d4 f2 3d. congrats - this will take no time at all to encode.

yes. even though this game is often f2, you can't usually encode nes stuff at f2 because you will get invisible sprites that were supposed to be blinking. therefore d4 f1 2d.

YAY go me for getting it right!!!!
Alright, thanks. No wonder the one I put on Youtube looked so funky, I wasn't even close.

Quits halfway
Lenophis was wondering about FF Origins on PS1 (although he's playing/capturing from a PS2).

I've attached two samples below for him.

probably d4 f1 2d, looks like it will need 1-pixel bob. if not then let me know.

I'm actually ashamed to be asking what this should be just because of what game it is...

Please and thank you :>

D4 F2 3D, 1-px bob again?
Seems like it's not needing the 1 pixel bob. Thanks for the info Smiley

F2 cuts out the odd field (duplicates) so no bobbing needed.

Totally slipped my mind.

D1 F2 3D.

Which makes me wonder if perhaps some of the N64 definitions on DF are wrong, as they're all listed as D4.

there are d1 n64 games but they are extremely rare.

do they have to do with the expansion pak or am i thinking of something else?

edit: yeah, wikipedia to the rescue: "Many games such as Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness and Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine optionally used The Expansion Pak to add a high resolution 640x480 display mode for games"
O. That's actually a pretty cool feature.
it says "many games" but if the expansion pak was released in 1999 then it seems like only a small fraction of the total library could conceivably use the feature. unless it had been planned from the start or something but i've never heard anything like that.
Greetings!

I humbly ask the experts for d, f & fdp

I'm guessing it's D4 F1 2D like the rest of the 8bit Mega Man games, but I thought I might as well double-check.  Thanks.

correct, but you will need to use one of the de-deflickering options ("retard bob") ... i can't remember how you do that through anri right now but it will probably show it to you as an option in the vdub preview. either that or it's an actual question saying something sonic mega collection.
Everybody's favorite monster
D, F and FDP please. thx.

d4 f3 3d.

looks like an awesome game.
Waiting hurts my soul...
I have a sample of a really bad game that I'm sure only 1 person is really looking forward to. Please tell me how I should encode it. Thank you.

d4 f3 3d

it'll need one of the one-pixel bob options. you should be able to tell easily when anri presents you with them.

it's actually less than f3 but it doesn't matter ... yikes ...
