Ys I Chronicles + (PC - Steam) Easy - New Game Any% Race with Branch34 or Solo Run [Estimate 0:50:00]
//  Ys Chronicles + is Xseed's English release of Falcom's Ys Eternal/Complete which optionally enhances the audio track and updates the 90s style art to a more modern style.  The Major appeal of this Action RPG, besides story, are the boss-fight sequences which are tricky, gimmicky, and skill based.

Ys II Chronicles + (PC - Steam) Easy - New Game Any% Race with Branch34 or Solo Run [Estimate 1:20:00]
//  Ys II concludes the Ancient Ys story arc.  Introducing a magic system which changes how bosses and even normal enemies are handled and was designed to have a more maze like structure to the game.  Ys II retains the same appeal as Ys I.

Edited to clarify that the runs are infact Any%

1. DuckTales Remastered (easy mode, donation incentive for extreme. Possible race with Cloud8745) [Estimate 0:45:00 (Steam Version)] - Awesome game with a load of fast movement tech and interesting damage boosts, extreme mode loses some boosts but is a far more intense watch, far fewer lives and one game over and it's all over!

2. Chakan the Forever Man (run with warps) [Estimate: 25:00] - Notoriously hard Sega Genesis platformer with an insanely goofy flying glitch and tricky rolljumps, would be for awful games done quick. Also features ear piercing nightmareish music and the worst ending ever!

3. Studio Anjin Indie Dev Block (Galanz) [Estimate: 0:00:20] - Showcasing a Metroidvania inspired action game based entirely around movement techniques and speed, built specifically for speedrunners and the marathon. Likely to be a tech demo, could go into bonus stream.

1) Borderlands 2 (PC) [3:15:00] Four Player co-op with ProffessorBroman (see his post), TeaWrex, and iMysty.

2) No Time To Explain (PC) [35:00] for AwfulGDQ, this game is just bad. It's a physics based platformer that lacks consistent physics. Donation incentive for "All Hats." Here is the announcement trailer if you're interested:

Here's what I would like to offer;

1. Borderlands 2 (PC), Four Player Co-op [Estimate 3:15:00] with ProfessorBroman (see his post), TeaWrex, and UberGoose.

2. Super Meat Boy (PC) Any% [Estimate 30mins] - The estimate includes set up time and this would be a race between Myself and Vorpal. It's a short, fast paced run which everyone loves to watch! It's a very easy race to follow because of the level number is stated at the start of each stage. BloodTrail

Here's what I can offer for AGDQ. I think the Mega Man Zero games would make for interesting runs. Currently, I'm the world record holder for both of these games.

1. Mega Man Zero (All Missions) - Estimate: 45:00 - PB: 37:39
2. Mega Man Zero 3 (any%) - Estimate: 55:00 - PB: 44:23

Both games are pretty fast paced with alot of interesting tricks, few cutscenes, and shows off how broken the combo system is during boss fights.

1. Legend of the Mystical Ninja (SNES) co-op with puwexil (0:45:00) - see puwexil's post

2. Ninja Kun: Ashura no Shou race with Klaige (0:45:00) - see Klaige's post

3. Yume Penguin Monogatari (0:20:00) - super generous estimate in case we wanted incentives for showing both endings and Uyama doing the big sexy. Great WTF Japan game.

4. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (0:50:00) - I'm strongly considering routing all relics to keep this game fresh. That run would have plenty of notable boss skips. Otherwise, tons of shorter categories/bid wars to do if you prefer.

5. DS Castlevania bid war (1:10:00) - Bid war did well at SGDQ and the run actually went ok from my end. I would like another shot at this with a decent camera setup (not just my head) and not broken audio. I can guarantee those fixes.

Fatal Frame 2 (PS2) - Any% NG+ Nightmare [Estimate: 1:40:00] This would be a great addition to the survival horror roster, especially being the best in the series. Was considered one of the scariest games ever before Amnesia came and took that spot over. It got a remake on the Wii released only in Europe and Japan, which sold very well for a Wii title.

Catherine (PS3) - Any% Normal [Estimate: 1:40:00] This got quite a bit of positive feedback at the ESA marathon considering it was mostly done blind. I feel this game deserves a proper run with explanations of the story/technical gameplay aspects and tricks used throughout the run for a better understanding of the game and run as a whole.

Electronic Super Joy (PC) - Any% or 100% All Stars (donation incentive?) [estimate: 1:15:00] This 2D platformer game is similar in difficulty with Super Meat Boy, but with much flashier backgrounds, a pope, a giant monster, a wizard, and guided missles...LOTS of guided missles. Been playing this since the pre-beta a few months ago and as of this post the official release is next week. There's quite a bit of love for the game as it stands and I'm sure it'll grow more as time goes on.

Lunar Dragon WINGS!
twitch stream http://www.twitch.tv/suidt

1. Super Mario World. Many SMW players have expressed interest in coming out to AGDQ 2013.  Any of these categories could also become races.

- 96 exit - (1:40:00) - A very classic run now including a new glitch called "wing duping". This glitch was not in the previous AGDQ 2012 Race.

- Any%, No Cape No Starworld (0:45:00) -  A fun category that is a breath of fresh air compared to the normal  96 exit and Lunar Dragon. As Dram55 said a donation incentive could be small mario only which would make this category much more interesting.

-Lunar Dragon (1:40:00) - A fun run during SGDQ 2013 the audience seemed to enjoy it. YUMP!

New Super Luigi U

-Any% (0:45:00) A very short run it is also very optimized. Includes using a secret character named "Nabbit"

I’d like to offer Super Monkey Ball 2 Story Mode. This would preferably be a race with Miles and/or TheFearowofTime.  [Estimate: 45:00]  This game has gotten pretty competitive over the last few months and its linear route makes for a close and exciting race! Presently, my PB is 35:45.

My twitch: www.twitch.tv/peanutphobia_

Some donation incentives could include file names, a master race [estimated time of 10:00], or to have the loser voice act the infamous final cutscene after the race.
Hello, I'm Moltov from Speed Runs Live, and here's what I'd like to offer to AGDQ!

My twitch page is www.twitch.tv/Moltov

1. The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time (All Dungeons) [Estimate 2:00:00] - This category, in my opinion, is by far the best choice for a marathon run. It provides almost constant action by skipping almost all of the cutscenes in the game, but still completes every single dungeon. It has amazing tricks that are not seen in any other category that are sure to blow everyones mind away. I completely revamped the route of this category back in late 2012 so I can provide some entertaining insight into all the nooks and crannies of this category. Since this run is very difficult it might be a good idea to have a race, and ZFG said he would like to race it as well.
Twitch channel: http://www.twitch.tv/cgn0

1. F-Zero GX:
- Story Mode (on Very Hard) [Estimate: 35:00] Would prefer to run this category, considering it's the best watch, (in my opinion).
- GP All Cups on Master [Estimate: 1:20:00] Good show-off for advanced Time Trial, since any vehicle is available.

F-Zero GX is the fastest racing game that currently exist, which is a good enough reason alone to why it's suited for a speedrun marathon.

2. F-Zero X (GP All Cups on Master) [Estimate: 50:00] Another fast paced game, just as any other F-Zero. Would love to race this if WMJ can come and is down for that.
I'd like to offer the following for AGDQ 2014

My twitch page is www.twitch.tv/zombietraine

1. Casltevania II: Simon's Quest (Any%) [Estimate 55:00] - I currently have a personal best of 40:20 in this category, but I have a marathon route prepared in which my personal best is 45:13. The route essentially eliminates any possible need for a reset due to a lack of hearts while keeping all exploits/tricks in the run. I've been watching your marathons for years and CV2 has always been left out so I'd like the chance to show off this beautiful black sheep of the Castlevania series to the world!

As a donation incentive I can offer a 100% run, with an estimated time of 1:05:00

Thanks!

Crusader of Centy any% (known as Soleil in PAL regions) (Estimate 1:15:00)

Sega's response to Zelda, and a great action RPG. Have to talk to animals to get their abilities to progress in the game, lots of jumping around and dodging enemies while throwing your sword and a few cool out of bound tricks.
File name could be a donation incentive.

Oni (Estimate 1:20:00)

Fun 3rd person action shooter brawler, haven't streamed this yet but been playing off stream, there's this speedrun on youtube http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9A4763203C5CDDBC

Loaded (Estimate 1:15:00)

Top down shooter kind of like Hotline Miami, but for the PS1 so more primitive but still great music. Again, not streamed this much, but I've uploaded the first 6 levels on Youtube, although I'm better now than those videos.
Poop

1. Pokemon Stadium (Gym Leader Castle) [Estimate 2:00:00] - Definitely the most hype game I play at the moment, a true battle of man vs RNG. We could also have donation incentive to do a round of minigames with whoever I have on the couch.

2. Lost Kingdoms (Any%) [Estimate 1:00:00] - One of the few gamecube RPGs that actually exist and the levels are pretty fast paced. There's a decent chance of breaking the WR during the marathon and it's cool to see an earlier FromSoftware game before they made Dark Souls.

3. The Power Puff Girls Chemical X-Traction [Estimate 3:00] - It's a hilarious N64 fighter that takes about 2 minutes to complete per power puff girl. Anyone can breeze through it and take the challenge between set-ups, it's definitely die hard tier and would bring a lot of laughs.
Twitch Page: http://www.twitch.tv/branch34

1. Ys I Chronicles + (PC-Steam) Any% Easy (possible race with Hachrt) [Estimate: 0:50:00] - Hachrt has already said most everything I'd say about this game. It's an ARPG with a rockin' soundtrack and simple, but entertaining, gameplay.

2. Ys II Chronicles + (PC-Steam) Any% Easy (again, possibly a race with Hachrt) [Estimate: 1:20:00] - Again Hachrt has beaten me to the punch here, the game keeps the Ys tradition of its amazing soundtrack and adds a new layer of depth with its magic system, leading to some exciting, fun to watch boss fights.

1. Super Mario Sunshine - Any% - 1:50:00 (possibly a race?)
After the hype at SGDQ how could you not have it again? I'm not entirely sure who in the SMS community is planning on going to AGDQ but if anyone better than me is planning on going I would be happy to step aside or have a race.

2. Super Mario 64 - 1 star - 15:00
The game speaks for itself and 1 star hasn't been at xGDQ for a pretty long time. I don't know if other people have anything else planned for this game or if you are even planning in putting it in (as it has been in pretty much every xGDQ) but if someone good is going and wants to do 70 star or 120 star I would be fine with giving this up. Also I could try for 0 star in the run (the route is the same, it just depends on whether I get a good sideBLJ)

3. Super Mario 64 DS - 50 star or 80 star - 1:05:00 and 1:35:00 respectively
I know that you said no to this for SGDQ but I think that it fits perfectly for AwfulGDQ. I am still not 100% sure if I would be comfortable with 50 star right now, but it is something that I would definatly put a lot of time into (right now it could take me 10 minutes or 30 seconds to get the endless stairs skip, but I think I could get this down to 1:30-2:00 max). Also I have WR for 50 star and I am also very close to beating the segmented 80 star time on SDA as a single segment run (i'm 99% sure I can have it beat by the time AGDQ comes around)

Also, this time I will be a lot more prepared and should be able to confirm whether I can attend or not much earlier (sgdq was just the wrong time for me)
Totally Radical Awesome Game

These are the games I can offer

1. TRAG any % (1:10:00) Probably my best run. It's a "bad" game, but it has hilarious voice acting and people seem to enjoy it when I run it.

2. Tomba 2 any % (1:30:00) This game is really cutscene heavy and might not be a great choice, but if someone offers Tomba 1 it could be cool to have both games ran.

3. Ratchet & Clank any% (1:15:00) We had Ratchet ng+ last year, so why not any%?

4. Ratchet & Clank Going Commando any% (2:00:00) Had a ng+ run of this in the past as well, I would be cool with running either Ratchets

5. Morrowind any% (7 minutes) Super short run. We had it before so it might not need a return, but I do have the world record, so that's something.

Hey.

Twitch page: http://www.twitch.tv/pykn

These are the games I can offer for AGDQ.

1. Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon - [Any% 1:40:00] [100% 2:40:00] Kind of a sleeper hit for the N64, it's a 3D action-adventure game similar to Ocarina of Time. Both the Any% and 100% speedruns are very difficult and make use of a lot of interesting glitches. Also, DAT IMPACT THEME.

2. Guacamelee - [Any% 1:30:00] A newer game that shares a lot of similarities to Super Metroid, both in terms of design and speedrunning. It's a very technical game that's pleasing to watch.

3. Portal 2 Co-Op - [Any% 1:00:00] This would be a co-op run with me and Yashichidsf and I think the hijinks between me and him would make for an interesting run. There's also a lot of neat stuff in the run to explain as well. Also all kinds of crazy donation incentives to make me and Yashi do ~whatever the people want~

Prototype

1. New Game with resets [Estimate= 2:45:00]: Meaning I start the game normally, without any upgrades. It has a lot of clever planning and manipulation of mechanics. This is a cool game to run and watch.

2. New Game plus with resets [Estimate=2:30:00]: Meaning I play with all upgrades start to finish. It could make a good bidding war between this and New Game. It‘s different from New Game in that it’s faster and uses different strategies.

.
Stream: Nope.
Just three games to offer, all classic FPSes.

Doom 2 [Estimate: 40:00] - It's Doom. Current best time is 31:21 game time, with deaths. (something like 34-35 realtime I'd guess) Coop very possible if another runner shows.

Unreal [Estimate: 1:00:00] - More polished than it was at AGDQ 2012. New tech allows more reliable skips and better recovery for messing up risky strats. No donations for second player this time though, that was kind of meh.

Serious Sam The First Encounter [Estimate: 50:00 solo, 45:00 coop] - If you guys want this, I can deliver. Super rusty as I haven't run it since 2008 or so, but the game is simple so derusting is easy. Coop in this game is pretty good also, if moooh feels like it.

I have fewer than five games, but I have several categories within each game:

1. Age of Empires 2

This game recently got re-released in HD on steam, and thus has had somewhat of a renaissance lately. It has some of the most memorable scenarios and campaigns of any RTS game, and I think some of those might be worth watching. As for the individual categories:

I Individual scenario (any) - 15:00 estimate. Just about every scenario is beatable, live, in under that time. This might be especially interesting for some of the "longer" scenarios that have "hidden" ways of doing them fast, such as the first Atilla the Hun scenario or the third Frederick Barbarossa scenario. Could do a bidding war on which scenario to do.

II Campaign (Not Genghis Khan) - 1:20:00 estimate. Each campaign is six scenarios, with transition times in between scenarios. Could do a bidding war on which campaign to run.

2. Iji. This freeware game from Daniel Remar has a speedrun hosted on this very site. Multiple categories:

III Normal mode: Fastest way to do it. Some very cool tricks to see, especially with damage boosting across large areas. The current run stands at about half an hour, but a realistic live estimate, with animations and all, is 50:00

IV Pacifist run: See Iji beat the game without ever killing a single enemy. This is not too hard if you know what you're doing, but it means, for example, that you usually can't take that shredder for risk of running someone down, you can't do that damage boost, for fear of killing an enemy, and your health stat becomes extremely important. Estimate: 1:15:00

V Ultimortal mode: See Iji done without any levels except health. See her beat every boss with just her feet and shotgun. See the second Asha fight that Remar is sad to have had to skip for the speedrun. See Tor go down without any health recharge for Iji in the final battle. But at least I can use shredders. Estimate: 1:30:00

3. Hyper Princess Pitch. Another Daniel Remar game, this is more similar to a SHMUP than Iji. Still, route planning and powerup optimization can make or break the run, and it's possible to get it pretty streamlined for running. Two main categories:

VI Speed attack. Anything goes, see Pitch charge in with no thought of life or limb, recklessly killing every Santa minion she sees. Estimate: 12:00

VII Deathless. Same as above, but death-skipping rooms is not allowed. Not the fastest way to run, but probably more interesting to watch. Estimate: 16:00

4. In 60 seconds. Freeware game by William Broom, this game kills you if you don't beat it within 60 seconds. Practically made for speedrunning. Three different "endings" too! Estimate: <1:00. (VIII)

There were no Katamari runs at xGDQ in 2013! That's a shame. And frankly, past Katamari marathon runs have been...poor speedruns. That's changed now.

1. Katamari Damacy (PS2) [est: 50:00]
I'm still a few minutes off the WR for this game (an eternity really) but it will be improved upon. The skill ceiling for these games is incredible and grass/doughyguy is just about there right now; a race could work to show off how demanding this game is to speedrun.

2. We Love Katamari (PS2) [est: 1:20:00]
I just recently beat slowbro's old SDA time for this and my goal is to cut another 5 minutes off by '14. The run is about twice as long as the original and has more diversity of levels, but the lack of trolly physics from the first game make the run a little more reliable.
My Twitch page is www.twitch.tv/totozigemm

1. Spyro 2:Ripto's Rage (40 Orb)[Estimate 1:00:00] - 40 Orb is basically the 70 star of Spyro 2, you need 40 Orbs to defeat Ripto. I prefer this over 100% is because you collect much less, involves some flexible routing, and also showcases many glitches and out of bounds tricks.

2.a. Spyro 3:Year of the Dragon (any%)[Estimate 1:10:00] - Spyro 3 any% features many chances to show off some glitches and shortcuts like swimming in the air and many out of bounds, also some nice movement tricks and some fun challenges.
  b. Spyro 3:Year of the Dragon (117%)[Estimate 4:00:00] - Spyro 2 100% was at SGDQ so I will try to get 3's 100% in AGDQ. Despite the long estimate this category features some out of bounds tricks, some interesting movement tricks and a lot of optimizing gem collection.

3. Crash Bandicoot 2:Cortex Strikes Back (any% no Game Over abuse)[Estimate 1:00:00] - It's been a long time since a Crash platformer was in a GDQ,  which I'm sure many would be glad to see again. I personally chose this one because it has a special movement technique that is quite fast and I personally enjoy a lot.

Overall the category I have put the most effort into and would prefer is Spyro 3 117%. However I have put time into all the games and would more than happy to run any of these games and show what cool things can be done in them.
(Also I'm not sure if I should mention it now, but I think 1 or possibly 2 other people that run Spyro might also be suggesting Spyro 2 40 orb. I don't know if it would be possible to make it a race, but I think that is a good option because you can see two pretty different routes, maybe even 3)
1. Pikmin 3 Any% Estimate- [1:30:00] - It's the first HD Pikmin game.  It looks really crisp and there are a few cool skips that have already been found.

Twitch Page: http://www.twitch.tv/wafflesuccker
I only have one run to offer.  My channel can be found at http://twitch.tv/sinnoh1

Pikmin All Parts -- 1:30:00 is a very safe estimate -- Pikmin is a series that has been infused with new energy thanks to the recent release of Pikmin 3.  Pikmin All Parts is a hybrid any%/100% category (it’s faster to collect all 30 ship parts than skipping the unnecessary parts).  Pikmin isn’t a run that will wow someone, but it is a lighthearted and fun watch.  There’s not much RNG in the game so it's very safe for marathon play.  The final time is based more on understanding of certain game mechanics and execution of the route, which focuses on having Pikmin working towards multiple in game goals at once.
