Yoshi's Story All Melons [2:20:00] - I have spent the past 6 months breaking this game and unleashing its true potential in a run of my own invention. This run requires extreme technical mastery and is packed full of skips and exploits that are often difficult to master.

Yoshi's Story All Melons (1-Lap) [40:00] - The abbreviated version of above. Less cool, but doesn't take up as much time. In this run you see fewer skips/exploits but an equivalent degree of technical mastery. This is actually a 25:00 run, but if chosen I would like to choose a more interesting level set to increase hype. Still, 40:00 is a very generous estimate.

Yoshi's Story All Melons (2-Lap) [1:00:00] - A happy medium between the two. :]

Here is a highlight reel, hopefully the gameplay speaks for itself.

Thanks for considering!
God of War 1 [2:00:00]

I love this trilogy and GoW2 was done last year. It will be played on God Difficulty (Very Hard) and will incorporate as many time saving glitches as possible.

Possible Donation Incentive: Cowmageddon, By playing as the Cow in new game plus I don't have to do the infinite magic glitch and it will open up a lot of room for other glitches.

For now I need the estimate that high because I still need to practice a lot of the time saving glitches. By the time the marathon rolls around I can almost guarantee that it will drop by at least 30 min.
Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/cubeface21

1. System Shock 2 (Impossible Difficulty) [Estimate 0:35:00] - This was the first game I started running; I quickly innovated the route made by Khanfusion, updating it with a few tricks. When I came into the scene for this game, M1_Account held the record of 26:09, I ran the game for 3 weeks and took it with a time of 25:58. I no longer hold the record, but I am still very competent in the game.

2. Hotline Miami (Any% NG+) [Estimate 0:35:00] - My time is getting very close to Duke_Bilgewater's record, I have no doubt that I'll at least match it soon. If Duke is going, I give this up to him.

3. Heretic (Smite-Meister Difficulty = Ultra Violence in Doom. Episodes 1-4) [Estimate 0:50:00] - I've still got a bit to learn with this one, but the game is very similar to Doom, and in a lot of ways more intense. There is item management in this game, more enemies, and longer levels.

4. Hexen (Medium Difficulty, Donation incentive for which class to play - Warrior, Cleric, or Mage) [Estimate 0:50:00] - Once again, still learning this game. There is a lot to learn between the three classes, but it's a very intense and fun run. Fast paced and exciting

5. Another World/Out of this World (Hard Difficulty on the 20th Anniversery Edition) [Estimate 0:20:00] - This game is interesting. It's not very long at all, and it's a fun watch. Also a lot of quiet time for donation reading,

1. Bionic Commando Rearmed [X360] - 100% - Estimate: 1:20:00
After doing any% on two marathons it's time to take it to the next level. I can promise quite a bit of fancy grappling. The estimate can probably be 1:15:00, but I have a thing or two to research more extensively before I'll feel safe with that.

2. Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 [X360] - Any% - Estimate: 1:30:00
More grappling. Has fun glitches. I've improved my PB a bunch repeatedly recently and can probably knock that estimate down another 5-10 minutes soon-ish. Potential for co-op shenanigans.

3. Ufouria: The Saga (PAL) [NES] - 100% - Estimate: 0:55:00
Sunsoft games for the Sunsoft god block! Since it's never been at AGDQ. The game has gotten some new tricks and skips recently-ish even if the big one is still unfeasible for non-TAS.

4. Little Samson (PAL) [NES] - Easy (with warps) - Estimate: 0:20:00
Speedrunning this seems to have gotten quite popular recently, even if most people play the NTSC version. But it's a good PAL conversion, and a very good NES platformer.

5. Umihara Kawase [NDS] - Shortest path - Estimate: 0:10:00
Including setup because it's a three minute run. To try again for the deathless at a marathon! Or...

Longest path - Estimate: 0:25:00
There's two longest paths of the same length, differing only by a few fields. I'm the most comfortable with the one called Bob's Path, but could do either. Very highballed estimate at the moment.

Luigi's Mansion Any% [1:06]/Luigi's Mansion 100% [1:24:00] This is Luigi's Mansion ive been running this game for quite awhile and its a pretty fun game to watch pretty straight forward and fast. and if there are any other LM Runners there it would be nice to race with them this could be a donation incentive between the two 100% is still about the same as Any% its just getting a bit of money to get the right amount for 100% it is still a entertaining and great run to watch

Here's what I've got for AGDQ

1. Bomberman Hero (Any%) [Estimate 55:00] - At SGDQ2012, Neskamikaze and Kirkq raced this on English. They both had their fair share of deaths. Wink Japanese BHero is faster and easier though. A safer, faster, and more interesting run of a past game seems pretty cool.

2. Portal 2 Co-op [Estimate: ??] Pykn has the information regarding this

Guacamelee [PC] any% Normal (1:10:00) or Hard (1:35:00)
I am the current record holder of both runs with a 1:04:49 on normal and a 1:26:29 on hard so I can be pretty confident the runs won't go completely bad.

Donation incentives could be for using certain costumes all run. It would slightly affect the time, but shouldn't too much.

My application should be also taken as tentative. As long as the location is not on the west coast travel should not be an issue for me.

My feelings on The Demon Rush
I'm aware some of my responses in the first page response post are incomplete, but I'm having trouble getting my edits through, just like everyone else.

2nd page responses:

Yazzo:

Maximum Velocity: Hmmm, I don't feel like this game is quite as strong as the console F-Zero games. I'll add it in for now, but I'm not sure if this will make second round.

Traackmania 2 Stadium: I talked to some Trackmania fans and while they love the game, they feel like this is really long for what it is, and it's a better game to play than watch, despite all the tricks.

EdwardFourZERO6: The original F-Zero sounds like a good addition.

Blechy:  While Ninja Five-O is pretty obscure, it is fast-paced and a good watch so I'll add it to the game list for now.

Coolkid:

1-3. All solid additions. I'm gonna add five minutes to Quake and Half-Life because PC games.

4. This game is kinda dumb, but I'm aware a bunch of people in the community like it, so I'll add it for awfulgdq for now.

Da1AndOnlySonic:

I don't really feel like those are especially strong sonic offerings, especially compared to what we had last year. Also, isn't Black Knight on Rails?

Well, we had Colors last year, but I don't feel like there's a whole lot new being offered with it this year, and it could take a break.

Svenne:

Super Mario Bros. 2: All levels is the best catego

North and South: Maybe as a bonus game with sound effects? It can't hurt since it's about 5 minutes.

Dragondarch:

MZM: Sounds good, but that estimate seems awfully high when judging against your PB.

Super Turrican: This is a great game, but unfortunately too obscure. Sad

Drakkhen: Uhhh maybe for Awfulgdq? Could be entertaining enough, maybe.

Castlevania: This is an interesting concept, especially since this game could use something fresh, but I know Josh could not figure out death when he tried low% on stream. I'll add it for now, but I'm a bit wary of this category because of death.

FFgamer86:

1. Sorry but of the PS1-era FF games FF8 is the weakest of them.

2. I'm aware this game has some cult-popularity, but among Final Fantasies and Square-Enix games I don't feel like this game is especially strong, especially in donation incentives.

3. Too obscure, sorry.

Otaku Gamer: Great game, but it's been done at the last two AGDQs and I don't see a whole lot new going on with it except for doing the main game, which as you stated, has additional downtime in between bosses.

Iongravirei:

1. This is a good short watch, but I think it had its run at SGDQ

2. I meant to say this to the first guy who offered. This is a good game, but it's not super well-known and I can't see it making it.

3. I feel like Dark Souls has overshadowed Demon's Souls in terms of popularity, and I'm not sure about Dark Souls yet again for a marathon (maybe all bosses if someone offers it?)

4. Mega Man Zero - It appears Kuribon offered it and we talked about it, so yeah, it looks like he'll be getting this once I get to his post.

InTheFlesh93: YI is almost always a good marathon addition, but it looks like more established runners have offered the game (Tri-Hex on this page, and apparently Zewing offered it on the next page)

Brossentia:

1. I think this game is worth considering for AwfulGDQ. It is pretty awful and funny.

2. Similar to 1.

3. IT'S ON. LET'S RIDE THE POWER SHOVEL!

Pheenoh: I'm aware you're the TP record holder, and All Dungeons would be a strong donation incentive, IMO. Put on the list.

TheOnlyOne: I don't know anything about Pikmin, but when I asked around some IRC channels and chats, everyone had a positive reaction to Pikmin 1 from a viewer's standpoint, and it definitely has an audience. Added to the list.

nmaster64:

1. No, I don't see this game being a very strong pick. I know it sold fairly well, but I haven't heard much about it speedrunning-wise.

2. This could work as a bonus game.

Darksaber: What I told the Otaku Gamer, sorry.

Kotti:

1. Consulted with some people and I feel that Hitman games aren't fun to watch unless if you're a fan of the series.

2. This is a good speedrunning game, but this might be a case of more fun to play than watch.

3.  This game has some nice tricks and good action, and Max Payne is a fairly popular series.

Radman: Speedrunner reviews of Remastered seem largely positive, and it seems to be getting good feedback and reviews overall. Added to the list.

Tri-Hex: YI 100% is always a hit, adding to the list.

Brossentia's double post: Yeah it's crazy how many good games there are, and I've only worked through the second post.

Mirror's Edge - Any% PC [Estimate 50:00] - A good run is closer to 40 minutes, but considering how hard this game is, 50 minutes should be fine.
I ran this during the bonus stream at SGDQ.  It seemed to be received well and I would love to run it again for the marathon.

Edit: I see ddaanniieell posted the same game right after me lol. I'd be up for a race with him, as long as we could race the PC version.

Mirror's Edge [PC] (gracious estimate- 55:00)- The meta-game for the PC version of Mirror's Edge has come a long way in the recent year, which would make a very entertaining run. Lots of new tricks and skips since my X360 run at AGDQ 2012. open to races if Prilt or anyone is coming to agdq

(i could also run it on 360 again if that is preferred for some reason. estimate would be about 1:10-1:15 for X360)

* edit: yea pc race would be nice : ) *

I got 2 games to offer.

1. Recettear: An item shops tale [estimate 2:10 worst case scenario any%] - A game where you sell items for the optimal price called Nearpin (get the max money and exp points).
You do some dungeons in the game but only in the very beginning of the game, the game is 80% random events like prices going up or down and 20% memorazing things and fast fingers to scroll the menus.
Race is possible if other runners show up and want to do it.

2. Grief Syndrome [Good for bonus stream] [Estimate 45minutes worst case scenario any%] - It is a side-scrolling beat-em-up featuring the characters of Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
It's fun to watch and fun to speedrun.
Donation incentive: Bid war against which of the 5 characters i play (can be narrowed down to 3).

All estimates include setup time. I will be streaming these games when i get my second monitor (should get it in 1-2 days)

Twitch page @ http://www.twitch.tv/otokonokohime Haven't streamed yet but I get equipment soon anyway here are my games:

[1] Lollipop Chainsaw (PS3) Any% [Estimate: 3:10:00] - for AwfulGDQ.  Lollipops, cheerleaders, zombies, and stupid humor. I'll come up with a prize for this game so people who put in donations during the run could get something.

[2] Surgeon Simulator 2013 (PC//Steam) Any% (Solo OR Co-op)  [Estimate: 00:10:00] - We use fire extinguishers and tomahawks in proper surgeries, not to mention we leave your old organs in there with your new ones so they can be buds.  Potential donation incentives could be to do the secret TF2 mission.  I've also got prizes for this game in mind.  Anyone want a meat scarf?

[3] Deadlight (PC//Steam) Any% [Estimate: 1:05:00] - Parkour that is dark, broody, and with lots of zombies.  It's a great narrative set in a post-apocalyptic world with lots of tense moments - not to mention, great voice acting.  I've been working on some art inspired by this game so that could go up as a prize, too.

Thank you in advance for allowing me the chance to offer up my games, and fingers crossed on being able to stay during bonus stream at AGDQ 2014!

Edit: ProfessorBroman and I talked, we're up to do a co-op run for Surgeon Simulator 2013.  Ridiculous keyboard/mouse sharing, anyone?
My twitch: twitch.tv/arconnect

Cave Story+ Estimate: 1:25:00 Best Ending All I can say is that this remake has never been seen at a GDQ. Some tricks have also been added since Cs's last appearance.

I can also race Zeph in Antichamber if you would like. Any style really.
http://twitch.tv/zexxxxxxx

1. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night [PSX] - Richter All Bosses (35:00)
I know Romscout is cooking up some potential shenanigans for this game, but I would just like to throw my hat in and offer my services for this category. Since Mecha ran this at AGDQ 2012 the run has changed quite a bit, with the addition of some new tech it is now faster and even more optimized. The last marathon run can be comfortably beaten even on the PSX version. The run would showcase a number of neat and different quick kills as Hydrostorm is only used on 3 bosses at the most, or 2 if I get a crazy lucky drop. I would also be comfortable playing the 360 version however.

2. Bangai-o [DC] - (50:00)
This is a very fun game to watch, and might be appropriate for a WTF Japan block, but it is a very solid game on its own terms. There is a decent variety of levels, and it is pretty much non-stop action and sensory overload. Boss quick kills come from manipulating the bomb mechanic to get as many missiles on screen as possible which looks great. This is probably the closest thing to a shmup I think we could ever do in a marathon.

3. Miracle Girls [SFC] - (20:00)
A cute side scroller where you throw candy at animals, have psychic conversations with your nee-chan, and chase an anthropomorphic bee around with a water gun. Definitely a WTF Japan game or AwfulGQD (although I think its pretty good :p )

4. Strider 2 (PSX) - (15:00) any% or (25:00) all levels (race w/ a friend or whoever)
I think I saw this offered earlier in the thread, but I have been working on this game for the past few months. Very fast, and makes for a very hype race. Also I think it has good crossover appeal to the FGC.

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast (PC) (Estimate 1:10:00) Difficulty: Padawan (Easy)

First person shooter based on iD Tech 3, lots of platforming and execution based gameplay. My personal SS time is 53:04. AI is guaranteed to be obnoxious and funny. The game is full of action and hardly ever slows down, so it definitely won't be boring.

Preview of the run: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xb3jyv7diwirnf3/agdq2014_HQ.mp4

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (New Game, Hard) [Estimate 1:40:00] - Fast paced lightning-bolt action. See this ninja run, jump, cut his way to victory. This run has come a long way over the past months since the game was released and I'm still trying to improve it.
http://www.twitch.tv/anatomyz

Paper Mario Any% [2:45:00]

Given the success of Iateyourpie's run at SGDQ, I feel as though running Any% at AGDQ would be a good choice. I've been the world record holder in every category of PMario for around 3-4 months. Any% is an hour shorter than All Cards, and will showcase a few major sequence breaks and skips not shown at SGDQ. Iateyourpie has also spoken to me about racing against him at AGDQ, which I would definitely do as well if he was still willing. An idea for a donation incentive could be a blindfolded Blue House Skip. I've been working on it for a small amount of time and if I put work into it, could probably get reasonably consistent.

The idea Cyghfer had on page 1 of the thread (SMRPG vs. PMario donation war) is a cool idea as well, although I'm really torn on it. I would hate to fly down to AGDQ and have my game lose and not be able to play anything, but at the same time I would feel incredibly selfish if I said I wanted to play and pass up on the opportunity to take in thousands of dollars for the marathon, because there is no doubt that the donation war for it would be huge.
http://www.twitch.tv/shrimp__

1. Toki: Going Ape Spit (Genesis) 50:00 - Because Toki.
2. Decap Attack (Genesis) 45:00 - A spooky and funny looking Genesis platformer.
3. Beethoven's 2nd (SNES) 15:00 - A short but unforgiving platformer, suited for Awful Games Done Quick. (Chat will love it FrankerZ)
My stream: twitch.tv/bombercules I have just one game to offer

Super Mario 3D Land [3DS] - any% (1:10:00)
If you haven't played 3D Land, it's the most recent 3D Mario platformer, plays sort of like Galaxy. This was run at last AGDQ, but I hope to incorporate new tricks into my potential run. I've been learning the game itself since it was released almost two years ago, and specifically the any% category for almost a year. My current PB for the category is 1:00:58, but I think I can get it below an hour soon.

Battleblock Theater co-op with PJ (2:30:00)
PJ stated in his post already, but this game is really fun with a lot of glitches and a very high entertainment value.

Pac-Man 2 (50:00)
I think this game speaks for itself. It's a charming game with Pac-man as the hero with the biggest mood swings in history. Lots of potential for entertainment. It was also to be ran at AGDQ 2013 but was cut because the runner couldn't make it. I wanna make sure that doesn't happen again!

Tomba! (1:15:00 for any%, 2:20:00 for 100%)
Tomba is a obscure game with a really strong fan base. There's a lot of stuff that makes for a great watch, be it the music, the cutscenes, and there's a few cool tricks in it that I'd like to show off. This was also considered for a previous AGDQ, but I dropped it because lack of time. This year though, I'm gonna make sure I'm primed for it because Tomba is long overdue for a marathon!

Castlevania: SotN (30:00)
Me and Romscout have something silly planned for SotN. It will be really entertaining, for sure.
Also, if Richter all bosses has a chance, put me in for that. A race with Zex would be awesome with a run that's so intense.

Mega Man 5 [Estimate: 55:00] - Like UA mentioned it has never been ran at a GDQ and is definitely a great classic megaman. It features nifty super arrow jumps that look really good when done right. More than willing to race UA in it. http://www.twitch.tv/ludendi/c/2608929 is an example of what I would expect a good marathon run to look like, but I will be aiming for a better run. For reference the WR is 36:35.
Assuming things work out and I am able to make it, there are two games I would like to run.

1. Xardion [Estimate 0:40 | Usual 0:28-0:32] This is a super fun poverty platformer/run&gun with minor RPG elements, with a notoriously insane storyline that everybody is forced to sit through. A real "WTF did I just watch?" run.

2. Captain Novolin [Estimate 0:10 | Usual 0:07-0:09] It's a quick and silly game that I wouldn't mind just cruising through in AwfulGDQ if we're ahead of schedule, but most of its fame is from somethingawful injokes, and I did get to play it during AGDQ2013's bonus stream. I wouldn't mind at all if it was passed over to give other runners more time.

1. System Shock 2 (any% Impossible difficulty) (Estimate: 35:00 including setup time)
A fast paced FPS with minor RPG elements. Many tricks used to run very fast, and quick realtime menu manipulation makes things seem even faster. Little randomness, time estimate is reliable for a marathon. I am the current WR holder at 25:07rta.

2. Cave Story (original, not +) (any%) (Estimate: 1:10:00 including setup time)
Everyone's favorite indie game. Jump shoot and don't die. The relatively high base difficulty of the game makes a speedrun fun to watch. Current PB: 1:04:33 (world record is 58:59 by Magmapeach)
Incentives: Curly's panties, Chaco's lipstick
