Let's try this again Tongue  New forum link.  The last host wasn't very stable so I found a new one and started over.
Katsukity
hello!
3DS kit shop open!

DS Dictator
Updated the first page with the correct link, it looks like I have to make a new account for the newer 3DS capture forums as the account I created from the old, unstabled forum no longer works.
Yeah.  I tried moving the database but it was too much trouble.  There were only about 10 registered users and a few posts so it was easier to start fresh.

Love & Snuggles~
Thank you very much loopy for your hard work! My 3DS still works like a charm~ ^^

Your software does a sexcellent job at making PNG quality images. I will use a screen capture software like xsplit, camtasia or other ones for recording/streams. :3

And yes, that icon in the top-left corner of my friend code image says "Senran Kagura"! <3
Any estimate on when we can actually just buy them instead of bidding? I don't quite have 450$ to spend and I think my email order was probably overlooked. (Or I sent it just a bit too late)
I don't know.. I'm starting to look at e-commerce software options, something that will do backorders or a waiting list type thing.  I'm new at this stuff so it's taking time.  Ideally I'd like to have a normal ordering page that'll put people in a waiting list, and have ebay as a backup for those who don't like to wait.  I got ebay to adjust my selling limit at least, so I can put boards up more quickly now.  Maybe the prices will calm down a little.
I imagine it would be easy to use C++ to write a script that has an entry form, and then puts that data into a table ordered by submission date/time, and then integrate that into a website. I'm new to programming so meh, I doubt I'd be able to help. I feel so useless right now lol.
It is far easier to use php/mysql or, say, C# and some database. But this depends on the capabilities of the hosting server.
My host has several e-commerce packages, I just need to spend some time trying them out.

I repel dust and static electricity.
I don't mean to bother anyone, but is there a chance the capture boards will be available for purchase without having to auction for them? I understand there are very few in stock, but still.
Just wait. They'll probably be available in time. Right now, many people are paying a lot to get them as quickly as possible in the auctions.

I recently bought a capture board for my English and Japanese 3DS from katsukity shop and have shipped them yesterday to him. Hopefully, everything goes well. Smiley

Ebay is a temporary solution while I find a better way of selling these.  Google Checkout was suggested to me, I'll look into that.  This is irritating to everyone including me, so I will try to find something else soon.
The ebay bids are getting ridiculous. Option of 3ds sent to you has a higher bid than a new 3ds with a preinstalled card? People are crazy xD.

Also out of curiosity, does the capture card need LibUSB to function?
No, it doesn't use libusb.
A friend of mine got his boards today but he can't use it because Windows Vista doesn't accept the drivers at the device manager. But on his Windows 7 laptop it works, so it's not a problem of the board.
In Windows 7, if you tell it to search for drivers it will find them on its own and install them.  Have you tried that on Vista?

Doesn't work for him. In Windows 7 it works but not for his Vista-PC.

He send me this picture:

Okay.  Um.. that looks like a picture of it working (??)  There shouldn't be anything wrong with the driver.  It's a generic driver from Microsoft, I didn't make it.

Could there be any problem with Vista? I don't really know what he did with his system. O.o

It just keeps spitting out Code 1. It also keeps saying that the service is not an installed one.

What a language. O.o

It's possible.  I don't have Vista.  The driver supposedly supports Vista so I assumed it would work.  I'll install Vista and try it.
Have you tried uninstalling the driver and installing it via the download on loopy's site?

Error Code 1 means that the driver it is trying isn't working, so it might not be up to date or whatever else.
Yes, he tried that.
