Wow, so very happy to see 1) poxnor doing this and 2) Chrono Cross!! Easily one of my favorite RPGs I cannot wait for the commentary. If only Xenogears wasn't so damn long...that would be awesome to see speed run

Any idea when we're getting the update on games? I've been practicing Ys kind of just assuming that with the amount of time we're missing there's a good chance we'll use it, but knowing if I can put that time towards Chrono Cross or if I should keep working on both would be useful.

Speaking of private threads - I'm still looking for someone to room with for the event. I won't be there until May 1st though. PM me if you need a room mate. I don't mind paying a couple of extra days. In addition, anyone know how the transportation arrangements are going to work when people arrive from the airport?

So I've been thinking - should we work on starting up a list of equipment and stuff (consoles, cables, games, etc) that folks are bringing and that we need? Either in this thread or in a private thread. It'd probably be good to do with the date approaching and such.

Well Unless someone else has a copy of Suikoden, I plan on bringing my PS3 since that is where my Suikoden is. It would be nice to have a backup in case of malfunction though.

If someone is bringing a Super Nintendo, I also am bringing my copy of Mystic Quest for SNES. Not planning on bringing a system though since I want to bring as little as possible since I am leaving Canada to fly to Vegas before going back home.

I'll be bringing my PS2 Slim 90k series for Chrono Cross and that can run most FDS PS1 games optimally.

I'll bring my own WA4 disc and controller. Its grooves are worn in so it feels natural to me...lol. Any chance we can get that schedule updated? If we're still missing times, maybe we can move some runs out of the graveyard shift?

I have to bring my PS3 with me because of SO4's lovely "save protection" so I can practice before the run with the saves I have. Don't own Suikoden though, but could grab it if needed (think it's like $6 on PSN). I'll also be bringing my wired 360 controller with me and can bring a 360 as well (though it'll be the original model, not a slim). Will also bring my PSP along with me.

I also have the following that I could bring:
SVideo/Component/Composite cable for Wii/360/PS3/PS2
Composite cable for PSP
PS2 Slim 90k

As a note, if there's going to be an LCD TV there for at least the marathon room that'd be awesome. SO4's text is somewhat small and doesn't like CRT's too much. :x

If people want to practice we're going to need a few extra consoles. I'd bring my PS2 70k as well, but I still haven't been able to track down the missing part of the powercord that vanished during AGDQ.

I'll have a 77K silver PS2 slim, 2 SNES (one a 101), a SFC, NES all local. 3 CRT TV's, and we could likely shift an LCD from the practice room into the main room for SO4.

Also Raelcun, same stupid thing happened to me (sans AGDQ part.) I ordered a generic from monoprice, works fine

Add GCN, Genesis, TG-16, Wii, and N64 for whatever reason we might need them (Quest 64 anyone?? No? ok...)

I messaged him on Facebook the other day and he mentioned to me that his computer and phone crapped out. He's working on building a better streaming machine for the event as well as actively seeking restaurant partners to help bring down food costs. He's just been in a technological bungle.

I'd like to make a Post With all the Games that are unfortunately going to be taken out of the marathon and a list of those people have said they could add in to replace them just to see how much time Gain/Loss will be recovered. I am unsure on all of those that will be missing out so If I miss one please tell me.
