When the bridge is breaking, it is possible to reach to top of the climbing part right after the jump... Did it only one time anyways Sad

. I think it is because the bridge wasn't breaking, you have to step on it then leave it... Weird anyways.

Base Approach + Mountain Base 100. Not much routing to do outside of enemy manip and banner order, so I combined them to one.

Just did a 02:24 run (XBOX360, normal, no agility skill) , happy with it so I will upload it. Even if I know I can do better, it was my goal after all. I know it is a little boring because it is not the best time but please watch it a little! There are some tricks you guys don't know (or think are useless?) and some weird things happened too. I will post it here once it is uploaded (we can wait a lot...) !

CrypticJacknife: Have you also taken into consideration possible save and quits for 100%? For example with the optional tomb in Mountain Village? Don't know if it would help a lot but I thought I should mention it Smiley

Is it also possible in the room with the lanterns to pick up and throw a lantern further away from the banner against the banner, then open the valve, then pick up the lantern next to the banner and stand next to the other lantern close by, throw the lantern and immediately pick up the lantern to use that one on the next banner?

Thanks Brass! The sound and the video are not synchronized, nooo... I wish it will be good next time. The video seems ok at least! My computer can't handle my recorder for a very long time.

Edit: Errr I checked some part of my run and at the Radio Tower for example, there is a little "lag" right after I did the door clip (it is really easy in the end) :/ ... It is not because I edited the video or I don't know. Stupid computer.

So did my first run today...

3:49:49 was the timer. not too bad for a first run, hoping to get it under 3:30 soon. That last skip really sucked, this was also done mostly without skips.

Haven't figured out the radio tower one (to get through the door) or Grim's skip

I don't see the problem with Grim Skip, practice it a little and it will be ok soon. Be sure to land on a rock...

About the radio tower's door clip, jump against the wall, try to land very close to the wall AND the step (to put in a nutshell, land in the corner) then do up/right + jump. It's more right + jump than up/right + jump but errr you will find out with a few tries. Lara will hop the fence towards the wall... then will go through it.

My video is at 33% and it is nearly 5 am here... I know a computer who is going to be in the another room of my very liiittle apartement.

That's 10 minutes faster then my first run shade :). These skips just take a little bit of practice to get but are usually consistant after you get it once... I say usually because of my run last night. Shade, once you get Climber's Agility, look at the elevator skip and try it. I'm not entirely certain how to explain it, but I'm wondering if it is possible on the PS3. LC GoL runs on a higher frame rate then the 360, so I'm wondering if it is the same for this game. Higher frame-rate = clip through doors apparently.

those at the first required camp (arrow first), then the camp after exiting the top of the village. When you "get to the choppah!" after the Salarii Fortress, you will dump 4 skills where ever to unlock the tier to get Climber's Agility. After you get this, you are done with camps. The only other one I do is when you get the new Bow, I upgrade the shotgun damage. Thats it.

I did a little trick at the elevator room, now we xbox 360 players can do something cool too.

I so need to learn about the skills. Did this run with the health one only AGAIN... I don't think upgrading a weapon is really required because you can kill an Oni with 2 arrows (break the armor > kill him) , but I learned that with my recent run. I learn something every run huh... Something strange happened every run too, like this:

I will need to investigate it, because... You will see once the run is uploaded. Don't think I will be able to do it again though.

Don't worry, I thought about S&Q for the tomb, unfortunately it saves you at the campfire right next to the tomb. I presume it will work this way with the other tombs. I doubt I can do a lantern swap like that, but hell I'll check it out anyway. I appreciate the suggestions.

Okay Base Exterior as short as it is is requiring some intense timing. L0rdy's skip is beneficial because it goes past the area with the treasure map, which you'd usually have to climb down and back up to get. Also all of the collectibles in the far end building are on the top floor. Hard to decide between Lordy's skip (with an as-of-yet developing set up) or Pewables quick clip, undoubtedly saving real time but requiring a more roundabout way to collect the items. Still yet to get the clip, I presume it's the fact I'm playing with WASD that might be messing with the mojo of this. I'll see what I can work out. Either way an optimised run of this place is still going to be hella fast in 100%.

EDIT: Tried for another 90 minutes on this clip. Nothing. L0rdy can you confirm that this is possible on PC? Looking at how little time L0rdy's skip saves in 100 over just doing the area normally, I figure I'll just post with the battle if Pewable's is indeed not something PC can't do. If it is possible and there is just a factor I'm not taking into account, I'll just say fuck it, move on the MV2 and come back to it once I've worked it out.

Do you mean the Radio Tower skip from Pewable Cryptic? That one is possible on PC its pretty easy as well if you know what you do ^^.

I havent, at what time did it happen?

Btw I played through the game again with completing it as fast as possible in mind, and I ran into 2 problems which you should be aware of.

First of all, the house skip that nobody was able to do so far. You actually have to be out of combat for that to work. She is ducking while in combat on the ledge which gives you a shorter jump. You can kill the 2 guards really fast tho and if you manage to kill them before they scream for help you dont have to deal with the additional 2 guards. So it would be only 2 extra shots you have to do.

Also the Geothermal Caverns skip. It is necessary that you have skilled all your points on the firecamp when you enter the caves. So that you unlock the Tier 2 skills. Because that gives you the melee attack, if you dont skill at that point you cant actually do it.

I tried the house skip after killing the guards, yeah. Didn't work.

Didn't try the Geothermal caverns skip yet, that is why I didn't try it during my run... Didn't have have the second melee attack anyways.

Something you guys maybe don't know (I showed it during the run) : if you are aiming while there is an explosion, Lara doesn't stop like an idiot and you can keep walking.

An update on xbox live... Wish they didn't remove anything.

Aaand skip is useless. I was able to skip the fire arrows until the beginning of the geothermal caverns, stupid first gas blocks me from going further. I am sure everything can be done without the fire arrows if we can skip it.
