My feelings on The Demon Rush
I have a confirmation that Hilton  for one or two people is 99/night and three or four people is 109/night with breakfast. I am going to confirm if that is hot breakfast, but afaik, it is. That pretty much seals it for me, especially since most people seem to agree that Hilton is a good choice.

Business lines: thadarkman78 is right, business packages tend to be expensive.
Worthless categories WR master
So it is barely more than last AGDQ right?
AGDQ 2014 was $82/night (number of people in a room didn't matter), plus a 12% tax, which is the same as the Hilton's.

Alright so it is more more than I remembered.

The Great Farming Empire
It's at least $75-100 more than last year. Wasn't there also a discount too at AGDQ 2014?
My feelings on The Demon Rush
StingerPA is correct. The Hilton room rate is more in line with SGDQ (which was also 109 a night iirc).

Sonikkustar: What do you mean? The restaurant here is also 15% off (albeit more expensive). If you mean room rate, the room rates we get from hotels are discounted from their typical rates.
The Great Farming Empire
I was just comparing the initial rates that you posted on the first post with the ones from last years at the Crowne. I didn't know about any sort of discount. I apologize if you were confused.
Doesn't know what to run
Any word yet on it being finalized?
Just to confirm cus I'm dumb and am not familiar with DC, the Hilton in question is the Alexandria Marks Center or whatever? Big shiny building?
Crawlathon WR, get down on my level.

Hm. Travelocity is onnvinced that's q51 a nigbt. I mean, I'm sure I'll have enough saved up by then for it to not matter. But still.
Oh wow sorry about that spelling. Convincrd* 151* night*
Ziggirawk, we'll be getting a special block deal for events that will reduce our rates.  That's where the $109/night comes from.  Also, you can edit your posts instead of double posting.
I was on my phone with a wet screen. Editing would have taken some precise taps that would have been impossible.

The $108 per night is for the entire room, right? So if you stayed for 3 nights with 3 people, splitting it up (disregarding tax) would be $108 per person for all three nights?

Or am I doin it wrong
All the things
That is correct. The hotel does not really care how the room costs are split, just so long as they get everything in the end.
My plan currently is to stay up for the first night and not actually check in until the 5th, then check out the 9th and stay up that night as well. So only pay for 4 nights. The website says there's a military family rate. I assume this applies to foreveralone individuals like myself and doesn't require you to have more than one person in the room.

Gotchya. That's incredibly affordable then, considering I already have a room of 4 planned out. I'd likely fork out more for a hot breakfast assuming it isn't a ridiculous amount.

My feelings on The Demon Rush
I'm still talking to PCF  (they're paying for conference rooms) and the Hilton about contract details. Also PCF is incredibly busy at this moment because they're going through an audit and their 5K walk/run is on the 21st.

About the hotel rate:

It is 99/night if you only want breakfast included for two people (I don't know if this means), it is 109/night if you want breakfast included for 3 or 4 people in your room, breakfast does not cost extra. And yes, that is the total price of the room (not including tax which is 12%), so if you split it up amongst 3 other people, then you pay for 1/4th of that a night.
So the hotel is definitely Hilton Dulles? Just wish to confirm as I am travelling from Australia and need to organise flights pretty soon.
SEGA Junkie
Even if it's not, I'd bet money on Dulles being your preferred airport to fly into.
Alright cool, thanks Mike
It's actually cheaper for me to fly into Reagan and take a cab. Don't know why, but not complaining lol.
My feelings on The Demon Rush
Yes, it's definitely Hilton Dulles. If you fly into Dulles then there will be a shuttle to take you to the airport.

ziggirawk: If you want to save money (though it's more time-consuming), you can take the metro out to the wiehle-reston station on the silver line, which has a shuttle to Dulles. What you could also do is you and a group of people flying into National could chip in for a Super Shuttle.
Just did a little digging, is it true that the Hilton Dulles doesn't offer free wi-fi?
