Heh, that's a little old because it was found by SexyZora19 around feb, but nice discovery. Me and Jiano skipped it because it's a bit hard hard to do and also because it might just result in the same time.

Oops.  Sorry about that.  I also tried to skip the 2nd and 3rd ropes.  It actually seems possible.  After going across the 1st rope, I tried sidehopping attempting to bypass the other 2 ropes.  I landed on the cabinet close to the entrances to the sewers, then immediately I slid off because I was too close to the edge of the cabinet.

The Goron won't notice you if you stand on that cabinet.  Even if it is possible, it is not feasible.  Assuming it is possible, you would have to line wolf Link up in a perfect position, then sidehop to the cabinet.  It would take time to do this.

Yeah, it is the ledge on Falbi's balcony where you go out with the cucco.  For some reason, OoB won't happen there.

There may be other spots in Zora's Domain to get OoB.  Kodo91 has a vid of one spot.  I know of another spot.  It is by a ledge, a grassy knoll, 2  crates nearby, and a treasure chest nearby (20 rupee chest I think).  Hope that is a good enough reference.  After you get out of the water, you climb a pathway and it makes a sharp turn when going up the path.  It is on the opposite side of the map from this vid...

I haven't found any other timesavers in Lakebed Temple, but I wasn't expecting too.  That temple has been broken as far as it can go...I think.

hmm.. i see..

in that video there, couldnt you use that to get to snowpeak early by trying to get past the ice that blocks the way? or has that already been done...

EDIT: i just tried it... looks like it cant  be done.

EDIT2: I just got OoB at the top of Zoras domain as you come out of the throne room.. However I'm guessing thats been found before..

EDIT3: I just got OoB at the bottom of Snowpeak, with the icy waters. I went straight through the ground, and then I was frozen under the ground for a bit, and then it brought me back up. I did it again and turned into a wolf, and I could walk around for a tiny bit, but then I got the 'dying whoosh sound' and it faded to black... I didn't get frozen.

It's Midna Dive, actually. It is done by standing near a ledge, then holding out a bomb, or similar object, and prompting midna so link will fall off camera, and hopefully get OoB. Only works in certain areas, etc.

surly that can help, in Early Master sword, somehow?

I think that is a new spot.  Good find.  Interesting that you went through the ice for a bit.  Same type of thing happens in Goron Mines. You do this by lava and you glitch under the lava for a bit, then die.

Maybe you can do something like with the Lakebed boss room thing to teleport to the top of the ledge and bypass the trigger blocking early Snowpeak?
ok, i dont think this has been mentioned before..

why have fiercelinkmaster and masterlinkx been suspended from youtube?

i did not see anything offencive/whatever in their videos..

can the Midna Dive be done when you're looking with C and press Z on the Gamecube? I haven't gotten it to work on the Cube

I've never tried it on GC.  I have the Wii version.  I've heard that Midna Dive is nearly impossible on GC version.  Has this been confirmed?
The only version where it doesn't work on AFAIK is PAL GCN.

It doesn't work on the one that's not your PAL either.

Has anyone used AR to get through the main gate in Arbiter's grounds without getting the 4 poes souls? (the gate that opens when you get the 4 poe souls).  I'm hoping the game doesn't freeze.  I'm curious what happens, because I think it might be possible to glitch through the gate.

When you roll Link in a spot near where the corner of the gate and edge of the wall meet (on either side of the gate), you won't get hit the gate or wall from rolling.  You glitch through a very small bit.

As a wolf, you can get halfway through the gate by proper placement of a skull.  I'm thinking that placing a few jars or skulls would help to clip Link through the gate completely if I can get the correct angle and find good enough spots for placement of skulls or jars.
The problem is that jars and skulls don't stay still when you touch them, so clipping will be harder here than using the big rock to get past the 1st gate at the beginning of the game.

thats strange.. maybe they found the bug and fixed it...

Heh, logitech, that would be AWESOME. Unfortunately I have no files at AG. >_<

Good luck trying to perform this. Cheesy

EDIT: Apparently I have 667 posts now... didn't even notice when I had 666.
I propose that we make a todo list for things that need to be worked on.. As a newbie here I have no idea what has and hasn't been done..  :-/

I think it was something stupid in the forest temple where you jump onto the bridge without turning them again using the Gale boomerang (the room before the boss)
2. Getting to the Boss room door via jumping from the second floor of Lakebed Temple.
3. Donkey Kong eating a banana.
4. Midna laughing

Edit: uh...
Yeah, it's probably that (it was under tricks for the Forest Temple). Pretty stupid... is that even unintentional?

It isn't immediately obvious, so I guess that's why it's in there.

Here's a route through the lakebed temple for a 100%, I just used manocheese's route and modified it a bit to allow for the HPs.;) Oh, and this is a GC route, you'll have to reverse everything for Wii.:/

Lakebed Temple 100% route:
1. Go to main room.
2. Down stairs, left (around the ledge), activate switch.
3. Up, left, switch, down, enter.
4. Forward, get key, back to main room.
5. Up stairs, right, unlock door.
6. Forward, left, climb the vine, bomb the rock, go through cog room, get small key, back to cog room. Do potter's early hp trick, back to main room
7. Pull switch, up stairs, right, enter red door that was just unlocked, forward, left, climb vine, enter cog room, head to opposite door, jump right, to ledge with hood covering it.
7. Unlock door, swim past the jellyfish, bomb rock.
8. Proceed to Miniboss (use bomb arrows immediately)*.
9. Exit boss chamber, left, small key, back to main room.
10. Up stairs, right, enter door, forward, clawshot to vine, past helmasaurs, enter door.
11. Proceed to spiral room, use sequence break there**.
12. Enter door without water underneath, retrace steps back to main room
13. Clawshot switch straight ahead, down, enter door.
14. Forward, enter door, Go to door forward and to the left of current location***.
15. Left, down, through hole, left, bomb the rock
16. Swim left and down, bomb another rock
17. Grab boss key, save+quit
18. Back to main room, clawshot to chandelier, heart piece
19. Drop down to the boss door ledge.

*You'll need to skip the cutscene to do this

**Sidehop onto the snake statue from the ledge, then jumpslash onto middle platform.

***Clawshot to right platform, chest with water bombs(10), clawshot to vines until you get to the ledge just before the one the upper door is on, then look down to see a platform. Jump and jumpslash to get on it, then clawshot to the nearby door platform.

Here's the last segment I'll be doing for a while, I'll be gone for a while and I'll be at my mom's house where I can't upload segments for about a month, so I guess it'll be a while. I'll still be working on my speed run, it's just that I wont be able to upload them. And I MAY redo Segment 25 again, I'm not so sure.

Segment 25 Part 1
Segment 25 Part 2

Sorry for taking so long on this run but I am very busy with other stuff right now. Enjoy, I won't be uploading segments for a while.

That much organization is unnecessary.

EDIT: TpFox, that timesaver looks slower than doing it normally.
