Unfortunately, sometimes doing so in a mean manner is the only way that gets through to them. But I can't understand why people would come to a speed running forum and ask for help on basic game mechanics. Huh?

Especially when there are a wealth of faqs and walkthroughs for this game.

Hey everyone..I'm new to this great forum.
I've got some questions:
1. What's the seventh hidden skill?
2. How do you quick spin?
3. Where is them Howling stonez at?
4. What is this Great spin I keep hearing about?
5. Doesn't Link get dizzy?
6. How do you quickspin and speedrun at the same time?
7. I beat the game in 15 hours. Is that good?
8. Do you guys like bugs?..I was looking in backyard for one and found one that wasn't golden and I was wondering does it still count?

Are you familar with that one guy Fiercelosermaster? He called me an idiot for sending messages hoping that he dies. Is that appropriate?

From the main part, go near Sera's Sundries. There's an exit around there. From there you can go to the area with Link's house, and from there there's another exit, and from that exit a third exit leading to Faron.

Stop. I don't like the direction this topic has been going in after everyone pretty much gave up on the early Master Sword break. This topic shouldn't be degenerating into a "social thread." If you don't have anything to say that's directly related to running this game, then just don't post. It's more work for me later on when I update the discussion summary.

If any more basic gameplay questions pop up, just ignore them. There's no need to be rude, but you shouldn't answer them, either. Just skip right to the next post and continue the discussion where we left off.

I haven't given up on it. Still researching the four Boomerangs glitch, which should enable us to get Bombs, which might enable us to kill Bulblin, which might enable us to skip the Bow. I just haven't made any notable progress so I haven't bothered posting about it.

Besides that, I'm working on a Metroid Prime 2 run, which gives me less time to look for things in TP. I'll get back to it soon, though.

Is there a way to talk to Iza from across the room? Once I spoke to her from near the fishing hole, and I'm not sure how I did it, since it hasn't happened again.

I'm still playing this game and still I try find way to get around of that master sword early thing. I have finished chrono trigger now so I can play more TP. Today I have played TP about three hours but that is why there doesn't happen any progress is that TP is so well made Tongue

I dont see what the big deal is here. My question was related to bomb jumping and has been discussed in this forum.....this will be my last post here...no one really had to answer my questions anyway...you could have just ignored it and I would have looked throuh a faq or my Gamespot game guide and found out.

Also,maybe the mods on this forum could create a new "Newb and questions" discussion.... I think speed running and sequence breaking is interesting because I use to try it way back in the day with the original NES and SNES and the original Zelda games and others like it...and this is the first place I have ever seen or heard of it being discussed and how people accomplish it.

i think the issue is that newb questions should be at gamefaqs or Nsider/PS forum/Xbox forum.

this place isnt a "help me with this game" forum. Especially not this topic. It's fine if you ask it in General Discussion, but this just isnt the place for it.

The problems with that are that people don't follow that advice and newbs will keep posting sometimes... If even one person answers their question, then they've succeeded in bringing the topic off track.

In a 100% run, we've established that the runner will need to collect all 60 Poes. However, would the runner need to go visit Jovani and get the infinite money reward?

EDIT: Also, how many times would he need to complete the Cave of Ordeals? (I'm assuming the torch trick is allowed)

1. no, i dont think so. The infinite money isnt a new item.

2. You don't get anything for completing the CoD the second time, so i'd argue that you only have to do it once.
