You should've made this topic after people have had their fill of TP.:P

Anyway maybe a SS of this game is in order? TSA said he regretted not doing one, so if you can stand the sailing for about 7 hours, no problem. I'm exaggerating with the time there probably.

I'm definitely gonna start playing this again after I beat TP a couple of times.

Nevermind what I said about save-warping in the forbidden woods. It does save time. If you go to the room before the boss room after you shoot the 5 cords in the main room you can open up the warp. After that you jump down, get the boss key. Save and Quit. Jump in the warp and you're at the boss.

It sucks the password system to get on the pirateship isn't the same as the password system for the bombers in MM. In this game you have to see the cutscene with the password before it actually works.

Good videos, some save little time, some save big.

About one skipping iron boots for breaking boulder, is it useful, as we still need iron boots in temple itself?

Well yeah we still need it now, but maybe there's a way to avoid using it in the temple. I'm playing the game upto that point to search for tricks in the temple.

I think it'll be Segmented, because save-warping saves quite some time.

I've been trying to skip the Helmarock King battle by bomb-boosting over the spikes. So far I have no succes, could anyone else try it too?

You mean that big bird figth on top of forsaken fortress? All what I can say it almost imbossible with only bomb boost and deku leaf or jump slash I have tried it about four hours. It's so close you can get there with bomb boost, you only need little bit more height for you boost :-/

Do you know that already if you doesn't hit that bird with you hammer when it block your way up, you can get up there with deku leaf and cutscenes and battle will not start if you don't hit that bird with you hammer?

Do you mean that if you don't hit the bird and start the cutscene the spikes won't be raised and you can walk right to ganondorf? Or is it completely useless?

Spike is all always up until when you beat that bird. I mean if you skip leave that bird there you can freely run around on battle field and that battle doesn't start. But spikes are still up and now you can try get over those spikes without that boss flying around. but there is one thing and my english is not too good to explain it to you now, if you try it by yourself you can see what is that bad thing.

No I get what you mean. But seeing how you tried to bomb boost over it for 4 hours I don't see the use in trying it myself. You're way a way more experienced trick finder.

Because of this I'm also playing this game again and I'll try to look for stuff. I've got nothing to mention yet, I've just finished the Forsaken Fortress the first time you get there so I'm not really far into the game yet Wink

Ach. While searching for a way to skip past the plants that block your way to the woods where Tetra falls I nearly had it. If you anger the pigs they can cut through those plants if you position them right. However, the only way to anger the pigs without a sword is by throwing pots and rocks at them. The pigs need 10 strikes to make them angry and surprise surprise - there are only 8 throwable items on the island unless there is another way to hurt them. Not that this would save much time if at all and you still need the sword to kill the goons in the woods.
Was somebody planning on doing a run on this? I could dig up those time savers I found a while ago but didn't make a video of and point out some strats that TSA didn't use in his run. That is if anyone intends to run this game.

If my memory serves me well, dropping them from great height doesn't make them angry\damaged. Swimming doesn't affect them either. Maybe you can fall down on them to make them angry? Have you tried throwing a pig against another pig? Maybe throw the pig against a wall or something similar a couple of times?

Rolling\back or side jumping through those plants didn't seem to work. I tried putting objects next to those plants and then I tried to stand on them but that also didn't work. Link doesn't want to stand on anything, not even the sign in front of those plants.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just tried those things I mentioned above and they don't work. But I was able to get all 3 little pigs, a rock and a pot to fall through the ground in the tunnel at Grandma's house Smiley

I also noticed that when you've gotten your sword you can throw a pig through those plants which you can't do before you've got the sword. So there must be an invisible wall\barrier I think.

It seem all peoples play TP now. So only few peoples maybe play TWW. I haven't played this game long time, maybe then when I have enought played TP Tongue
