Yeah, I noticed those things as well when I tested it.

Finished another run yesterday, 8:04:50. The latter half of this run went pretty well, but the beginning was still not good enough.

Did some more attempts today, but almost every single one ended at the first 10 goats or faron gate clip. :/ I had a run get all the way to the BiTE after iron boots but the goats were so bad (1 minute+) I had to reset.

On another note, one of my runs today got 18 rupees on Ordon day 1... lol.

It's now possible to skip half of the forest temple, and possibly Faron tears if we have a BiTE warp spot.

We couldn't skip tears because of ending blow.

Hmm. Then we could get the ending blow from the Karkariko wolf.
If we did skip tears, then that would mean no Sword and Shield Skip. Assuming that would be faster.

Wait, do you mean it wouldn't be faster to do S&S skip? Or just that it wouldn't be necessary to do it to beat the game?

I just tested it. You can't beat the game if you skip the Twilight in Faron. You can't warp the Karkariko Bridge.

And Ing, I meant you can't beat the game because you would need the warp to Ordon to get the Iron Boots in SS because you can't leave Faron in Twilight.

Also, I think that it is faster to get Ooccoo in Forest Temple to warp out.

We don't ever warp the bridge, we warp to the other side of the gorge with BiTE. BiTE to Kakariko has been known for some time, but the difficulty has been getting over to the Twilit Messenger side of Kakariko Gorge. If you don't kill them you don't get the ability to warp on the map screen, making it impossible to beat the game, and you can't delay killing them because they disappear once the Kakariko twilight is cleared.

If you don't BiT and S&S skip, you'd have to clear Faron because of the lack of the Ordon Warp yes. Trying to remember this game heh.

No, not necessarily. You can still skip Diababa with it if you do it after clearing the Twilight.

Rob told me about this yesterday, you can't warp the bridge until beating diababa, even if you clear twilight.

Why do you need to warp the bridge? With Master Sword + the south/north Faron portals you should be able to just go to the gorge, get the ability to warp, and then BiTE to Kakariko right?

Parax, without the bridge escort would be impossible to complete I'd think... It'd make SS pretty messy

Of course not. All seg needs is a way to BiTE without clearing Faron Twilight so that we can skip tears as well.

Sounds simple enough. You should be able to just go to North Faron and LJA into the pit you're supposed to cross with the golden cucco.

Right, so, the issues here are only because lakebed pillar clip sucks. You should be able to get around clearing Faron Twilight and Diababa just fine with rupee dive. (Back in Time Equipped works here, you still need to grab the Kakariko Gorge warp for map warping at some point though)
