Rockin, bash, and PSI freeze)
- Realize Lilliput Steps
- Exit mouse out
- Go back to twoson, avoiding as many enemies as possible
- Get Wad of Bills from Everdred
- Go to Runaway Five show, avoid Photo man
- Pay off the debt, take the bus to Threed

- Go directly to the graveyard, grabbing the Insecticide Spray on the way, probably will have to use this against a group of No-Good Flies
- Go to Hotel, get ambushed, Communicate with Jeff
- Have Jeff grab 2 cookies, get key from Maxwell
- Go to lockers, get Bad Key Machine from Maxwell, grab Pop Gun and Holmes Hat
- Buy bubble gum, get the monkey
- Go sleep at the Tessie watcher's tent, fight any unavoidable enemies on the way
- Ride Tessie
- Enter brickroad's maze without triggering the goat
- Go through the maze
- Go to Rainy Circle, grab Hamburger and Bottle Rocket on the way through, fight Moles and Black Antoids only (pretty sure these are the enemies here, haha)
- Go to Dr. Andonuts Lab, heal, fly to Threed
- Buy 3 Bottle Rockets for Jeff from the arms dealer
- Go to ATM in drug store, buy Sand-lot Bat for Ness, Copper Bracelet for Jeff, sell chickens
- Defeat Boogey Tent (2 Bottle Rockets, PSI Rockin, PSI Fire), collect Fly Honey
- Receive phone call from Apple Kid, wait in front of tent for Zombie Paper
- Place Zombie Paper, stay at the Hotel
- Call your mother on the way out (don't want to get homesick)
- Enter Graveyard
- Try to avoid as many enemies as possible, don't get into fights with more than one enemy
- Grab Skip Sandwich DX and Silver Bracelet (equip it on Paula)
- Kill the mini slime (PSI Rockin, Bottle Rocket, PSI Freeze)
- Use Skip Sandwich DX to speed through Grapefruit Valley, avoiding all enemies (they're too strong)
- Grab Bomb and Protein Drink on the way through (protein drink is for the monkey cave)
- Go through the cave to Saturn Valley
- Speak with the Mr. Saturn who gives you the password
- Rest at the Inn
- Call Mach Pizza on the way out (small pizza)
- Go to the waterfall, fight the roaches in the cave, avoid all of the enemies outside)
- Receive the pizza, wait for the rest of the 3 minutes, enter waterfall
- Go straight through Belch's Factory, fighting any and all Fobbies on the way, heal fully at the Butterfly room
- Try to avoid the small slime enemies, and flies
- Give Fly honey to Paula, fight Belch (fly honey, PSI Rockin, PSI Freeze, Bottle Rocket if you've got one left)
- Go through the Cave to Saturn Valley, clean off in the hot spring
- Withdraw all money from ATM, buy Silver Bracelets for Ness and Jeff, Great Charm for Jeff (little bit of extra speed for bottle rockets)
- Get the Saturn Coin from the saturn in the cave, equip it on Paula, throw away the Stag Beetle he gives you
- Heal at the Inn, head back to Threed, take the bus to the desert
I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
- Buy Mr. Baseball bat for Ness in the drug store
- Fight the Mole, go right, past the monkey cave, until the horizontal rock wall turns up
- At this corner, walk up and down between cacti until a Criminal Worm appears, Green Screen insta-kill it for mega exp
- Follow the rock wall to the right, avoiding all other enemies, grab the Big Bottle Rocket
- Go to gold mine, give Gerardo the boiled egg, go through the tunnel to fourside
- Go speak with the manager of the Toppola theater, learn of the debt
- Go back to the Gold Mine
- Using the map at Starman.net, take the following route: (fight only single enemies in this dungeon, and kill them with bash and PSI Freeze, avoid all others)

- Go up to Ladder D, fight the Guardian near the IQ Capsule (don't bother taking it), kill him with a Big Bottle Rocket
- Go left to Ladder C, take the path all the way down to the bottom, loop back up and to the left, grabbing the Big Bottle Rocket

- Go to the department store, withdraw all money from ATM
- Go to the arms dealer, sell any unneeded equipment
- Buy 2 Super Bombs (make sure Jeff gets 2, and Ness has the one you picked up earlier), buy 8 Big Bottle Rockets (shouldn't need this many, but they're cheap, so better safe

than sorry)
- Make sure that Paula has none of the following items - Big bottle rockets, Super Bombs, Ruler, Protractor, Pizza, Protein Drink, Skip Sandwich, Pencil Eraser
- Try to leave the department store, paula gets kidnapped
- Go upstairs, avoiding all enemies (the first 2 floors are usually very easy, especially given that the enemies only move in straight lines. They usually rush you at the top of

the escalator on the third floor, so you've just gotta run from them and PRAY that you escape before you get owned)

WALL OF TEXT'd

Oh, and for the record, I don't actually own this game, but if my test runs on the emulator go well, then I'll definitely be buying it within the next few months.

On that note, does anyone know if it's coming out for the virtual console? I've heard people talking about that, and I think I'd much prefer to buy it on there than shell out for a rare SNES copy.
Glitching EB 1 flying man at a time
Just wanted to say good list so far (I'd help out with it a little if it wasn't so late responding to this post) and good luck with this run if you ever get around to it. I love this game to death, and would love to do a run myself, but I don't have much time with school starting back, and this game  being as random as it is, kind of got to me a lot (I'd go insane with a game like this after awhile), as well as planning a route. I've never planned a route before. I don't care who does this, it would just be nice to see a run of this on this site finally. Cheesy

Also, the wall glitch in Mondo Mole's cave is really not that hard and takes very little practice. I can get it within a couple of seconds everytime I go in there (got it very first try easily). It is much easier than the other one, not hard to do at all, SS or segmented. I know Paula leveling is important, though, but only so much. I would recommend it more for segmented, though, but it could go either way probably with leveling, since you could more in the beginning.

I'll comment more on this tomorrow, when it's not 3 in the morning lol. Hope you get a chance to work on this, if not, hopefully someone will take your route into consideration and use it (might need a little spicing up, but since it's your own, you know what to do, but might help other people).
Quote:

Clumsy Robot starts with a PSI shield, so PSI Rockin won't deal any damage to it.  You'll probably have to use a normal attack instead.

(Also, it's possible to teleport from the Monotoli helipad after you tell the Runaway Five you need to go back to Threed.  This is obviously not viable in realtime, but I thought I'd correct that statement while I'm here.)

Finished writing up the route:

- Get the Stoic club's number in Toto, make sure to avoid photo man
- Call the Stoic club from the museum

- Dance in front of the Sphinx, enter pyramid
- Try to avoid fighting as much as possible in here, I found that the only truly necessary battles were the first time through the Tomb room, the boss, and the enemies in the

long tunnel at the end. The rest can be avoided by using skip sandwich DXs and deftly maneuvering around them (requires a lot of practise to get consistent)
- Kill the boss with Big Bottle Rocket, PSI Freeze, Bash with Ness
- Collect the Speed Capsule(use on Jeff), Cup of Life Noodles, Hawk Eye, and Diamond Band (Equip on Ness) on the way through

- Get Dungeon Man to follow you, take him into the palm trees, talk to Tribesman about getting submarine, re-enter Dungeon Man
- Go to ATM and withdraw all money, heal at the bench, go back up Dungeon Man, fighting any enemies on the first floor, but avoid enemies on the second floor, too difficult for

now
- Drop through the Exit Hole (don't need to talk to Dungeon Man), Grab the Talisman Ribbon on the first floor and equip it to Paula, fight any enemies on the way to the

submarine

- Heal at the insta-revitalization machine, get the Eraser Eraser from No Name Mouse
- Go to Stonehenge
- Do not bother fighting anyone in stonehenge, all enemies can be run from fairly easily
- The easiest way to ensure an easy section is to wait for a starman to warp, and then touch it from the side, guarantees a green screen, which means guaranteed run
- Grab the PSI Caramel on the way through only if it's needed right then, otherwise don't grab any items
- Get an exit mouse
- Fight the boss, kill it with one Multi Bottle Rocket
- Speak with Apple Kid, Speak with Mr. Saturn for Saturn Ribbon (equip to Paula)

- On the Starman.net map, take the following route:

- Go left until the fork UP in the road, follow it to Ladder D
- Follow this path to Ladder E
- Take the Cup of Lifenoodles near Hole B, fall down Hole B
- Follow the path to Ladder G
- Get the Rabbit's Foot, equip to Jeff, equip the Night Pendant to Ness

- Take the shortest route to the boss, running from all enemies other than lone Soul-Consuming Flames (Kill with 2 Freeze Beta + Bash with Ness_
- Grab the Cherub's Band on the way through (only small detour), equip it to Paula
- Fight Carbon Dog (Have Ness constantly casting Lifeup Beta on Jeff, have Jeff use 2 Multi-Bottle Rockets, Poo and Paula Defend the first turn, then once Diamond Dog appears,

use Freeze with Paula, Starstorm or Freeze if low on PP with Poo)
- Realize Fire Spring (MAKE SURE Ness has got the Night Pendant equipped, the Franklin Badge, and at least one Magic Truffle, just to be on the safe side)

- Run through Magicant, get a Flying Man on your team
- Try to avoid as many enemies as possible, only fight single ? enemies (Mr. Molecule are good exp and easy, French Kiss of Death isn't hard, as for the Bomb throwing guys, just

kill them as quickly as possible and heal-up afterwards)
- Get the Magicant Bat and equip to Ness, also get the Magic Tart
- Try to avoid Krakens on the way through the Sea of Eden (I find the first one hard to avoid, the second and third should be easy though)
- If you fight a Kraken, just Bash it to death, don't waste PP except for healing
- Fight Ness' Nightmare (at the level Ness will be at here, he won't be able to out-pace the nightmare's healing; wait for the nightmare to waste all of his PP, using lifeup

- Ness gets powered up

- Run through the Cave of the past, getting the Legendary Bat for Ness
- Run away from all enemies (when fighting starmen, cast Shield Sigma before attempting to run)
- Right before fighting Giygas, heal everyone fully, use PP restoring items to bring everyone to full PP as efficiently as possible, try to spread the healing items around the

team
- Fight Giygas (attack heavily armed pokey with Bash from Ness, PSI Freeze from Paula, Multi-Bottle Rockets from Jeff, have Poo Brainshock Giygas, then PSI Freeze Pokey)
- In the second section, PSI Rockin with Ness (he'll probably spend most of his time healing though), PSI Freeze with Paula, Multi-Bottle Rockets with jeff, or use healing

items, Brainshock and PSI Freeze with Poo (this is the hardest section of the fight by far)
- In the final section, Pray with Paula, use Ness Jeff and Poo to keep everyone healed, and have Poo keep Giygas Feeling Strange
- Win

Nitrodon, you're right about the Clumsy Robot, I'm writing this route from memory, so hopefully I didn't make too many mistakes like that  Grin (Ness will Bash him instead)

By the way, great TAS Nitrodon.
