Interslice plz stream sometime so Rob will stop thinking I'm you, preferrably with mic. Thanks.
I'll stream in 2 weeks, once my equipment arrives.

That's actually where I aim for land dive as well, haha. Can't wait to check out your epic TP skills.

Okay, stuff is here.  I'll be streaming TP today.  My JTV account is Interslice4.
I did some screwing around with trying to skip King Bublin.  All I found was that the water behind the graveyard doesn't trigger until you complete the Telma escort.  I tried going through that crawlspace but that isn't the trigger.  But if you blow up the rooks that would normally be underwater when there is no water, there is this invisible wall that won't let you go to Lake Hylia.  Not sure if any of this is known.
It's possible to get back there as early as Kakariko Twilight (not tested afaik) but obviously the triggers to get the armor aren't there. I guess you could go there directly after getting iron boots and use Logitech's OoB trick to swim behind the rocks, although there's a good chance the loading zone to get to lake Hylia is either: A. Not there or B. The game freezes upon loading it.

Taking all that into account, this is Twilight Princess and anything is possible. Tongue

At some point (can't remember exactly when), the invisible wall disappears. But if you try to enter lake hylia while it's empty and in twilight, the game freezes. If you're getting zora armor, you can't skip king bulblin.

Also just watched your archived stream. Yeah, I admit the new bomb strat is weird and might not ever be used. For me it's even easier than the 4 flash method even though the trick is sensitive. You tried it like 4 times. You probably knew the 1st attempt the angle was too much. The 2nd attempt, you had Link at an angle before pressing C-up and lining up the 2nd heart piece. You end up with too much of an angle facing the wall. When you have Link at an angle before pressing C-up, the camera can occassionally not have the "correct" zoom (sometimes too far or near when angling Link before pressing C-up), which messes up the alignment of the 2nd heart piece in relation to the wall edge. I always fall back into the snow and climb the ledge again making sure Link is facing straight forward, then press C-up and line up the heart piece. This ensures the angle is correct.

Always do whatever you're most comfortable with. Walking with the boots is easiest for me, Rob does 4 bomb flash, and Ing does 7 bomb flash.

What I was trying to do was jump into the OoB water and then try to get Zora Armor from underneath.  The problem is there is no water until the escort is completed.

Following Rutela is the only possible way to get Zora armor. There is no other way to get it. I don't think the zora armor even exists until that moment during the cutscene when Rutela opens the grave.

I wasted about 2 hours trying to do that because of my eagerness to skip King Bublin.  That was the only reason I spent so much time testing any of that.  Also I didn't want that cool trick too be used only for a 30 second time saver in an 8 hour run.

Speaking of trying to find tricks, I've been trying to find a way to get to Hyrule Castle early using the White Midna glitch over the past week. I've been thinking that we might be able to trick the castle area into being in the "barrier up" state (door opened) without actually drawing the barrier. Unfortunately, everything I've tried has failed. The problem is that the Midna's Desperate Hour state is constantly active in castle town after performing White Midna, and the only way to remove it seems to be to meet zelda. Here's what I've tried:

-Beating Arbiter's Grounds (did nothing)
-Activating the mirror of twilight cutscene after AG (did nothing)
-Beating City in the Sky (did nothing)
-Meeting Zelda after beating AG (put the barrier up)
-Activating Back in Time Equipped after activating White Midna (but before beating AG) (did nothing)

I can't think of anything else. It seems like no matter what the only way to change the castle town state is to meet zelda, which seems to put the barrier up no matter what.

Are you doing a 100% run?

He's not; Brynna and I are. (Well at least I don't think he is).
I am playing through 100% right now and might even record a run, but I'm not doing a serious run that I would submit.

I finally got to borrow a friend of mine's AR, so if any of you want me to try certain things with it when I toy around with it later, let me know. Y'all know where to find my stream.

Cool.  If you get the time, could you test if it is possible to get behind the gate in Arbitor's Grounds?  It's the one that you have to get the 4 Poe souls to open. Logi said that someone said that they got behind the gate and there was no floor,  but it's possible that he was high or drunk or something.  Thanks.

I tried that and it's too solid, and I think it would only be possible with the code to go through walls (which I'll test later).

In other notes, EHC is possible if you can get past the guards and the door and don't unlock the dark pyramid over the castle yet. I used a moon jump code to go over it, and it's just the bridge and the other door at the end, which will take you to HC if you open it. If you go back, you can push open the door the other way towards the guards as wolf link (human link will have the prompt to talk to them through the door so you can push it as him). Also, once you open it, you can go through, but not back the other way, as there's some invisible wall that only lets you pass through one way. So basically, you can't enter EHC, but you can leave it without much issue lol.

EDIT: Also, this:

I saw that highlight live...It was amazing watching him divide by zero...LIVE!

That's the best thing I ever seened.  This proves anything is possible in The Legend of Zelda: Trigger Problematics.
Micromanager extraordinaire
Maybe you could try to find a way to clip through the wall and trigger the fight out of bounds?
I doubt it is useful at all. Even if it was it would be impossible to get into without the Super Spinner.

This would save time in a single segment with resets run. Too bad it is very risky and insanely difficult.
