OMG can't get under 1:35, swimming is ANNOYING! might try again sometime unless you post the video(s).

This record was from a couple of months ago, I just didn't tell anyone about it.

This took a while. I beat my record and it was 1:07.00, then I beat my record and it was 1:05.28.

I'm catching up to davincentcode's record of that level.

I just did this about 20 seconds before I edited this and forgot the xx. First I improved my record to 1:22.60, then to 1:17.xx.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 - A Roll Down Strolling Lane - Melty Monster - 54.93

I finally got the end shortcut right. Only mistake was I accidentally passed the star and bounced against walls (two times) and then got the star.
edit: Super Mario Galaxy 2 - The Flotacious Blimp Fruit - Tall Trunk - 1:49.46

Okay, not easy to do. Last time I climbed up the tree without yoshi a different way, which was slower. I used logitech's way and got this. At the end I almost missed the star (shaked blimp fruit off and hopped off yoshi to save time) and then luckly luigi's hand touched the star, so instead I finished the star.

This was fantastic! Only mistake was when I span+jumped on the yoshi egg on the last planet, I span again in mid-air (before landing on yoshi) which wasted time.

This is the current WR for the level, I beat the last WR of 1:49.36 by someone on YouTube (the vid for the 1:49.36 by someone on youtube is on the star times wiki).

I always need help from my sister to record with her webcam, because I have to hold the webcam, and I hold the wii remote+nunchuck and my hands are full. I can't hold all at once.

Unless I use my video camera, which will take longer to get vid on YouTube, and vid will have no sound (error with vid camera).

Couldn't you just put it on something in front of the TV, like a chair or a stack of books? Or a tripod? No sound is no problem, I usually end up muting YouTube videos anyway.

I saved two clouds for the next planet, so after I land on the next planet, I cloud backflip+cloud, then longjump+spin to the nearest cloud flower.

Burning Upside Dizzy is ridiculously hard. Took me a good ten minutes first time around, haven't tried again without a P2 to destroy boxes I miss.

its not so hard if you have a decent strat. If you just run around randomely shooting fireballs then it can be hard.

I had one that worked, I just kept missing boxes here and there.
On a side note, I'm making a list of challenges for the game, ranging from minimum jumps to skipping power-ups.
I bet you didn't know that Storming the Sky Fleet can be completed with only one jump, same with Make Mario a Star. Or that it only takes four to clear Think Before You Shake. Sorry for being off-topic, but with my random messing around, I found it's probably faster to do Spring into the Chompworks without getting the spring mushroom, at least on the first two planets it is.

EDIT: Actually, the Spring Mushroom is gotten in the current run for the main mission, but it isn't for Green Star 3.

Slight improvement to Make Mario a Star - 43.83
Mainly because I realized I didn't keep the original file... oh well, made an improvement out of it. Might work on a few of these while trying to find a new big project.

Also wondering, would there verifiers on the IL table have to be people who didn't participate at all? Because if so a lot of this game's speedrunners would be ineligible.
