I'm going to offer the only game that I will be consistently playing / serious about for the rest of the year, Donkey Kong Country.  I am willing to run any of the 3 main categories, as well as race any of them.  Estimates include setup time.

Stream: http://www.twitch.tv/mundungu

Donkey Kong Country (Any% All Stages) [Estimate 45:00] - My current PB is 35:57, and I plan to at least get a 34 by the end of the year, and start going for the WR.  There have been a lot of new tricks added to the run since last year, so it should be a good watch.  I would like to race this with Garrison, Reflected, and any others willing to race if possible.

We can also do some donation incentives for this game with the following:

Donkey Kong Country (Any%) [Estimate 15:00] - This is the glitched %.  It could make a great side race if some of the good any% racers show up, like prs and Kerahime.

Glitched Croctopus Chase - This would just be a funny side glitch post run to show off.  There is a way to do the stage (which is basically a 2 min 15 second auto scroller) with the ostrich, and it makes for a cool watch.

And of course the main category itself would be a great donation war between Any% All Stages and 101%.

First time pitching for a marathon here! Would really love for a chance to run one or both games I'm pitching.

Twitch page: http://www.twitch.tv/Bizkit047

1. Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix (LV1 CM Data Organization RTA) [Estimate: 1:00:00, 1:15:00 with incentives] - Really fun category I came up with. I currently have WR for it, and Example video here of the run. It's fighting all the Data Org. battles in a row. I get great feedback from viewers on how intense the run is when I stream them. Donation incentives are fighting optional bosses Sephiroth and/or Terra at LV1.

2. Crash Bandicoot 1 (Any%) [Estimate: 55:00] - This would be pretty neat to see at a marathon imo. I don't have WR but I have 2nd best time in Any% currently. The only downside is I can't think of any donation incentive for the game itself, but I can probably think of something outside of the game if run is accepted.

Edit: Didn't see Cane pitch CB1 already, since it got accepted now no reason for this from me since he has WR.

Thanks for any consideration.

Heya guys, been practicing some stuff behind the scenes and looking forward to contributing to doing runs aside from labor at AGDQ this year~

Stream: http://twitch.tv/tbrx

1. Dishonored (any%) Estimate: 50:00. Very fast paced stealth-based game, with some humorous AI encounters. Basically, the whole run is a bunch of teleporting with some slaying. It is possible to deliberately go for the bad ending.

2. Blast Corps (any%) Estimate: 35:00.  Withdrawing, since 100%.

3. FEZ (any%) Estimate: 45:00 - It's Fez. The music, the gameplay, the environments, the nostalgia. Will be run on PC since it's dependent on the system clock. Run can also be adjusted to not "abuse" this mechanic.

4. DLC Quest - Estimate - (12:00 any%, 15:00 100%), with added content (35:00 any%, 45:00 100%) - This game is a silly platformer that pokes fun  of the modern state of gaming, and takes a humorous approach to it. This run optimizes coin collection and will contain no sound or animations, which opens up donation incentives as well. The Addon content is longer than the main game, the 45:00 is a good estimate for both games. Could be considered an awful game done quick.

I don't know if my last game will be "allowed" However..it puts a spin on things.

5. Black Mesa (scriptless, any%) Estimate: 2h 10m - For those unfamiliar, this is the fan remake of HL1. This run can utilize scripts, and I can learn w/ scripts if enough demand and game is selected. Main problem being that the mod is "incomplete", no "zen". However, if Zen is finished by AGDQ...I'm sure it won't be too long to be included in!

Looking forward to AGDQ!
Poverty runner
So I'm finally going to this thing after trolling streams for so long. Yay? Anyway, here's my potential list of stuff:

1. Hook (estimate: 20 minutes) - This is a fairly straightforward platformer but it looks pretty cool once every piece falls into place. It's also fairly short so it can be thrown into almost any block easily.
2. TMNT2: The Arcade Game, co-op (estimate: 45 minutes) - This would be played with Oozaroo. The estimate is taking into factor major RNG trolling. Donation incentive can be about which turtles we get to use.
3. X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse (estimate: 30 minutes) - Crazy high execution because of shoddy input recognition, crazy RNG, hilarious game when it trolls people and really cool when everything goes right. Incentive opportunity with trolling on which character gets to do the Magneto stage and ends up fighting Magneto.
4. Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg (2 hours) - I've been working on this on and off for a while and practicing it. It's a pretty interesting game with a lot of neat tricks. The whole setting is silly as hell tho, and I wouldn't be surprised if this got sent to Awful GDQ.

Uncanny isn't it?
http://www.twitch.tv/fuzzey_ninja

Both offerings are probably going to be labeled too obscure, but what can it hurt to try.  Hopefully the pitch will at least get some people to look into them Smiley Videos not available until I get back home from my family's vacation.

1. Bram Stoker's Dracula [Estimate 25:00] - SNES game that is near and dear to my heart for reasons I don't understand.  A game based on a movie based on a novel written in 1897, you play as Keanu Reeves aka Jonathan Harker, your everyday lawyer turned vampire hunter on a mission to slay Count Dracula and save your girlfriend.  An action platformer with many questionable design choices.

2. Incantation [Estimate 25:00] - Released for the SNES after the N64 was already on the shelves, this beautiful platformer tries to capture your heart... and then you fight the bosses.  The Developer, Titus Software, gave us this rare gem just a few years before they blessed us with Super Man 64, and the rest was history. Has a good pace and it looks nice, the only stale things about it are the enemy/boss variety.
First time pitching for a marathon. Gonna stick with what i know and that means only one game

Stream: http://www.twitch.tv/krauser318

1. Super Metroid Any% [Estimate:50:00] Being running this game for almost a year, i consider myself consistent enough with it. I have being getting good times lately and would be happy to run it at AGDQ. But having  a 4 man  race ,would be much better since more  riskier strats (plus more tight execution) will be shown instead of doing a "safety route".

Claimh Happy
www.twitch.tv/marche_fighter_paladin

Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land - Kirby any% [50:00] - It's been a long time since this game has been done as kirby, I think it deserves a more serious run. High estimate is to allow for a 100% donation incentive. Metaknightmare is too casual.

Zelda: Oracle of Seasons - any% [2:30:00] - Meba already sold this, I guess I'm just putting myself out as a backup runner if he can't make it.

Dustforce - both of these estimates are very generous because it's a PC game

1. SS All Levels [1:20:00]  - I want revenge on this run. I'm already a lot better than I was during the SGDQ run and I intend to have a pb under an hour by September.

2. any% [1:00:00] - This will be part of SRL Season 2 so it will have a good deal of popularity. In addition Hitbox is planning an update to the game which they've confirmed will not affect the run and will introduce a wider audience to the game (they haven't given specifics, but we think it's a console release).

Sonic Adventure DX

All Stories [3:00:00] - Exactly what it says. Showing off all six of the game's unique characters (plus Last Story). If venick comes he could take over for Amy's Story because he's unquestionably the best at it.

Big The Cat's Story [15:00] - If he's coming, race with Adam. This is more something for a bonus game incentive. Although a planned rematch race would be cool, too.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

1. any% [5:30:00] - I'm glad you rejected all the inferior mainstay FF games, makes me confident you're ready for this gem. 2 hour grindfest of glory to provide maximum entertainment. Donation incentives include Clan Name and punching me in the face for running the game during AGDQ.

2. True Ending [20:00:00] - This is a fairly new category,  but since I know how much you want this game I thoguht I should give you a longer option for the game. This would make for a good finale imo with strong donation incentives for what hat the person punching me in the face will wear. I feel confident I can bring this game down to a thoroughly impressive 19:50:00 by AGDQ.

Mega Man X4  Estimate 55 minutes: Alright this game was received really well at SGDQ. It was extremely hyped and everyone told me at the marathon and through social media it was a hype run. The two incentives brought in over 700 dollars just for one cutscene and a small cosmetic change. 5 minutes before this post I just got a sub 41 on Zero 100%. I am offering an X vs Zero Bid War for this game. I think the bid war can get chaotic especially with the money my viewers proved they will throw around for me as well as a hype run regardless of which character I use. Plus having the last best X game with the first three X games would make an exciting and proper Mega Man block.

Quote from Dime:
Ultimate Doom PC (UV-Speed) [Estimate 40 minutes]: One of the most competitive speedrun games of all time.

How would you feel about a race? Smiley My PB for all 4 episodes is 28:49 and that was set way back just after AGDQ '13. I know Dime's PB is 27-something so I think we're fairly close. I think this would make an exciting race.

Quote from ShadowWraith:
Doom 2 [Estimate: 40:00] - It's Doom. Current best time is 31:21 game time, with deaths. (something like 34-35 realtime I'd guess) Coop very possible if another runner shows..

Yo.

My old recorded PB is 37:00 (real time) on the dot, which is pretty subpar by my current standards (I used to practice off-stream without a timer and I know I've gotten a better run, so I don't know what my actual PB is Lips Sealed ) Anyway, co-op is really neat because it ramps up the monster count and weapon spawns, which means a lot more rip and tear. Also, Doom allows up to four players co-op, just sayin'. Tongue

My other game offers:

GTA2 [55:00] - old-school GTA, very fast-paced and action packed. I have the current single-segment WR at 35:27. Maybe it could maybe be a bonus game?
Gameplay:

Call of Duty [1:55:00] - This one's a shot in the dark. There's been some neato OOB glitches discovered recently, plus I know the newer games are "in" right now. I wouldn't mind this being a graveyard shift game.
Gameplay:

Both games are on PC.

Terraffirmative!
Alright, it’s time for this to happen.

forgot my stream. twitch.tv/murphagator

1. Two Crude Dudes [30 min] – 2Crude4U. Goofy animations, off-beat music, doesn’t overstay its welcome, fantastically horrible yet well paced combat. Plus you get to pick up and throw tanks! Personally, I feel like this is a super strong choice for awful games, and it sets up for the legendary data east block.

2. Dirty Harry [30 min] – Awful games block. The juxtaposition of how goofy this game is compared to the movie is in itself enough to sell this game for me. Odd game mechanics, really off the wall bosses (the toymaker? Really?) and a generally strange pace should make this disaster a blast to watch. Plus great NES voice acting to kick it off, and bionic Harry.

3. Battle Toads arcade [50 min] – Including this as a commitment. This game is about as unfair as a beatemup gets, with pretty much every random enemy easily able to take out your entire health bar. Battletoads is a name pretty synonymous in the gaming world with ‘unfair’ and I feel like that can carry it.

4. D&D:SoM [40 min] – I feel like most people have strong nostalgia for the 4p in this game, and as such I’d throw in my hat for that.

5. Ring of Red any% [60 hours] - The definitive ps2 RPG, after this I guarantee no one will ever want to see another RPG again. The game has limited donation incentives, but I feel the strong strategic gameplay and riveting story will push this through to be the most popular game at this or any other marathon.

Ring of Red 100% [100 hours] - For even more of the RoR action so many desire, the randomness involved requires a significant increase in estimate.

Ring of Red Power Shovel % [20 minutes] - basically like ring of red, except actually it would be me being involved with the power shovel race instead of trolling with a game that obviously won't be in.

I don't know any of the coop strats yet, but I'd be hype for this.
Hello! Here is the only speedrun I do and i'd love to play at AGDQ!

http://www.twitch.tv/thatsfairzack

1) Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals - Ancient Cave any% Jelly Defeated [Estimated 3:00:00] This game is really fantastic and a missed gem of it's age. I know it's not the main game but the Ancient Cave minigame provides 99 floors of RNG random fun that's NEVER the same twice. Run is never a guaranteed win and there are no safety saves. There are safer strats but being so random and dangerous is what makes this run hysterically entertaining and suspenseful!

Donation Incentives would include 5 letter character name replacements for the main character Maxim, and one of the Capsule Monsters that fight with you. (This name appears during every action it makes)

I'am currently the WR holder of this run. Thanks for reading I appreciate it!
twitch.tv/linkdeadx2

I am very well known in the SMW community and would like to offer the following categories in Super Mario World.

1. 96 Exit (100%) - 1hour 40minutes ... There are plenty of new strats since the last AGDQ and the category itself has become extremely optimized

2. No Cape No Starworld - 45minutes ... It is a visually appealing run(something about not caping over all the levels). Also plenty of new strats to see here Smiley

I love this game and play it wayyyyyyy too much, I offer only top quality runs.

OMG, That would be awesome, if he give you the true ending, I would be willing to race it with you!!! and we could set a donation goal that if it's reach, we both get punch in the face!
Insane Killer Robot
Twitch channel: http://twitch.tv/cyberbotx

1. Aquaria (PC/Steam) Estimate: 2:00:00 (maybe 2:15:00 because of incentives) - A very nice underwater Metroidvania with an amazing soundtrack. I'm working on derusting and testing a few route changes from my SGDQ 2012 run, including skipping the Sun Temple's puzzle by jumping over it. Possible donation incentives for Naija's memories and cutscenes, although the former needs routing done.

2. Jumping Flash! (PS1) Estimate: 0:30:00 or 1:00:00 (depending on category) - Early PS1 first-person platformer where you play as a giant robotic bunny shooting fireworks. The 0:30:00 estimate is for doing either Normal mode or Extra mode, while 1:00:00 is for doing both. I would say it'd be better to do one of the two instead of both, since Extra's levels are basically mostly one of either changing the start, end, and jetpod locations or modifications of the map in some rare cases. Incentive for bonus levels.

3. Kirby's Dream Land (GB) Estimate: 0:30:00 - The game that started the series, in it's monochrome glory. Estimate is high because I need to practice to clean up my play of the game, also possibility of doing Extra mode which would make it a bit more likely to get killed due to having 3 health instead of 6.

4. Solar 2 (PC/Steam) Estimate: 0:30:00 - You start off an asteroid and end up as a black hole creating a big crunch of the universe. High estimate because I have not routed the game yet, but a simple run just to go from asteroid to big crunch is about 20-25 minutes, it might take longer if the in-game challenges are also done and then you fight the "Entity" to get the credits, but how much longer, I'm not sure. Could be a donation incentive, but that could heavily raise the estimate, although it would also make the run more entertaining.

5. 1000 Amps (PC/Steam) Estimate: 0:55:00 - A little robot trying to restore power and order to the Amp Tree System, simple platformer. Your jump height for most of the run is determined by how much of the current room is powered on, some rooms needing to be fully powered in order to continue on, others can be left unpowered.
My feelings on The Demon Rush
Working through page 7 and going to bed after this. You guys will have to wait later  for most responses, but suggestions aren't closed.

Internetexplorer6: We had a run of Yoshi's Story at AGDQ 2012, and it didn't get a great response, I haven't really seen a ton of hype for Yoshi's Story since then, so I'm going to side on no for this one.

NeroMcNamara: Hmmm, God of War has a lot of cool shortcuts, and people really liked the GoW2 run at the last AGDQ (anyone who was up that is), but the donations weren't too strong. I'll add it to the list for now and we'll see for second round.

Cubeface:

System Shock 2: This got an okay response at AGDQ 2012, but I don't feel like it warrants another appearance, at least not now.

Hotline Miami: This did get a good response at SGDQ, so much so that it might be worth trying again.

Heretic:  Hmmmm, this is a good game, but my reservation is that it's like doom but not as popular. Might be worth trying anyway, adding it to the list, but it might not make it to second round.

Hexen: This is like a less popular Heretic, and  Heretic is already like a medieval cult-classic version of doom.

Another World: Huh, it'll be interesting to see if you or UA gets a better grasp of this game.

Kennyman666:

1. Rearmed: This is a good game, but it didn't get a great response at AGDQ 2013, and I don't think it should be in another marathon so soon, even as a different category.

2.  Rearmed 2: This is like a version of rearmed that isn't as well-liked as Rearmed.

3. this is a fun metroidvania game, but

4. Again, good game but

Also, I don't know how easy it is

5. Umihara Kawase - I don't think think this game neesds to be done again. It was fun playing it once.

SmashMastr98: We just did Luigi's Mansion at SGDQ and there's stronger 3D Mario (okay technically LM is not a mario game, but it's sort of like one) being offered.

Yashichi: The 3D Bomberman games didn't get the best of responses at SGDQ, and I haven't seen much hype build up since then. I'm gonna have to say no.

Portal 2 co-op, this is already in.

Blazze889: I already said no to Guacamelee.

Ovendonkey: I've seen some of the new Mirror's Edge tech and it's crazy, so much has happened since the AGDQ 2012 race.

ddaanniieell: If we can get a PC race setup, then I'd be down for a race.

Rin_Hoshizora: Already rejected Recettear. Definitely has a dedicated cult audience, but a speedrun has a ton of waiting and downtime.

Grief Syndrome: Too obscure.

Missy:

Lollipop Chainsaw is fun, but the game is pretty one-dimensional and repetitive once you get past the crude humor.

2. Huh, Professorbroman offered this game too and I think it would be a great comedy game.

3. Hmmm, I don't really know much about this game (just played the demo a bit), but it seemed somewhat slow-paced.

zex:

SOTN: Romscout said you were really good at SOTN and he said if you play the 360 version you might even be able to race mecha, or have a Alucard vs. Richter bid war (or both richter race vs alucard all relics).

Bangai-o: I love this game! BTW, have you seen MrMonkeyMan's IL videos? If not, I can show them to you for reference.

Miracle Girls: I have never heard or seen this game before. Do you have any footage?

Strider 2: Yeah I already rejected it, it's fast-paced and short, but I'm kinda ehhh on it otherwise because arcade games in the past have not had a great reaction, sadly.

Arconnect: Since someone else offered the original Cave Story on this page, I would rather consider that game because from what I've seen, the original Cave Story is regarded more highly than +.

kairos: Hmmm, this game looks pretty fast-paced and action-packed so I'll put it on the list for now.

Anatomyz: Paper Mario did do well last SGDQ

We can discuss Paper Mario versus Super Mario RPG later when the games topic has settled down a bit.

Shrimp:

Toki: Adam and I have discussed this game and we both agree it's not really a good choice for marathon. The game is funniest when people don't know how to play the game, the game looks like a slow, boring platformer when people do know how to play it.

Decap Attack: Ehh, this is a pretty average Genesis platformer to be honest.

Beethoven's 2nd: This game is kinda amusing, but it's not really super weird or awful.

Bombercules: Even with new tricks, I'm not really seeing the run being done at AGDQ again this year, maybe for another GDQ.

Mecha Richter:

Battleblock Theater: I've already talked with PJ about this, he said the two of you are going to look into any%

Pac-Man 2: hahaha this game is too funny. AwfulGDQ star material here.

Tomba!: Definitely a cult classic, but I'm not 100% sure about this game, maybe I'll watch a stream of yours sometime. I'll put it on the list for now, but no guarantees.

Castlevania SOTN: Well it sneaks into marathons one way or another.

thadarkman78: Okay I'll consider you and UA in for a race.

Xardion: This game definitely has awful games potential.

Captain Novolin: This game is also possible AwfulGDQ potential

m1_michael:

Already addressed System Shock 2

Cave Story:  There's been a lot of work done since Nitrodon was running this game. If someone really experienced like dbx/shmus comes along I might pass this game off to them though.

Resident Evil 4 (Wii/Xox 360/Playstation 3) (~ 01:45:00)

I am not used to the Game Cube version of this game thats why I suggested the other versions (with the special content). I raced this game successfully at ESA 2013 and got plenty of World Records in the course of this year. Two of them were submitted to Speed Demos Archive. I hold the following records:

RE4 Wii edition - Assignment Ada: 00:05:49 (Since 03/09)
RE4 Wii edition New Game + campaign: 01:34:26 (Since 05/13)
RE4 Wii edition New Game + campaign SS: 01:38:25 (Since 07/13)
RE4 HD New Game + campaign SS on Xbox 360: 01:31:41 (Since 08/13)

Two of them were recorded, got proof for the other two though. Will still improve them this year.

Doom 3 BFG Edition Lost Mission (~40 minutes)

Quite an unorthodox speedrun but I mastered this one last year. I got the world record twice in 2012 with a time of 31 minutes and 33 seconds. I will re-record this one in 2014.
If anything Mike I would be ok with making it a donation incentive and that way if it gets in then it was because the donors wanted it in and not just cause it was in the list already. In which case I would do the Cow run no matter what.

I dont think Grief Syndrome is that obscure, there are alot of videos of the game in youtube with 10-100 thousand views + there are few speedrunners for the game in twitch too.
I also think that the bid war will definitely bring money for the charity. If you reject the game based it only being "too obscure" and not showing it to a larger audience it will stay that way. Im only asking you to rethink your decision and trying something new, no one wants to see the same games over and over in these events. It could be good for bonus stream or donation incentive to see if people want to see a speedrun of it.
I am a speedrunner of GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark from the-elite.net.

http://www.twitch.tv/thebigbossman007 (don't currently stream)

Perfect Dark (Nintendo 64)

Perfect Agent [Estimate 1:15:00]
The game is similar to GoldenEye 007. I currently hold the WR at 56:04. The coolest trick in the game is being able to fall through the building on the first stage. It's a very high pressure strategy to kick off the run.

GoldenEye 007 (Nintendo 64)

Agent using 2 controllers CoOp with l34ssl3oost [Estimate 30:00]
I would be ok with doing this if other eliters aren't present or don't want to.

Agent Race [Estimate 30:00]
I could run this against l34ssl3oost/RWhiteGoose. These races are very close among top players.

We're made of star-stuff
Hey everyone! I currently don't stream, although I finally got all the necessary tech to do it, and I plan on starting before the end of the month! I only have one game to offer:

Ratchet and Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal  for the PS2 [Estimate 1:45:00]

I believe this game will be very good for AGDQ because it's very fast paced and action packed, requires a really specific and hard to execute path to complete a run quickly, and really showcases a lot of tricks that define what speedrunning is all about. It also has a "special interest factor" because it is a very popular series that not a lot of people associate with speedrunning, and Ratchets 1 and 2 have already been done at previous GDQ marathons.

If you want to see videos of runs I have done in the past, check out my youtube channel!

Thank you very much for your time, and have a lovely day. Smiley

1: Magicka (Single-player) [Estimate: 0:45:00] Ten times as stable as multiplayer, a 1P-run of this game is highly technical and contains loads and loads of fun skips and glitches. Fastest way of movement? Launch yourself by detonating mines right in your face.

Game is actively worked on so estimate will likely drop further. Will defer to sockfolder if he would sign up to run this game.

2: Serious Sam The First Encounter (Co-op with ShadowWraith) [Estimate: 0:45:00] The difficulty played would be Normal which enables rocket jumping and thus a lot of shortcuts.
Roses of May
i heard ths was long games done quick so i'm here to suggest xenogears [estimate:19 hours] Don't worry i got no incentives however everyone in the room will be able to read the text to get the full story of the game. we can put it after the 15 hour ff7 run if that's cool

1: Spongebob Squarepants - Battle for Bikini Bottom  [GC version, Estimate: 2:10:00]
Licensed Action/Adventure 3D platformer, and IMO the best Spongebob game made. Has a lot of fun glitches and skips that make the game incredibly entertaining to watch, and come on, who doesn't love Spongebob?
Snowboard Assassin
May as well try and give it a shot.

1. No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle (Wii) [Estimate: 3:35:00] - I don't believe I have seen it speed ran before on SDA, and it could very well be a nice addition to the group of Awesome Games. I am aware of it's M rating, so I wouldn't be objective if the game is played at night. Donation incentive to fight against the optional boss? (Kimmy Howell)

2. Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak (GBA) [Estimate 2:00:00] - Donation incentive to name Hamtaro and Bijou. Getting 100% is doable at this estimate. That makes the challenge of this game very small. What it can bring to AGDQ is an "oh so cute!" appeal.  I would love to narrate and explain the run and where I need to go. The game supplies a lot of puzzles and quick turns.

3. Mario Tennis: Power Tour (GBA) [Estimate 1:50:00] - Donation incentive to name the male/female playable character of choice. While a sports game can be time consuming and lengthy, my run of this game makes the matches go by quickly, and wasting time is no option.
